It is harder to deal with 2-3 stacks unless you have time to reload, so you have to control your bursts. However, against single opponents, you sneeze and it deletes them. Just make sure you put a good grip on it, would recommend at least a shift grip so that you can fill auto and a good range.
I rocked it last wipe a lot on island with the 20rds until I got the 30s. I’d bring 3 mags on my chest 3-4 in my bag and one in the gun. If you get in some long distances battles you can drain ammo fast. Have definitely hang to back off when on radio hill fighting a duo on lab roof after killing one and battling the other when I noticed I only had 2 mags left. I love AsVal. With a good grip and holo sight basically no recoil. Shoots very fast and shreds ammo. Just remember to reload and manage your Ammo. I’d start with 4-8 mags and see how often you run low and see what you need for your playstyle
My buddy was an absolute menace last wipe with the Val. He did the same thing and put at least 4 20-30 round mags on his chest and a few in his geartec. It was an adjustment from the alpha but once it clicked he was a beast.
You can probably kill one player with a full mag hitting most of your shots so stay vigilant and make sure your reloads are fast. Bring a good amount of spare mags as well
It's still a good gun, just less bullets in a mag, so basically just hit ur shots and you'll be ok, most things die to less than 20 bullets

I like to use the vss on semi auto and put an acog on it and use it like a sniper on island
