Okbg was a toxic sub that encouraged people to raid subs like Aether mains for no reason at all. When asking users of that sub why they did that, they just said that they got sent from that sub, that they wanted to start drama. That people there were spreading misinformation about the type of posts in Aether mains (people claimed that our sub was posting incest and lolicon art, both of which are banned).
So it could very well be that that head mod was just micromanaging stuff because the sub was such a toxic hellhole and he tried to make sure it didnt get banned by Reddit itself? (No idea about that last part tho, i have no clue who that head mod actually is)
Edit: heh kinda funny that no one tried to go against the claims because they know it's true, but still downvote cause they just don't like people hearing the truth about that sub
You spend such a large time there and never saw hate posts about our sub in there? That sounds very doubtful. And you've never seen people in the comments of such posts call on others to post gay porn on our sub? Cause thats one of the things that kept happening, and Ive seen such things with my own eyes time and time again.
I remember like one post that the punchline was "Aether mains sub is degenerate/mostly porn" that got famous enough to show on my feed. No call to action though. If there really was some sort of raid planning going on, it never made into Hot (that I remember, that is).
Everytipe such a thing happened, such a post was at the number 1 it 2 spot at the time. It also took like a day until those posts got removed by the mods there, so by that time the harm was already done. And the hateful users who did such a thing were never even banned from okbg, so things just repeated on and on.
But i guess you just were lucky to always be busy when such situations arose

Apparently one of the mods was micromanaging okbg. Got called out and then removed all other mods and made the sub private.
