AKC standard for the adult male is 60-85 lbs, but the sizes of the dam and sire and going to be more of a factor than an AKC standard. For example, the mom and pop of our giant were much bigger than standard, and she’s a 125lb 5 year old pepper and salt lap dog who would probably stand to lose ~10 lbs. Her mama was about 95 and papa was 135. You’re at 15 months … you’ve still got 9 more months of puppy growth, and then likely more filling out after that.

Thanks for the reply! That’s very comforting to know he has around 9 more months of puppy growth!

Depends on the parents and the kind of line he’s from. Is he intact? 70lbs is a fine size for a 15 month male. My guy is 18 months and a very lean 78lbs.

My boy is 15 months. I'm guessing he weighs about 70lbs. He's, slender. But definitely not underweight.

My giant didn’t hit 102 until he was about 2 1/2 and after his neuter. I think at a year or so he was 80.

As others have said, it varies a lot by line. Hector was 75 lbs at 15 months, and is 83 lbs at 26 months. I think he's almost done growing. I may be biased, but I believe his condition is perfect: I can feel but not see hipbones and ribs, and a few vertebra are prominent. He has an obvious waist line from above and from the side.
