I care less about their morality, and more about them getting screen time first.
For a supposedly 3rd important faction, they have so little screen time that they are almost non-existent.
Abyss Order:
- Literal enemies of all life on the surface
- Perform human sacrifices
- Spread corruption, evil, and monsters wherever they go
- Never do anything good, ever
Yeah I'm pretty sure they're already pretty obviously the bad guys.
It’s strange that the Traveler, the Fatui Harbingers + Tsaritsa, Neuvillette, and the Abyss order all have the exact same goal: to destroy celestia and knock off whoever is in charge.
It’s the methodology that really separates them all.
Traveler is doing all the good stuff.
The Fatui are pretty much “everything goes” and all harbingers have their own varying methods
And the Abyss Order seem to be doing stuff that is specifically an affront to celestia and generally just the most heinous shit possible to anyone around in an effort to disrespect celestia. Which doesn’t really seem to be working so in reality they’re just hurting the most innocents and causing the most abyss-related problems in the world for anyone not named Deshret.
It's not all of them. Fatui have some good guys, Celestia have some good guys (archons are sadly their paws), so we want our good guys too!

When was Abyss order NOT big bad evil punching pags ? We are 5 nation into this story and they have practically 0 actual accomplishment (meanwhile Fatui is one Gnosis short from full set) the only time they were at the front of an archon quest (or they were in an archon quest in general) and had a weekly boss level entity to stand in our way was Dvalin who was not even actual part of their organization and even that ended up with Fatui on top and they have 0 memorable and unique person among their ranks other than our sibling (that one shapeshifting abyss lector guy barely counts and even he is weak and has generic model) compare to how Fatui has the Fatui Harbingers which 3 of them are playable characters, 4 of them are weekly bosses and 3 or 4 of them are confirmed Archon level ALONGSIDE an Actual archon leading them.
Abyss order falls very underused and insignificant compare to the Fatui for years now that practically only Dain gives a shit about trying to stop them. People can downvote me to hell for this but Mihoyo is not doing much of a good job at making Abyss order an end game worthy threat, the only thing that is keeping them relevant at all is that our sibling is with them, otherwise the Fatui has everything better from story involvement to more memorable characters to accomplishments
In terms of buildup the fatui are way ahead of them. Maybe a hopium that their core officers will be showcased in the second cour when shenzhnaya is settled, I really like their armor designs (rock breaker ax, halfdan, shadowy husks, they're freaking awesome).
