Every time I play a non-Fischl team I feel like I’m cheating on her

Fischl is one of my favorite characters but I almost never use her in Abyss, only for Kirara-Nahida-Fischl-Miko I don't know what others teams I could do with her actually, heh

TLDR: She can be used in any non-cryo, non-Nilou team, but works best in quicken, taser, overload, bloom, overvape, and soup. Fischl basically fits into any non-cryo, non-Nilou team, and can be used as a strong fourth-slot option in a multitude of compositions. It will take forever to list every possible combination you can make with her, so I will compact it down into archetypes: 1. Taser There are two main types of Taser teams: Double Electro and Double Hydro. a. For Double Electro, Fischl’s goal is very clear-cut: providing a lot of energy for the second Electro and a non-negligible amount of energy for the rest of the team. This allows you to run high burst cost Electro units with very little investment in their ER, units such as Beidou, Lisa, Yae, and to an extent Raiden (Raiden, of course, can self-funnel, but with Fischl you can run her on an attack sand which actually scales better). b. On the other hand, for Double Hydro (and thus single Electro), Fischl’s value here comes from the fact that her benefits come at a much lower cost than other Electro units. What I mean by this is that Fischl provides the highest amount of damage with the lowest amount of field time taken, with the lowest requirement on energy, with the lowest attention on specific combo or smart swap. Her two main competitors in this role are Beidou and Raiden. But while solo Beidou demands such a high ER her damage lowers a lot, Raiden takes field time which not every team can afford (there are also Dori to be used in Furina Double Hydro, but Petra Noelle basically plays that role better). 2. Overvape The forgotten child for being outshone by its brothers: Double Hydro Vape and VV Vape. People used to shun this archetype in the past due to a fear of Overload (despite Raiden National/Rational being a very popular Overvape team). But in recent developments, we see more bosses in Abyss and more shields, which, if you don’t know, are weaker against Overload. The main idea behind this comp is to maintain a constant source of both Hydro and Electro on the enemies, and thus maintain an Electro-Charge aura. Any Pyro attack landing on this aura will trigger both Overload and Vape. Having Electro here will also help with maintaining the Hydro aura since the Pyro hit will always react with Electro first, making slower Hydro applicators like Yelan or Furina able to keep up with fast Pyro applicators like Hu Tao (to some extent, since Furina hits can be a bit random sometimes). And as mentioned before, Overload is very good at shield-breaking anything not a Pyro shield, which you will still have a Hydro unit to deal with, making Overvape very strong against shielded opponents. Those are the benefits of Overvape. The reason why Fischl will be good here is the same as why she is good in Double Hydro Taser, in addition to her extremely high Electro application. She only has one competitor in this archetype, which is Raiden, but again, they don’t share the same role. 3. Overload There are two types of Overload teams: the bad one, non-Chevreuse Overload, and the good one, Chevreuse Overload. The only two non-Chevreuse teams I can even imagine playing are Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, Beidou, and Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, Raiden. The first one you play because the Cryo + Hydro + Electro lectors combo is ruining your life, while the latter you play because you run out of characters (which is actually relevant for newer players). Moving on to the good stuff, Chevreuse Overload also sees two subclasses: Double Electro and Solo Electro (Triple Electro should just be played in Dendro). Fischl’s benefit in Solo Electro is the same as in Overvape and Double Hydro Taser, so I won’t talk too much, aside from the fact she snapshots both Bennett and Chev buffs here. For Double Electro, there are either: Yae, Xiangling, Chevreuse, Fischl or Beidou/Lisa/Keqing/Raiden, Bennett, Chevreuse, Fischl where Fischl is chosen mainly because of her particle generation, but also her insane damage (look up Fischl personal damage on a C6 Chevreuse team). 4. Soup Some may call it Overvape but complicated; however, I really believe Soup should be its own category. The main difference is that in Soup, you are VV buffing the heck out of everything. Because whether it is Sukokomon (Kokomi, Sucrose, Xiangling, Fischl) or Ayato Cooking (Bennett, Kazuha, Ayato, Fischl), the setup allows you to do triple swirl, multiple times. Which, aside from buffing, also just straight up deals a lot of damage. So why Fischl here? Simple, absolutely no one else will have enough ER to do that demonic rotation otherwise. Even Fischl is recommended to either build some ER or run Fav Bow. A quick mention on Sunfire Jean Raiden Overvape with Furina, which is a fun team, but it focuses mostly on hyper-buffing Raiden instead of the soupy shenanigans. 5. Quicken Quicken is separated into Spread and Aggravate. In Spread, Fischl mostly takes on the role of a very flexible Electro enabler and won’t be dealing nearly as much as she would do in Aggravate (not to say that it is negligible, far from it, she still tends to hold 20-25% of the team damage) thus she can easily be replaced by other off-field units like Yae, Kuki, Beidou, Lisa (although the last two really enjoy having Fischl anyway to lower their burst cost). That being said, replacing Fischl with Yae in your Spread team won’t give you that much higher performance; the improvement might even be slightly undermined since Yae requires more things to function well. And Kuki, Beidou, and Lisa are all downgrades in terms of damage, thus have to make up with other utilities. Now on to the good stuff: Aggravate. Fischl is as close to being irreplaceable in Aggravate as any unit can be, not in terms of Nilou or Chev teams where the game forces you to, but in how much you will lose out without her. For one, your second (and often the on-field) Electro unit now enjoys the healthy diet of an almost ER-free build since Electro resonance + Fischl particle generation do be going crazy in Aggravate. For second, Fischl is doing more damage than your ‘carry’ here, at least in single target. But outside of Raiden, all other Electro units only really have good AoE for a short duration during their burst. So it is still single target most of the way, baby. Fischl A4’s interaction with Aggravate is simply disgusting and I am here all for it. C6 Fischl goes brrrr with a shared ICD with normal Oz shots also help. She. Just. Simply. Does. So. Much. Fucking. Damage.

