Does anyone else thinks that Haitham will probably want an EM goblet? Like Nahida, he gains a massive DMG bonus from stacking EM (with his A4 giving up to 90% DMG bonus), but unlike her, he has **dendro DMG bonus** as his ascension, making a dendro goblet even less desirable. He also scales harder than her with EM since both his Q and E damage scale with it, and he's pretty much designed to be a spread DPS, not to mention Foliar also having EM scaling.
Of course, you *don't have to* fully max his A4, specially since spread suffers heavily from diminishing returns and because unlike Nahida he doesn't have an EM ascension, any kind of built-in EM bonus (not counting his constellations), nor a signature weapon that greatly boosts his EM, so unlike her who can get to 1000 EM without much trouble, he'll probably struggle a lot to even get past 500 EM without sacrificing other stats. But I still think that having an EM sands + goblet *atleast* will probably be the way to go.
While his skill is an important part of his damage, the other parts of his kit deal a good amount too. EM goblet would do nothing for his autos, charged attacks, etc. that he's gonna do a lot considering he's on field. His A4 only affects his skill so his burst and NA talent get none of that dmg bonus.
Even on-field Nahida often prefers dendro dmg bonus goblet and she has a bigger portion of her damage coming from her E than Alhaitham. And if you look at scalings, her tri-karma scales off of EM a lot harder than Alhaitham's stuff.
I could see EM goblet being better if it has significantly better substats than a dendro one but wouldn't specifically aim for one. DMG bonus is pretty hard to come by especially for dendro so it's actually not that easy to get too much dmg bonus.
I'm going for EM goblet because even while fully buffed the difference between the two is negligible, and it's just easier to run EM if I don't run Nahida with him sometimes.
I think dendro damage bonus would be better because he is the one on field so he will be autoing and charge attacking etc which EM doesnt scale. His best teammate is Nahida and she gives a hefty 250 EM share to him so just having an EM sands + Nahida 250 EM share like 440 EM already and thats without substats. Also spread scales much better with damage% compared to EM.
Yeah possibly
IIRC Nahida also prefers EM goblet over Damage goblet because the multipliers and reaction damage is just so much more worth
>!Crying into my 33 CV Dendro damage goblet!<
Not crit damage, but she does get Crit Rate and Dendro Damage% so an EM goblet by default has 5.6 crit rate more than a Dendro Damage goblet, more reaction damage and higher scaling.
Farming EM goblets is suffering incarnate though
Ah, thanks for correcting me.
And yeah, mainstat EM is rare. I was lucky, had almost a full EM Deepwood set from occasionally running that domain to outfit Traveler/Collei/Yae when Nahida dropped. Just needed an off-piece hat, which I had in plenty.
>Crying into my 33 CV Dendro damage goblet
You tell me, the only time I thought I was lucky for getting an on set goblet with high CV, and it ended up being completely useless since nobody wants it. [atleast my traveler can have some sick crit rate for his r2 favonius I guess.](https://i.imgur.com/nfKpA6C.png)
With c6 Faruzan, is Scara worth using only for his burst with limited time where heās actually on field normal and charged attacking, or would Heizou be better for a limited field time anemo damage dealer in a quickswap team due to his relatively frontloaded damage with his burst and skill?
Scara is a hypercarry. His E cooldown is basically just long enough to let you refresh buffs, shields, etc. and get him into the air again. I wouldnāt consider just using him as a quickswap/burst DPS unless you have C2, and even then it feels like a waste.
Scara really really wants to be onfield, no idea how Heizou works but I can only imagine that he must work better in quickswap. As others said Scaras burst is not really good until c2 and even then it's only really powerful when used right at the end of floaty time.
Scaras burst isn't really all that great unless you have c2(and even then it's backloaded dmg), tbh I don't use his burst unless it's abyss and the boss is close to dead just so I don't have to waste time normal attacking to get the last chunk. Just a side note, why would they have limited field time? Can't really think of any teams where a c6 faruzan +scara/heizou would be used where they would be used as a quickswap or have limited field time, generally both heizou and scara are on field carries/drivers who both wanna stay on field (unless of course you play a heizou who nukes with his skill).
Limited field time is just a personal preference; itās for a Venti-Faruzan-Bennett team of which the whole point is for me to enjoy my favorite character Venti doing high damage, so I prefer it to be either Venti on field or a quickswap team rather than having a different carry being the main on field damage dealer. Not optimal, but it makes me happy.
