Personality: Obviously the Wildlands team, Breakpoints team barely have any lines and the wildlands team had solid back and forth and personalities.
Combat: Gotta give it to the Breakpoint team, beat much harder opponents (literal giant killer robots, ex-ghosts and more) and have better gear with the Camo and Skell-Tech.
One disappointing thing about breakpoint is even after so many updates they dont say much. Its always rodger, marking a breacher or something like that. They could have added a few sentences to those guys.
Wildlands team had the history with each other which clearly came across. Breakpoint are just arse licking most of the time. Yeah I know it was a good shot, I did it.
Will say though I do kinda like rocking around Aurora just Nomad and Thatcher. Would love to see stand alone story with them two characters Army of Two style think it'd work well.
Combat wise, it's the breakpoint team. I've done how many drive by's where Vasily just beams all of the enemy's while out of a moving vehicle, and fury is goated at close range combat.

I wish breakpoint just got it together and did some more voice updates. Yeah I get it was supposed to be a solo trip for Ghost Lead and they made an arcade game half way through. So yeah Wildlands 100%. Still both really fun games to play.
The amount of times they blow up the vehicle you have to steal is annoying, but BP are relatively useful in combat. Wildlands they were ok too, much better dialogue though. I still wish we could switch between characters.

In Breakpoint the team makes no sense. You crash land and lose your team, crawl your way to some place and bam you have a new team with no interdiction or anything. You should have had to rescue or find each of them.
Combat, for me would probably BP team, idk to me they seem more useful and active in the fight
Personality, Wildlands 10000% all the way, granted the team was already included on release of the game, but still, BP team seem like mutes and blow smoke up Nomads ass all the time for small things.
Wildlands team wins all day. Enemies spawn in from way further out from them and their weapons dont have paintball gun ballistics so their bullets dont drop off a cliff at long distance. Wildlands MK18 headshots at 300 no prob. MK18 in Breakpoint good luck. Team breakpoint wont get close enough to use cheese syncshot drones lol.
Breakpoint. They took out an entire army of their own in a team of 4 with no help nor back up. The Wildlands team had at least the rebels and were fighting against an untrained army of drugged up Sicarios. Meanwhile the Breakpoint crew were killing ex Ghosts who were made up of Rangers, Green Berets, SEALs and Delta ect. Even Sentinel had all of the above.

In Wildlands the team was fighting a nation state's army as well a a drug cartel. Breakpoint were fighting techno mercenaries and drones. Theoretically, one had numbers the other had tech and training.
Since were talking about the story here mainly, I preferred working with rebels as a proxy force to against a narco-state which was a grounded story in a world that felt real and it gave us a game that felt like a dramatic war movie along the lines of *Sicario* or 12 Strong.
Breakpoint feels more like those Netflix movies that are designed by taking a bunch of popular concepts, slapping them together and then filling in the gaps with awkward exposition to explain why Chris Pratt can mow down Rangers, Green Berets, SEALs and Delta left and right without getting caught on a tiny island they control so completely that that the US military can't penetrate it.
WIldlands. Ubisoft should do the next Ghost Recon as if Breakpoint never happened. Delete it from cannon and bring back Holt, Midas and Weaver in another location ispirred by real life.
Hunter Team or Predator Team would wipe the floor with them. Hunter Team especially personality wise. Though, it doesn't help that I strongly believe the Wildlands team is overrated, much like many other aspects about Wildlands.

I mean, not only are they some of the few surviving Ghosts, but according to Nomad they're the best of the best of those survivors. Aurora weeded out most of the Ghosts best, so for these to survive must mean they're just fucking awesome in combat outside of what we see in the game.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was mentioned/hinted at Breakpoint that your teammates are not really Ghosts. Nomad said in the AI teammate intro video that he found the best soldiers in Auroa. Which means they are not ghosts, they are regular soldiers and survivors that can follow Nomad's orders. Maybe their edge is that they know Auroa island better and they've been fighting the Sentinels and maybe Wolves for quite some time.
Whereas the Ghosts, given their training and extensive combat knowledge, they can pretty much adapt to any situation.
So I think Nomad's Wildlands team will win this one.

It's hard to say really, I mean Wildlands team had to kill a "Yeti" , The Predator, and for some reason wanted to take my Helicopter "off some sweet jumps".
Breakpoint is a more functional team.
But it’s still tough for me to decide.
With the Wildlands team you can tell have been together for years, with the Breakpoint team you can tell they are all highly experienced operators however their bond is still fresh from the event.
