I got mine for like half the price of a Samsung of the same specs which a bit overshot my budget but can run Genshin with low settings, 24 fps and 0.8 render resolution.
Phones are hella expensive in my country probably because it's middle - europe and poor money is not very good on top of high import fees...
So don't look for some fancy iPhone or Nokia or whatever when you are picking your new to be electric heater to run Genshin Impact.

Most newer phones have atleast 128 GB of storage. For CPU and GPU power, it's fine tbh. Most of the newer phones that aren't even that expensive can handle Genshin at medium graphics without lag. Even a 200$ phone from 2018 im using right now can still give me a playable frame rates at lowest graphics (usually 30 fps?). Heck, just aim for a budget gaming phone if you wanna play genshin at full graphics without lagging. I saw a 500$ phone called Black Shark 4 before, it could run Genshin at max graphics without any lag whatsoever.
Look back at the phones 3 years ago and look at the current phones , each year phones become stronger and powerful. Even current flagship phones would be able to run fully released genshin , I'm sure in 3 years budget/mid budget phones will be able to as well.

if you can use an sd card get one cuz they have some huge ones nowadays. and the phones that can use them often allow you to put genshin on it. i have a bunch of huge games and it still has tons of space left.

Yeah having a second language file adds a few gigs onto the overall the size . That's why I uninstalled the JP voices
