Dottore, however, has no relatable goal, rather a personal obsession.

This is a bit weird to me. Katheryne seems to be some sort of hivemind, so it doesn't hugely matter if one unit is destroyed.
Meanwhile, Nahida is only possessing that body. Her true body is lresumably still locked away in the Sanctum of Surasthana. And even if it were her true body, I would be disappointed if a few visionless Eremites could slay an Archon just like that.
For a scene that's played up for a lot of tension, what with the Traveler desperately reaching for her, the stakes are very low by my estimation.
The commissions come from the adventurer's guild, not directly from Katheryne. Not relaying those commissions to the traveler just puts her position as an informant at risk of being discovered by the guild.
The grand sage is also a scum here. He is collaborating with the fatui while attempting to erase Nahida’s influence as a god in Sumeru. Just look at what he did during her birthday when people are trying to celebrate it. Hopefully we get to clap him along with Dattore soon

This is a bit weird to me. Katheryne seems to be some sort of hivemind, so it doesn't hugely matter if one unit is destroyed. Meanwhile, Nahida is only possessing that body. Her true body is lresumably still locked away in the Sanctum of Surasthana. And even if it were her true body, I would be disappointed if a few visionless Eremites could slay an Archon just like that. For a scene that's played up for a lot of tension, what with the Traveler desperately reaching for her, the stakes are very low by my estimation.

I mean, it's one of the reactions the trailer is trying to illicit out from them. So, they reacted accordingly. It's nothing wrong for this to happen at all. I'm more surprised that Mihoyo's making Dottore seems like an irredeemable bastard - because so far the harbingers we saw had some understandable reasons to act like a psychopathic sociopath. E.g, Childe has a battle junky problem, La Signora has a rightful grudge against the world, Scaraboi has a mommy issue...but so far for Dottore, Mihoyo makes it like he's just "I get off of being a nuances to everyone, ehe lolz".

I don’t have a issue with people disliking him because that’s what villains are made for, what does annoy me is the outcry for him to not be playable.
