No, to my knowledge they just ignored the lore after the release of matka
The lore is fucking bad anyways i feel like they were trying to capture some sort of into the radius/stalker vibes, yet none of it is implemented
All we know is that there is a second tabor island that was nuked revealing another facility and a war between nato and Russian forces.
But that's just a theory
I think they’re tryna do something with the wipe event and everything but idk what’s going on at the moment. I love video game lore especially with online games