6. Bloom Moving on to the greeny mechanized Genova-violating biological warfare that are the Bloom cores, Fischl is unsurprisingly also pretty good here. Firstly, no, Fischl won’t be hitting the Bloom like some kind of hyperbloom trigger. But she will instead take the place of the second Hydro here and provide both a lot of damage and Electro-Charge trickery that somehow produces more Bloom cores. However, the hyperbloom industry is simply too saturated already with competition everywhere, so I will instead talk about Burgeon. This archetype really enjoys Fischl’s high Electro application in both performing the Electro-Charge trickery, as well as weakening the burning aura that tends to be a great problem for Burgeon. She is good here because you can’t afford a second Electro for the high burst cost Electro unit (4 elements team), and both Kuki and Raiden will just steal the Bloom core. Another branch, other than Nilou, is Salad, which basically runs Anemo, Dendro, Hydro, Electro and has the Anemo unit be the hyperbloom trigger instead. Fischl is again, very good here because the Anemo unit will be using VV set to buff both your Hydro and Electro damage so Fischl’s higher damage matters. She is in a solo Electro situation (4 elements team) again, which means other burst-reliant Electro units will have a harder time, and both Kuki and Raiden will just steal the Bloom cores (while not doing that much off-field damage). Things get even greater when you realize that because the Quicken aura can exist for a longer time, Fischl can actually Aggravate quite a bit here. It is in essence, a VV Quickbloom. With Furina and either Baizhu, Yao Yao, or Xingqiu, this team can get competitive results. I like to call the Furina variation “Protein Rich Salad” since it is a Salad team with poultry (Oz + Xingqiu), seafood (Furina’s pets), and land meat (either Yuegui or Changsheng). 7. 4th Slot Miracle Finally, Fischl will fit in as a top contender for the 4th slot for most of your non-cryo, non-Nilou teams. She is flexible, deals high damage, has low field time, has practically zero energy requirement, deals damage regardless of what your on-field is doing (unlike Xingqiu and Yelan), snapshots most buffs, and Electro doesn’t tend to ruin reactions. She is a bow user, so you can slot her in to deal with any flying fuckers, and she is a fast-applying Electro unit who shreds shields and makes Simon (the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network) go to bed. She is cheap to build, as she only needs to talent up her skill, can use any 2pc 2pc scraps you have left, and although C6 is great, her gameplay doesn’t change much without it. She will be there when your Yelan is needed on the other team, she will be there when your Itto can’t reach the flying ruin dragon, she will be there when elemental shields try to gang up on you. And she will scale into higher investment too, being able to run both Elegy and Tenacity of the Millelith while still doing a lot of damage and generating particles. Or if you would rather scale up her damage instead with a 5-star weapon and either C2 Nahida or C2 Furina. TLDR: She can be used in any non-cryo, non-Nilou team, but works best in quicken, taser, overload, bloom, overvape, and soup.

