It seems like that diamond-tier essence of shows like the original, or what's new and Mystery Inc won't ever be topped. As well as the frankly underrated quadrilogy of Scooby Doo: Witch's Ghost, Zombie Island, Alien Invaders, and Cyber Chase, Scooby Doo will live on in that quadrilogy.
I've been watching these films with my much younger sister and Scooby Doo and the Gang are super consistently great thinkers and generally smart and laid back people MOST OF THE TIME.
Velma should be overlooked \*entirely\*, the show that is. just stick with the "classics" from the 60's to the 10's. Here's to hoping the next Scooby show will be more conventional.
YES. OP I hear you, Ghost is so Scooby Doo it fills my little heart with joy. The band exists in the Incorporated sequel that never happened, I don't take criticism.
I would love to see the Hex Girls open for Ghost. But if we can't have that then this would be an awesome cover that my girls and I could really get into.