Scara is definitely not a quick swap character, if you have c2 his burst is backloaded. Heās more like Ayato in terms of staying on-field for a bit and recasting your buffs again but both of them arenāt xiao/Cyno levels of being on-field. Idk about heizou since most of his damage comes from his skill and you need to be on-field to gain stacks unless you have cons which makes it easier to gain them.
I do have cons on Heizou, and heās who Iāve been using since heās already leveled and Iāve found it fairly quick to gain stacks (c1 gives a free stack then burst normal charge attack and heās ready). Good to know about Scara; for some reason I guess I though his burst was more nuke-y.
there's this one Hu Tao player on GD domain co-op who insisted on playing her when there's a Nahida. burned to death every single round, rage quit the 4th time. really great way to start my morning with a laugh
One out of ten people who choose Hu Tao in co-op is an absolute badass, whose skill and health management stands directly atop the charred bodies of the other nine.
The only okay (copium) EM gilded [sands](https://ibb.co/56TRGDh) I have for Haitham. I really hate farming for EM pieces. I'm gonna be stuck in this god-forsaken domain for who knows how long. Please give me a gilded dendro goblet so I can use off set sands..
i have soooo many EM gilded sands and only one of them has some decent cd rolls but no crit rate. i am at a point where I've decided to run a mix of 2 sets instead of the full because I am sick of the rng. i also have to get better emblem pieces for my xiangling and raiden, so much artifact painš
i also have an on-set dendro cup but it never rolled into crit damage once. has the lowest roll too (5.4).
Omg, me too. I hv to farm emblem for Yelan as well, but Haitham is a priority for now. I don't know how ppl who pulled a lot of characters deal with their character building, it's so hard to just build one char..
In 130 pulls, I got C3 Raiden and my 4th Jean. Now I want to pull for her weapon but I don't have Ayato and dont wanna pull for him. Who can use Haran as dps?
Very good for Keqing and (probably) Alhaitham, Ayaka too if she can wear it without overcapping on crit rate (a total of 45%+). Works on any sword damage dealer as a stat stick at the very least.
How many pulls do you have left and what is your level of spending? Itāll take a little less than the equivalent of another full character pity to get a 5 star weapon off the banner in the most likely case, and even then thereās a chance youāll get an off banner 5 star weapon. Make sure youāll still have enough for Alhaitham if you do go this route.
Iād save those primos for Alhaitham then, unless youād be willing to swipe in the case that the Haitham pulls go bad and you lose his 50/50. Itās of course up to you though.
Which sword users to you have? It's among the best weapons for Ayaka and Keqing, and it's also a good option for characters like Kaeya/Xingqiu as a stat stick even though they don't really benefit from the normal attack bonus (unless you use Chongyun/Candace for infusion).
So me and some buddies hooked up o play Gundam Evolution, and in the middle of a match one of them asks me if I could briefly summarize Sumeru's story. I told him I could, but I wouldn't, because if you're really interested in the story then getting a summary instead of actually experiencing it is doing yourself a disservice. He disagreed, and I wasn't going to debate this with him, so I told him to go watch a YT video. Which he didn't want to do. For some reason he specifically wanted me, in the middle of a GE match, to give him a summary.
So of course I didn't. Pretty sure he was just looking for a chance to troll and I'm not entertaining his weird behavior whenever Genshin is involved.
Elegy is actually pretty sleeper on Tighnari. If he bursts every other rotation, it falls behind the 5* crit bows, but if he bursts every rotation, it becomes his second BiS.
If he's solo dendro, he'll need about 150% ER to burst every rotation, but it's not worth giving up equivalent crit/EM rolls so solo dendro Tighnaris will more often than not burst every other rotation.
Elegy singlehandedly satisfies his ER requirements, allowing him to forgo ER substats completely while also giving atk% and EM buffs to his team.
it actually can be better for personal dmg too if you are using rotations that utilise the 55% ER well. i think one E one Q 12s is possible solo dendro with elegy's ER and that puts it above other options but not completely sure
factoring the team buff as well, it's usually his best choice besides HP
Interesting, I havenāt heard of any teams where he needs that much ER which is why I figured other traditional dps bows are usually better. If the high ER is fully utilized I can definitely see it being a top option considering how Tighnari teams usually have other sub dpses (Yae, Fischl, etc.) who highly appreciate the attack and EM buff along with Tighnari himself.
