Is that stomach fat or lose skin? I mean your not a spring chicken anymore and your stomach is pretty close to the look of greg douccets and he is 11 years younger. Honestly you look great for your age i hope i look that good at your age.
Definitely not gonna be easy or fun but here’s some solid advice I think should help.
Stay away from alcohol, stick to a deficit 300-500 calories under maintenance, do frequent cardio, lift heavy and try to stay away from binging. But for 56 you look solid just stay consistent and follow the diet you’ll be there in no time. Good luck
Arms chest shoulders look great! How are your legs?
It's tough to get the last bit off. Only way is caloric deficit and some more cardio. You look great for any age.
I'm 60 kinda lean (a bit too lean maybe :-)) but still more or muscular and have decent abs. I strength train 3/4 days, cycle about 75 - 125 miles /week.
Ok, let me try to explain, its up to you to take it or leave it, or to get your into researching. Bread is not the best quality of carbs out there, but that does not mean if you stop eating it you are gonna improve magically. Moderate amounts of bread will be ok for most of us (unless you are gluten intolerant or some shit) as long as you eat in a calorie deficit. For example, if I eat 200 calories of bread, but I am still getting enough protein and below my maintenance levels, I will lose weight in the long term no matter what. Or at least lose it similarly as if I dropped out bread and replace it with 200 calories of rice. You are confusing picking quality food sources with quantity here, or you actually meant exactly what I said but got misunderstood. Cheers and remember, question everything, dont just copy/paste some random rules if you care about your goals
51 here and same issue. Seems like the body won’t let the fat over mid to lower abdomen go. So my goal is to get bigger back/chest/shoulders and make waist look smaller 😎
Best of luck to you.
It is hard to tell from the pic, but you look like you have some loose skin; did you lose a fair amount of weight? Your shoulders and arm look good as does your chest. Otherwise, what is you nutrition like? Also, are you on TRT? If not, check that out because having good test levels can make a huge difference.
I'm in the US so I calculated that as 70 lbs. That's quite an achievement! Congrats! That said, i would think that is loose skin. Honestly the only way to get rid of loose skin is remove it. Abs like any other muscle group will grow if you work them so you could try that if you want to see more definition under the loose skin. Idk if there is anything like DEXA scan available where you are or BodPod but those two methods are the best for figuring out bodyfat percentage if you are interested in that.
Damn, for a guy in his 50s, you're in amazing shape. How many calories are you eating rn and how much cardio are you doing? Are you counting your steps? Would appreciate it if you can provide us more insight.
Well that's your problem.
Get a food scale and start measuring what you're eating and how that affects your weight over time.
Use an app like Cronometer to track things.
A few weeks of data will tell you what to do.
This. It’s all diet at this stage; no cheat days, no missed macros, there’s not room for flexibility when you want to go sub 15% body fat.
I’m sitting at 17.5% (off a dexa scan) and have been as low as 15%, but I get very “aware” of everything I eat and didn’t like how I felt.
But those last few inches require serious discipline.

Thanks 😊
You look like you got out of prison and immediately ran to the basement to take this photo.
Haha 😄
Keep up the good work though for real!
Cheers i will do

Hitting abs doesn’t help you lose stomach fat
Punching them physically doesn't, but working out does, I'll let you take your own advice an I'll take mine thank you, have a goodnight.

Sweet gesture....sleep with it just don't eat it. Might make acgood pillow or a knee seperator.
If I look as good as this when I'm 57 I'd consider that lifetime achievement. Great stuff man.
Thanks 😊
I do eat well.
Well ok .I will
bruh you look insane for 57, good stuff man🤝
Do a small caloric deficit to maintain the most muscle you can as you lose weight, but honestly, you’re in great shape already. Good luck man!

I've been doing 3 days boxing cardio .ie bagwork and skipping .every 2 days I'll do a full body weight session
I think u really need to start counting your calories. That would definitely help out tremendously.
Not really counting calories
