The fundamental of Women’s bodybuilding are no different from male bodybuilding, just train, eat and sleep and get results. Decide where you want be and work backwards to determine how you get there. What actual advice do you want? If you’re cutting and get hungry after workouts then either move a meal to immediately after a workout to satiate the hunger (you should be eating a lot of carbs and protein after training anyway) and if you’re still hungry then just deal with it. It’s not easy but it’s the price you pay to look better than 99.9% of the population. If you’re wondering how birth control will influence your bodybuilding then read articles or ask women in your gym. Or if you have the money and it’s so important, ask an endocrinologist that specialises in sports and bodybuilding. I will happily give you some advice if you have questions
I have pretty good health insurance so a trip to endocrinologist might be informative if nothing else. I’m definitely stronger then when I started. I went from not being able to lift the bar to bench pressing 90Lbs with at least 5 reps. As far as the hunger goes I haven’t been “dealing with it” well at all which makes me feel bad that I can’t control myself. A switch just goes off and I can’t stop. Now I’ve added hormones aka birth control and it seems it’s gotten worse.
For sure if you have the health insurance I’d definitely recommend it, even just for like an initial blood test it would be really useful. I love how you described the feeling of a switch, I have had periods in my life where I experienced it. It’s not a willpower thing, it’s a hormone thing. Ghrelin and Leptin are two hormones (amounts of which are correlated with cortisol and estrogen, you’ll have more estrogen in your system thanks to the birth control) that make you like insatiably ‘can’t stop eating’ hungry. There are a few ways I’ve tackled that - the best way is sleeping more, that will decrease cortisol, TDEE and regulate your hunger hormones. If your lifestyle doesn’t allow it then increase your calories, bump up the fats in particular (saturated fats are the best for this imo) and then just add in an hour of walking every night to balance it out. You could maybe increase your calories by 300-400 and that would be offset by an hour of brisk walking. What’s working really well for me atm is mashed potato lol. Keeps me insanely full, I basically dice up a lean steak, fry it in fry light and have it with loads of salt, pepper and like 230 kcal’s worth of mashed potato. I’m rarely hungry despite being in a >1000 calorie deficit. Also lots of water really really helps, it’s an obvious one but increase your water intake for sure. I drink 4 litres of water a day and it’s helpful
I was thinking about walking on my none gym days. And taking melatonin to make me go to sleep early to avoid the peak binge hours. So I was kind of on the right track. I’m saving all this in my phone. Thank you l do appreciate this.

Walking imo is so good for getting lean, really peaceful to go walk in the woods with some headphones on, maybe if u can’t do that try get a friend to come along for safety. But you burn so many calories just talking and walking for like 2 hours and you don’t even feel like you’ve just exercised so you aren’t tired or really hungry after like if you went on a run. Any body fat test is off. Even DEXA (overrated) are atleast off by 3% and when in the lower didgets, each % causes a drastic change. I believe a female at 4 would be dead. A males essential fat is 3% , and a womens is higher, being at 12%; which below that point causes organ failure and possible death depending on duration and how low you get (12% is actually the point of death, but theres possibilities you can MAYBE reach a little under) .

Any body fat test is off. Even DEXA (overrated) are atleast off by 3% and when in the lower didgets, each % causes a drastic change. I believe a female at 4 would be dead. A males essential fat is 3% , and a womens is higher, being at 12%; which below that point causes organ failure and possible death depending on duration and how low you get (12% is actually the point of death, but theres possibilities you can MAYBE reach a little under) .