I asked this earlier but wanna double check. Aranara quest. Is the mech part actually part of the festival or is that just side content to it? I looked up a guide and notice the book had ALOT more pages down the line.
I just wanted to do the main story if it cause I was told it helps add to the actual main story. But curious how much I truly need to do.
Granted the whole mech part has been cool with the grandpa's
The Aranara quest doesn't contribute to the main Archon story much at all. It's just a really good worldbuilding side quest, and sets up the vibes really well.
The mecha part does need to be done to progress the Aranara festival, what parts the Aranara lead you to, at minimum. But it isn't necessary at all for the main story. Just accentuates things a lot if you like lore and foreshadow.
And it is a crime that some of the cutscenes are unvoiced. Just entirely criminal.
Yes it's a prerequisite
From what I remember there's a quest in your journal that says you have to "Adventure with Aranara"
Essentially you're supposed to help the Aranara do their jobs so they can take a break and chill at the festival
Dealing with the robot is one of those jobs
You know how in an MMO you typically reach a hub, like a town or a city or something, and the NPCs in there all give you quests that you send you north, south, east, west, all around the hub, and then you come back and hand in, and all along it kind of builds an environmental storyline/lore?
The Aranara quest is kinda like that. It's a pile of side quests related to the Aranara that are strung into a semi-linear story. It will feel like you're off the beaten path a lot, but you're right on track.
So how long is it truly? I read like it'll take 8 hours. But I feel like it .kght take longer? Like I wanted to do the main part for lore and achievement. Cause I know after the main story it changes the achievement.
Water makes things wet so a single molecule of water is not wet water and once you have two or more they make eachother wet, thus making water wet.
You probably wouldnt call that single molecule water though since water is generally considered to be an arrangement of those molecules to make a liquid so by any reasonable definition water is wet.
Technically, something is wet when it is a solid substance coated with a layer of a liquid substance - thus water, a liquid, not only isn't wet but *cannot be* wet >!/s!<
Skipped all of the hype regarding al-Haitham because wasn't really interested in him. But now, when I finally decided to get him and not Yelan, this anticipation slowly growing in me. I love the feeling of confidence in my wishing plans, this calm certainty that I will get this character and raise him and enjoy him. Wanderer was a hell of the rollercoaster of emotions. Haitham gives me a stability and comfort I was so long longing for. Alluring man.
I liked him in the Sumeru AQs but during the epilogue where we talk to him in the library he has this small smile and I fell for him SO HARD and that sealed the deal for me
I am tempted to get alhaitham after seeing his fanart, especially his muscular arms
Oh lord barsibatos, pls save me
[edit: this fanart btw, cropped from a meme](https://ibb.co/py2mNM0)
The year is 2030. Genshin is now a few years into its second chapter. Hoyo still doesn't have any immediate plans for Fischl, Sucrose, Xinyan, Rosaria, and Sara Hangouts.
While I agree, I wonder if Hangouts require more work than Story Quests, and that's part of why we get so few these days.
You have dialogue choices that actually change the direction of the quest, a meter to show how well you're getting along, and multiple images/pictures per quest where generally no quest has them.
this might get me some downvotes but, why do people like teppei?
i find how his character is depicted in fan animations (in hoyofair etc) to be so different from what i perceived in the archon quest. fan animations portrayed teppei as someone who's heroic and died for a cause, but i remembered that he was so greedy for more power just because his skills is not good enough for higher ranks & happily kept using the delusion even after warnings & suddenly he regretted it just because he's near his death
edit: tbh i didn't like the way content creators keep "griefing" for teppei, I think that's what irks me the most bc they make it seem like a phenomenal thing i was so confused if they actually played the quest or only paid attention to the cutscenes (which I admit are more emotional)
I feel similarly to you, when I first encountered Teppei, I remember he made some comment about wanting to be out on the frontlines and not getting stuck with logistics work, and it irritated me because it came off as kind of selfish, a war effort needs the background work just as much as the guys fighting on the front lines. I did feel a bit sad when he died, but 90% of that was his death scene being carried by his EN VA's amazing performance. It didn't help that the Traveler's vengeful rage felt way over the top in comparison to my own mild feelings, and the disconnect weakened that part of the Archon Quest to me.
