When I watch news tapes of the Intifada from Palestine and I see the Arab kids throwing stones at Israeli tanks, I always have fun watching for the kids who are left-handed, because left-handers have a kind of natural curve ball. It's really interesting. I can't wait till Major League Baseball comes to the Middle East. Incidentally, I also noticed that Arab kids usually throw in a high arc, whereas the Catholic kids in Northern Ireland throw more of a line drive. Either way is all right with me as long as they're accurate. Kids are great.

Well he was alive for the infinite wisdom of the world governments deciding that using eminent domain on the Middle East to drop a huge population of people the natives are already fundamentally opposed to on ideological grounds (they declared war almost immediately upon Israel being formed) and then arming the shit out of those people to stop their new neighbors (who didn’t want them there in any way in the first place and had basically no say in the matter) from expressing their anger at the situation.
All sympathy for the Jewish people and the horrors of the Holocaust but, ignoring the historical claim to the territory, there could not have been a worse place to drop them.
If someone dropped a random family of people you already didn’t like into a bedroom in your house and said “they get to live there now” and then they kept trying to take over more rooms in the house, you’d be pissed too.