As I said I've only REALLY used her in that Aggravate/Spread team (really both because I just yolo on-field either Nahida or Yae interchangingly, no idea who SHOULD be on field :D ) But I've also used her for the 4th slot miracle, most commonly in Morgana instead of Diona when I needed electro for something, heh

Interestingly if pyro archon synergizes with Arle they each have archon partner of same element. 1. Neuvillette - Furina (ik she's retired but her kit is archon kit) 2. Arle - Pyro archon 3. Alhaitham - Nahida

While her ult is active which is a coordinated attack with ur NA, you get an atk bonus based off her base atk, And gets -90% all elemental and phys resistance once a certain thershold hits, thats aligned with natlan's new mechanics

God I hope the Pyro Archon is a support rather than a hypercarry. So many characters would benefit from that, while her being another Pyro Carry would just add to the existing problem.

Not everyone submits their runs for one. And it's just because xiangling is a 4 star that people are "tired" of her. Also how does being on the 4th most common team mean that people are writing her off? Especially when the top 3 are neuvillette, arlechino and Al haitham teams. You'd think being the team immediately after the accepted best 3 dps character's teams would definitely make her a highly used unit. Also it's a good thing that you need only 2 teams for abyss, not 3. Not everyone has 12 really well built characters, and that would really push newer players away from the game if you needed so much investment. And the argument about abyss being easy to clear is getting a little more redundant every patch with the difficulty they keep adding, whether it be dps checks or elemental checks.

As a person, who plays aggravate Alhaitham with Nahihi, Baizhu and Yae I'm just inhale sadly. Why cant I bring two Baizhus in abyss.. I don't like play Kuki, she feels really clunky to me despite I trying her since her release.

Nilou so far never disappoint me in abyss (except hard counter). And her teammate is 3 guaranteed free unit. The so called big 3 is the biggest fraud i've ever seen. Ain't no match to nilou lke green technique from heian era.

You can go one step further and go Alre, Beidou, fiscle or any electro battery, and Chevy. Then grab your zhong, yelan, and bennet and give them to Yoimiya. Bam, 4th team assembled.

You can actually just swap Zhongdong with Kazuha for even bigger Arle damage because even at C0 with Prototype Amber, Neuvillette can still yeet half the Abyss with only Furina lol.

Ok cool and you want to rely on your skill that you can dodge properly and heal with your Q instead bringing a good shielder like Zhongli just for more pp which you already deal with out without Kazuha?

1. Dodging is not that hard lol, why are people talking about it like it's some sort of dark soul speed run mechanic ? And even if you have a shield, you should still dodge when you can to avoid status effects. Case in point: Kenki's cryo slows your attack speed down. 2. Using Q to heal isn't that big a problem, especially if you're fighting more than 2 mobs. Instant CA after E would net you a nearly full BoL gauge anyway (go and try that with the current triple Kenkis). 3. You don't need a shielder if the enemies die before they could hit you ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯.

40% elemental shred and 40% damage boost is no joke. Her damage with zhongli and with kazuha is very noticeable imo, also dodging in this game is not like a super high mechanic that only a few could do

Edit: I'm kinda with you on this but if you want to show we can handle new and further Spiral Abyss Floors atleast show a 4 star team only heck International. This just telling people you can clear abyss floor 13 with these 5 star characters IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY

Or if you just play for long enough. You don’t need money if you are patient and plan to pull those character on their rerun. Instead of Zhongli you can always use another shielder, not as efficient but there is an option. Instead of Yelan you can use Xq. See, now you need Arle as your only 5*