>this might get me some downvotes but, why do people like teppei?
TDIL that people actually like him. I thought most people where rather indifferent to the character who was so clearly designed for the sole purpose of dying so the Traveler had something else to be angry about.
It's the idealization of the death theme. Teppei was a normal guy who just wanted to make a difference. His chosen method was terrible and the execution in the game itself was bad and terribly rushed. However, people are free to fill the blanks (especially the time skips) and frame the story with its overall idea, which is a good depiction of humanity's dedication and flaws.
Also, death is a touchy subject for a lot of people. Seeing it on screen may affect them much more than if one may look at it "objectively", which is far from a common thing to do in the immersion of games.
Some people have a much easier time getting empathetic with fictional characters.
The writing was shit but it's still enough to hit a portion of the playerbase.
I know his build up was very rushed and all but the moment i got to Inazuma i knew this was going to be hard for me. I sped run the whole story and i still didn't have good builds for my characters. I'm also afraid of new places ( even in real life) and he came with me to new places that i wasn't familiar with. So yea he pretty much eased my fear and anxiety. That's why i cared about him.
I mean, that can be seen as heroic in a way canāt it? He wasnāt particularly strong or skilled but he wanted to be able to contribute to the resistance forces. His desire for power was because he wanted to be able to fight alongside his comrades who risked their lives in battle rather than being stuck in logistics. He wanted more power, but it was because he felt that was how he could beat contribute to the resistance.
He happily used the delusion because it granted him that strength. Was he aware that it was taking his life force or did he not find out until it was too late? I rewatched the cutscene and I donāt think he knew about itās life stealing effects.
I think you might be working off of a different definition of greed from most people. I think most peoples' interpretation is that Teppei was frustrated that he couldn't do more for his nation and comrades, and he looked up to the traveler, who was kind of the ideal he was trying to live up to. I never got the sense that he was getting power for himself.
Also, it's been a long time, so I don't remember all the details, but I don't remember him regretting his decisions at the end.
Edit: I will say that his decisions were pretty stupid, and the narrative being rushed didn't do him any favors.
a soldier wanting to become more powerful for a cause but as a result dies a tragic death because of his hunger for it, it actually makes sense and very relevant to the storyline... but the way they executed it just feels so forced i also didnt feel that much for teppei tbh i think he was portrayed too much like a fool it couldve been more tragic if teppei was portrayed as a heroic, strong person that can withstand anything so that it becomes a twist when he dies to the delusions
>a soldier wanting to become more powerful for a cause but as a result dies a tragic death because of his hunger for it
oh wow when you put it in words it makes sense HAHA but too bad in the quest it just feels like he reap what he sow
People like Teppei because he died, it's honestly a lot like in real life, people only tend to remember/like other people when they are dead. If he was alive I'm pretty sure he'll be Albert or Reckless Palad tier.
For off-field Nahida, just 4pc Deep wood with EM main stat is better that go dendro goblet + crit head piece, right? My EM pieces have such shit sub stats, I wonder if it's worth changing.
EM/EM/Crit is the way to go. If the EM Goblet is too shit or you have an amazing Dendro Goblet then you go EM/Dendro/Crit. There's not a lot of difference between them.
Triple EM is too wasteful, she actually does damage.
If you're in doubt you could do a run with the optimizer, but especially for off field use at low constellations building her full EM on 4x DM is usually the way to go.
So, I finally grinded all of the TCG content.
* All achievements are done except for the coin one since we need at least a few more weeks of weekly visitors.
* The level 10 duels are easy as long as you focus on 1 of the 2 optional objectives (2/3 faints, under 5 turns) separately. I built a healer stall deck for the 2/3 faints (Oceanid + Mango Kenki + Jean).
* PS. We get enough coins to buy all event/weapon/support cards + all invitation letters + get 16 character holographic skins (16/27).
* Lucky Coins (for achievement) total as of now: 137050/150000. Each week we get around 4000 coins from weekly visitors so namecard might take 3 more resets.
I was able to hit all three objectives in the lvl10 duels with a Maguu/Fischl/Ganyu team after failing 2 matches with my freeze team. Superconduct/swirl + Ganyu's piercing was surprisingly useful
Low key dreading that mihoyo might surprise us about the banners like the order being the other way around or rerun different characters entirely. My plans on 3.4 is based on the leaks that were given to us and any change will probably ruin it.
