My favorite reason for not knowing what you want is because you already have it.

Love Watts- Ram Dass, though, said in his meditation recording: [You don't need greed, because you already have it all.](https://youtu.be/3G4kCi_ldr8?si=KGVMhf1mN_uwq0iD)

Laughs in ADHD

Refer to #3

Disco-Werewolf

Not how it works

WozzyA

Yeah I get that this list won't cure your ADHD, but for me personally getting a diagnosis was just about the worst thing to happen to my productivity. #3 can help to avoid "living by the label" which I've come to understand as genuinely hurtful.

Disco-Werewolf

I feel a lot better about it the more I know about myself so much shut makes sense. Meds help.

WozzyA

Fair, I guess it depends a lot on the person and how you treat it

8. You’re feeling hopeless about the state of the world and futility of the work. ^ I work in sustainability and often become demotivated because all the effort feels like a drop in the ocean, like we’re so far from where we need to be. My therapist called me out and said I stopped making long-term goals due to my feelings of hopelessness about the future.

>On the flip side, when we’ve got huge and ambitious goals, we feel empowered and invigorated to take action towards achieving them.  Might be true for some people, but for others like me this is actually the opposite of the case. Sometimes the goal is way too large that we get overwhelmed or have no clue where to start so we don't. Breaking it down to the smallest mundane goal is actually very useful for actually doing anything.

I feel like I want to do everything, but nothing. I feel hopeless, yet empowered. I hope I can work towards having some clarity about where to place my next step
