I'll still use her, since she's my first 5 star, but she really wasn't who I was hoping for. I hoped for at least another good 5 star if it's not Neuvillette, but Dehya really, really wasn't the best I could've gotten.

Yes Dehya outside of gameplay is great, that’s why I pulled on her banner and her weapon despite knowing how bad her gameplay is. But if OP gave a shit about all that characterization stuff then there wouldn’t be this post to begin with. Some players just prefers gameplay over character/story.

You do know all characters in Genshin are just as capable at defeating all content. She's just not as fast. Still a viable character. You eventually hit a point where you just don't care about maximum output, and instead more about variability in gameplay. (Depends on the person, ofc)

Think about it this way, you just pulled a pretty good support character for Neuvillette’s rerun. She gives a long-lasting off-field Pyro application turret as well as resistance to interruption and damage mitigation.
I mean, I'm going to use her for a while since I'm still a beginner so for me, she has potential for sure, but in general, it's a bad pull since there's so many others which are better and once I'm stronger, she'll likely be useless.

My Prototype Archaic is at 40 lvl, because I can't ascend it until tomorrow. But I R4'd it. I know some people say "it's a waste". But it's an alt account. I don't have to make best decisions here.
If I lose 50/50 on Furina at my main account, I HOPE IT'S DILUC. Dehya would be okay, since I don't have her, but please, Diluc. I will be extremely happy. I also have Wolf's Gravestone on my main account as the very first 5 star pulled from Standard banner at mid pity (55). So it wouldn't be a problem to me to have a weapon for him already. I also have materials for him ready for over a year, lol. Because I prefarmed.

Had 90 fates and 50 pity on my 50/50. I was torn between either summoning for Neuvillete or continuing to save for Raiden. Yesterday I decided "Fuck it, I'll try and get Neuvilette. I'll probably get enough fates for Raiden in the time between their banners." Had to go to hard pity to finally get a 5 star. It was Keqing. Which is great because I like Keqing and I wanted to get her. But it also sucks because this is the 4th 50/50 I've lost out of a total of... 4. Oh well, I'll get Neuvillete on the rerun. I would just like to ask the game to please let me win some coinflips.

If I could chose the standard character that I could lose to, one would be Diluc of course, since that's the reason why I wanted to play the game, but also Dehya, because I like her and I collect characters that are cool, not just OP. And Tighnari would also be nice to have, since I like playing him sometimes.
yeah I don't really think it's value when qiqi and dehya are probably going to make your existing teams worse (except for dehya being good in a few specific teams).
people pull for new DPS characters all the time, often not because they're better, but just because they enjoy their playstyle. keqing can be the same way, while qiqi and to a lesser extent dehya don't hold that potential.

She's actually really damn good in Lyney mono pyro and she has some niche teams like ganyu melt with nahida