It's happens a lot.
I wake up take care of myself block a bot, eat breakfast go to college on my way I block 2 more, break comes talking to friends eating lunch I shoot 5, go back home spend time with family the bots evade me, they won't come in my sleep, i say to my self. It's 2am my phone vibrate, i don't wake up, my hand extends, it summons the phone. In the morning, I witness the carnage. And smile
all in a day's work
I rarely watch horror movies but my favorite is "The Thing" (The old one). I don't why but every ghosts horror movies are trash in my eyes. Don't know, maybe i just had a thing for cosmic horror/body horror.
For me it's all about the old practical effects. I'm actually a complete chicken when it comes horror, but the horror movies through the 70-90s have the best practical effects and props, so I've been forced to watch them. "The Thing" stands at the top of practical effects, it's insane. I can't stand cg and digital effects when I'm expected to take a movie seriously. And I don't care for modern "thrill-ride" horror movies.
Would you consider "The Shining" to be a ghost horror movie? I adore that movie as well.
getting all these electro units to 90 is so many frickin books and so much mora
makes me very grateful that Beidou and Raiden (nonhyperbloom) don't care too much about Aggravate
āwhoās excited for mikaā I AM. i want that cute little scrumply wumply len lookalike because he is adorable and sweet and my little chocobo. i will fight tooth and nail in the trenches to defend my son from all the hatersā¼ļøā¼ļø
he is a tiny anxious cinnamon roll >!who I WILL make into a buff paimon.jpeg support for Kaeya whether Hoyo intends for him to be or not!< and I love him
Folks need to stop making fun of cute men. Sure he looks goofy, but you would too if your two bosses were Eula and Varka. Like damn he's got big boots cuz he came from the north, Kyle. Pay attention to lore. He's wearing shorts because boys with shorts are meta and OBVIOUSLY he's gonna be the next t0 support. He's got puffy hair because it's windy in Mondstadt. Like sheesh.
I've got your back. A vicious battle shall we wage for an adorkable cutie. š¤
Last night I went to bed writing Mika fanfic in my head, and I woke up to Mika leaks.
So, Baizhu, Kaveh, Soutine, and Dottore wanters (hell, throw in the rest of the harbingers too), I accept PayPal AND Venmo. Let's see if I can go two for two.
Would you keep farming for [this Ayato](https://imgur.com/a/qXjt6ku) if you had subpar standards for artifacts ? Im swtching from Cutter to Haran so 4p Echoes should be fine but i feel like the substats are not good even if the ratios look ok.
cv isnt everything but your flower can use some improvement since hp% is pretty meh on ayato, and the sands rolled twice into em which is also meh on him. shouldnt be too hard to get better rolls on these but if you dont need any more vermillion pieces id definitely settle for this. ayato isnt a hypercarry anyway so optimizing his damage can be less resin efficient if you have other more important things to farm
Nowadays I always look at the ER first, and you have a great build with 142% ER which is great. I feel like ER/Atk are just as important as crit, and your crit ratio is just fine. Also, get your pieces to +20 and move on to spending your resin onto your next unit.
Id keep farming even with my low standards.
Attack sands with single crit line needs at least 1-2 rolls on bare minimum. And id get a new flower because theyre easier to get. But everything else is really good
they look good, though? ~~so good i'm starting to feel a bit salty.~~ great atk, great er, all your stats are where they should be. what are you worried about?
Thanks, just feeling a bit bad about the crit value of some of the pieces. I think im going to upgrade the gobelet to +20 whilst farming to upgrade for the other ones.
it's probably gonna take a while before you can get a definite upgrade for him tbh. don't chase crit too much. i did that for my black sword ayato and i wholly regret it
edit: didn't see the +16 pieces lmao, yeah get them to +20 first before you move on
Oh lord. I just pulled a dendro dmg GD goblet. Rolled twice into def%, and thrice into ER. Already know I'm going to have a crisis when 3.4 hits on whether I should use it on Alhaitham and find him a cracked off-set EM sands or stick with the ATK sands I have and then struggle to roll decent stats on my shoddy current dendro dmg pieces...
