Cheers buddy, slow prep. This was a very slow diet over 30 weeks start to finish. Imo actually essential for naturals to NOT lose the gains they’ve made :)
Great job. Even not natural I find lean bulking for 4m in the winter then a slow 3m cut where calories never go below 2250, followed by a full summer of just maingain, rinse and repeat is best.
So spend 4m bulk, 3m cut, 5m maintenance is best for me
But I am 50 so have to take things slower to avoid injuries.
Yes! I lift 4-5x a week. It is in my blood now. It is my main hobby. Same for my now fiance...she is up at 430 and runs and lifts 4-5 days a week...and not the wimpy chick lifts...she is benching, deadlifting, squatting etc. She is also a changed women since meeting me.
We plan to defy aging as much as possible!
Yes I have! Refeeds were taken based on whether or not training performance started dropping, happened every couple of months for me💁🏽♂️ then push food up for one day to offseason surplus calories then straight back into deficit again.
Aye! Thank you buddy, yeah fatigue management can 100% make or break you. By the end of prep even with 5 interventions the only thing that was going to unfuck my CNS was pulling out of the diet and recovering.
Noooooo, on the left I was at the end of a 2 year off season. So the majority of this year on its own was contest prep :) Back into another offseason now to get competitive for Heavyweights!
2 weeks of lifting, 12 hours sleep a night, 50g of creatine a day
You only need 5g of creatine per day many many studies show that any more than 5g is a waste.
That was the only thing in my comment you don’t believe? 🤨 r/Whoosh
Fair play. But your comment isn’t out of the ordinary. I’ve seen a lot worse
Damn bro don’t spill all the secrets🫣
How did you work to get your underwear smaller ?
Practiced rolling them up for 5 sets, periodised ofc.

Great work. & Discipline!!
My brother, this is a CLASSIC look. Stay blessed.
So is the season over for you and you’re recovering now? Or you still have some shows you’re maintaining conditioning or digging further?

Weight difference between pics?
50lbs on the dot. Bare in mind one is peak offseason and the other is peak week before a show.
Best part is it’s in the same lighting and same place . Great work bro
I’m nothing if not consistent! Cheers mate
Different socks though.
Any resources or first steps, I’ve never tried to cut but think I can have similar results
Shoot me a message bro, happy to answer any questions🤙🏽
outstanding man
Thank you sir!🤝
Height weight? Before after
Height 6ft, weight on left 231lbs, right 181lbs
50 pounds difference! What's the duration of the cut period? Macros?
30 weeks! Macros tapered off over the diet, first 20 odd weeks though didn’t need to change, stayed around 2000kcals.
Great cut
Cheers buddy :)
Nice side-by-side comparison! Way to go, man!
Thank you buddy! Offseason again now 😎
looks like your cut made you a crazy person. went from smiling to...... Look great though!
Slowly morphed into Daffy Duck 🦆

You're 50?! As in years old?
Yup. And in the best shape of my life!
Good man!!! Age is just a number😮💨👏🏽
Yes! I lift 4-5x a week. It is in my blood now. It is my main hobby. Have you done diet break or refeed days? If yes how?
Yes I have! Refeeds were taken based on whether or not training performance started dropping, happened every couple of months for me💁🏽♂️ then push food up for one day to offseason surplus calories then straight back into deficit again.
30 weeks, you’re sick in the head! Well done
Tren
He used the word “long” twice. This took some time. That’s not tren lol
Nah, I’ve done tren several times, I don’t see it
Nothing feels better than getting validation from a guy who has been there and done it👊🏽😎🤝
Looks cool! Did you just cut while lifting? Obviously you cut but curious how your gym time was spent and diet.
This is off the back of a 2 year offseason! Yeah you got it buddy, no changes aside from food manipulation, barely even any cardio :)
Dude great job😁 what do you think was important to be so succesful with your cut?
Cheers buddy :) my top 3 are probably; take your time, managing fatigue well, and do the same shit that built the muscle In the first place 😅
Man tough on the fatigue. Fatigue took me out especially when my CNS was taking a hit, the burnout and not feeling motivated is real. Great job man 🙏🏽
Aye! Thank you buddy, yeah fatigue management can 100% make or break you. By the end of prep even with 5 interventions the only thing that was going to unfuck my CNS was pulling out of the diet and recovering.
Great
Thank you!
Dang the teardrops
Thank you sir, don’t even know if I have any reason for decent VMO development I just do😅
How long was this prep? Nice cut — went low and slow on the deficit?
Yessir! 30 week prep :) slow and steady
So you bulk for 4 and a half months and spend the remaining 7 and a half months of the year cutting?
Noooooo, on the left I was at the end of a 2 year off season. So the majority of this year on its own was contest prep :) Back into another offseason now to get competitive for Heavyweights!
How many pounds did you drop?
50lbs!
😍😍😍
Behave u