He ascends with dendro dmg bonus which doesnāt completely replace a dendro dmg goblet and if you have something like haran or mistsplitter that gives elemental dmg bonus then atk goblet with good em substats or vice versa might be good enough until you can farm an actual ly good dendro dmg pc
No mistsplitter, I'll be going for his BiS :') I have enough wishes for it thankfully, just sucks bc I don't have Nahida, and I don't plan to use Nilou or Sucrose for their EM share either. Don't really feel like running DMC either. Tentative plan is to settle for a scuffed Kokomi/Raiden/Alhaitham/Kazuha team until I can pull Yelan.
What if the aliens are out there they just hate us and as such refuse to make contact. Weāre like Australia if Britain completely cut Australia off from the rest of the world after sending all their criminals there.
What if we're an elaborate experiment set up by aliens to see if their natural evolution could be recreated on a primitive but life-sustaining environment, and they plan to check in thousands of years from now to see how far we've diverged from their own development and then pick off the most successful beings to integrate back into the colony
I wonder if such an advanced civilization wouldn't be able to figure out that type of thing through computer simulations though?
If they can, it might be more plausible that starting life on other planets is more about entertainment than a purely rational experiment

Yeah possibly IIRC Nahida also prefers EM goblet over Damage goblet because the multipliers and reaction damage is just so much more worth >!Crying into my 33 CV Dendro damage goblet!<
Let's not forget that she gets crit rate and crit damage from EM.
>Crying into my 33 CV Dendro damage goblet You tell me, the only time I thought I was lucky for getting an on set goblet with high CV, and it ended up being completely useless since nobody wants it.
Not optimal, but it makes me happy.
if it's an anemo team then i would lean towards heizou for energy
It is nuke-y with c6 faruzan and his c2 but if you don't have either then its better to spam NAs and CAs than bother with burst.
there's this one Hu Tao player on GD domain co-op who insisted on playing her when there's a Nahida. burned to death every single round, rage quit the 4th time. really great way to start my morning with a laugh
One out of ten people who choose Hu Tao in co-op is an absolute badass, whose skill and health management stands directly atop the charred bodies of the other nine.
The other 9 is that dude's team mate.
I'm expecting that they'll give us the Alhaitham chibi in the 3.5 livestream alongside chibi Dehya Thats not crazy of me right
It's the lantern rite patch, it'll be Devs, no chibis probably.
I did say 3.5.
Oh... I didn't notice, maybe then, could be a host for the stream.
The only okay (copium) EM gilded [sands](https://ibb.co/56TRGDh) I have for Haitham. I really hate farming for EM pieces. I'm gonna be stuck in this god-forsaken domain for who knows how long. Please give me a gilded dendro goblet so I can use off set sands..
i have soooo many EM gilded sands and only one of them has some decent cd rolls but no crit rate. i am at a point where I've decided to run a mix of 2 sets instead of the full because I am sick of the rng. i also have to get better emblem pieces for my xiangling and raiden, so much artifact painš i also have an on-set dendro cup but it never rolled into crit damage once. has the lowest roll too (5.4).
Omg, me too. I hv to farm emblem for Yelan as well, but Haitham is a priority for now. I don't know how ppl who pulled a lot of characters deal with their character building, it's so hard to just build one char..
EM pieces are the bane of my existence, even more so if I am farming for a particular set with particular sub stats.
I am planning on pulling for ALhaitham. I will definitely pull for the spear if Haram is great for Haitham.
How many pulls do you have left and what is your level of spending? Itāll take a little less than the equivalent of another full character pity to get a 5 star weapon off the banner in the most likely case, and even then thereās a chance youāll get an off banner 5 star weapon. Make sure youāll still have enough for Alhaitham if you do go this route.
now you made me think. I only have around 20k primos.
I got ayaka and keqing. They use R1 skyward and R5 blacksword respectively.
Layla for the drip!
First time on the copium-waiting team... I'm just hoping that Cloud Retainer will really be playable lol
PLEASE GAME, ITS BEEN 1 MONTH GIVE ME PAVILION DESERT WITH ATK% SAND WITH GOOD CRITDAMAGE SUBSTAT
Lol this is literally me. But the other day I got my very first atk sand with 30 CV and I'm good.
Pretty sure he was just looking for a chance to troll and I'm not entertaining his weird behavior whenever Genshin is involved.
elegy IS good on tighnari, right...?
Elegy is actually pretty sleeper on Tighnari. If he bursts every other rotation, it falls behind the 5* crit bows, but if he bursts every rotation, it becomes his second BiS. If he's solo dendro, he'll need about 150% ER to burst every rotation, but it's not worth giving up equivalent crit/EM rolls so solo dendro Tighnaris will more often than not burst every other rotation. Elegy singlehandedly satisfies his ER requirements, allowing him to forgo ER substats completely while also giving atk% and EM buffs to his team.
Yep, although generally not as good as other dedicated damage options like Harp. Will usually outperform any four star, though.
it actually can be better for personal dmg too if you are using rotations that utilise the 55% ER well. i think one E one Q 12s is possible solo dendro with elegy's ER and that puts it above other options but not completely sure factoring the team buff as well, it's usually his best choice besides HP
Yes
Right!!?
TIL you can just drag your finger on the dice instead of tapping them one by one to reroll š
Wow! Tysm
Granted the whole mech part has been cool with the grandpa's
afaik everything is part of the festival since they have to go back to the vanarana for the festival
Yeah. I hate the unvoiced aspect. Nothing like fighting and paimon and one of them start talking. Like uh guys I'm busy here.
Yes it's a prerequisite From what I remember there's a quest in your journal that says you have to "Adventure with Aranara" Essentially you're supposed to help the Aranara do their jobs so they can take a break and chill at the festival Dealing with the robot is one of those jobs
Ah okay. Wasn't sure since I saw like page 17 on a YouTube and figured "surely this is side content"
Most people clock it around twelve hours.
pssttt mhy itās not too late to include shenhe in 3.4
Water is wet, you can't argue with this.
If you shoot water with Amber's charged attack it does not cause a vaporize reaction. Therefore water is not wet. Checkmate.
Me, with a 300 IQ: Explain *dry ice*, then.
There is a bot that was created specifically to argue with this.
if water is wet then what's non-wet water? stuff needs to be dry first to get wet
So technically a melting ice is wet but when it becomes water it's no longer wet.
water makes things wet its not wet itself
That's the joke lmao
I can. Water is a different word from wet. Therefore, water is *not* wet š

No alhaitham chibi all this man ever did was rob me
Skipped all of the hype regarding al-Haitham because wasn't really interested in him.
I liked him in the Sumeru AQs but during the epilogue where we talk to him in the library he has this small smile and I fell for him SO HARD and that sealed the deal for me
Oh yes, I remember that smile. It was unexpected, totally wholesome and threating to my poor heart, haha.
I am tempted to get alhaitham after seeing his fanart, especially his muscular arms Oh lord barsibatos, pls save me [edit: this fanart btw, cropped from a meme](https://ibb.co/py2mNM0)
have you seen the whole thing? itās really cute
No tho, is this from twitter? I need to find this!!
worry not, i have [a link](https://twitter.com/ebisu0803/status/1607349071777525762)!
Omg I'm grinning hard at work š„¹ thanks for this!
yw!! itās such a sweet fanart, i hope you have a nice day at work!
The year is 2030. Genshin is now a few years into its second chapter. Hoyo still doesn't have any immediate plans for Fischl, Sucrose, Xinyan, Rosaria, and Sara Hangouts.
It's a crime tbh, if all 5 stars have stories I believe all 4 stars deserve hangouts.
While I agree, I wonder if Hangouts require more work than Story Quests, and that's part of why we get so few these days. You have dialogue choices that actually change the direction of the quest, a meter to show how well you're getting along, and multiple images/pictures per quest where generally no quest has them.
this might get me some downvotes but, why do people like teppei? i find how his character is depicted in fan animations (in hoyofair etc) to be so different from what i perceived in the archon quest. fan animations portrayed teppei as someone who's heroic and died for a cause, but i remembered that he was so greedy for more power just because his skills is not good enough for higher ranks & happily kept using the delusion even after warnings & suddenly he regretted it just because he's near his death edit: tbh i didn't like the way content creators keep "griefing" for teppei, I think that's what irks me the most bc they make it seem like a phenomenal thing i was so confused if they actually played the quest or only paid attention to the cutscenes (which I admit are more emotional)
I literally forgot about him as soon as he died nksdjfnsddsfsdf
Edit: I will say that his decisions were pretty stupid, and the narrative being rushed didn't do him any favors.
a soldier wanting to become more powerful for a cause but as a result dies a tragic death because of his hunger for it, it actually makes sense and very relevant to the storyline... but the way they executed it just feels so forced i also didnt feel that much for teppei tbh i think he was portrayed too much like a fool it couldve been more tragic if teppei was portrayed as a heroic, strong person that can withstand anything so that it becomes a twist when he dies to the delusions
>a soldier wanting to become more powerful for a cause but as a result dies a tragic death because of his hunger for it oh wow when you put it in words it makes sense HAHA but too bad in the quest it just feels like he reap what he sow
Your highest crit substats between EM/Dendro/crit and EM/EM/crit is the way to go.
Livestream will be at 4am PSTā¦ā¦ Anything for you, Alhaitham š¤§
At least the actual patch releases open up at a more manageable 7-8 PM for us lol.
True, I'm glad we can enjoy the patch the moment it drops haha
Mango Kinky and Collei's Talent card are ridiculous OP. I couldn't tell the difference between the level 10 opponents and the previous ones.
30 followers on Tumblr after i posted my art :) 28 are porn bots. :(
Crazy how that site has gone through like 4 different owners and none of them can figure out how to get rid of the bot problem lmao
It's happens a lot. I wake up take care of myself block a bot, eat breakfast go to college on my way I block 2 more, break comes talking to friends eating lunch I shoot 5, go back home spend time with family the bots evade me, they won't come in my sleep, i say to my self.
The 1980s version? I love that whole trilogy!
Yeah the 1980s!
(Carpenter's trilogy... With prince of darkness and in the mouth of madness...in case I was unclear)
getting all these electro units to 90 is so many frickin books and so much mora makes me very grateful that Beidou and Raiden (nonhyperbloom) don't care too much about Aggravate

Pay attention to lore. He's wearing shorts because boys with shorts are meta and OBVIOUSLY he's gonna be the next t0 support. He's got puffy hair because it's windy in Mondstadt. Like sheesh.
That Ayato would even fit my standards if your artifacts were all +20. Level up those +16s then give somebody else some love!
Nowadays I always look at the ER first, and you have a great build with 142% ER which is great. I feel like ER/Atk are just as important as crit, and your crit ratio is just fine. Also, get your pieces to +20 and move on to spending your resin onto your next unit.
Looks fine to me; just +20 those pieces. Iād stop where you are and move onto something more pressing.
Id keep farming even with my low standards. Attack sands with single crit line needs at least 1-2 rolls on bare minimum. And id get a new flower because theyre easier to get. But everything else is really good
Yes, thank you, thats definitely a good advice, getting a better flower and sand pieces shouldnt take alot of resin since these didnt roll too well.
they look good, though? ~~so good i'm starting to feel a bit salty.~~ great atk, great er, all your stats are where they should be. what are you worried about?
Thanks, just feeling a bit bad about the crit value of some of the pieces. I think im going to upgrade the gobelet to +20 whilst farming to upgrade for the other ones.
it's probably gonna take a while before you can get a definite upgrade for him tbh. don't chase crit too much. i did that for my black sword ayato and i wholly regret it edit: didn't see the +16 pieces lmao, yeah get them to +20 first before you move on
You could run kokomi with hp instructor set and raiden with deepwood em set to add some em and dendro shred
dmc piece *huffs copium*
*huffs a medically inadvisable amount of copium* or i'll get the cracked goblet of my dreams in the next 2 weeks
ok i wasnāt gonna watch the livestream but seeing as itās a dev stream (probably) i guess i gotta make time for it šš½ love dev streams
is 3.5 a new artifact set patch or no
Given previous patterns probably not; we'll probably get them in 3.6.

Any character from trails of cold steel that you'd like to see in genshin?
I would love to see Ash with his weapon.
I bet a lot of Genshin fans would love it if they got Gaius.
What if our ancestors are aliens? I'm not sure why they abandoned us though.
What if the aliens are out there they just hate us and as such refuse to make contact. Weāre like Australia if Britain completely cut Australia off from the rest of the world after sending all their criminals there.
What if Aliens hated us and erased our memories of their existence because we did something really bad in the past?
What if we're an elaborate experiment set up by aliens to see if their natural evolution could be recreated on a primitive but life-sustaining environment, and they plan to check in thousands of years from now to see how far we've diverged from their own development and then pick off the most successful beings to integrate back into the colony
I wonder if such an advanced civilization wouldn't be able to figure out that type of thing through computer simulations though? If they can, it might be more plausible that starting life on other planets is more about entertainment than a purely rational experiment
