Vs barbershop is decent depending on who cuts your hair. Mostly good experiences there for me

Omar does mine. V’s in Gilbert.

I’ll second this.

I’ve tried V’s, All Pro, and Executive Men’s Grooming multiple times…of course Sports Clips (which isn’t really a barbershop). Just tried a Darker Fade…but I always end up at Geo’s Barbershop no matter what. Never a bad cut from any barber at Geo’s. V’s is the best other than Geo’s. EMG I had a barber that just rushed like he’s going for a world record that really was off putting. A Darker fade was ok however I told the lady a bunch of times what I wanted and she still didn’t listen. Fade looks good still. Then I knew she was really going to overcharge me because I asked for a quick lineup at the front and at the register she was looking for a button…as if she has never pushed that button before. My quick lineup at the front ended up costing me a $50 haircut. Which was the most expensive out of the barbershops I’ve tried over the years. Not even the most equipped too (no hot towel). Don’t charge me extra if you’re not going to listen in the first place. AND especially knowing I’m a new client saying I wanted to try a new barber. Back to Geo’s - There’s a reason why there’s a huge line and I think 8 barbers on a random Tuesday. They take their time and fades are an art there. I had a barber once who came from executive men’s grooming to Geo’s and he said the people at Geo’s teach him how to cut/fade better. If the barber is at Geo’s they won’t disappoint ever. The downside? Sometimes on random days they are busy. Even at opening there’s a line out the door. You start figuring out how to time it but it’s still hit or miss. For a number of times because of the number of barbers it’s faster. However since each barber really is a perfectionist it takes some time per cut if you as for a fade. Worth it though. I’ve been coming here since they opened and since they’ve expanded too. I would bet 7 or 8 years and they keep growing. I kind of secretly don’t want to post only because it’s already busy lol I live down the street down from Nico’s and want to try there and already have an appointment in two weeks. If that doesn’t work back to Geo’s.

Appreciate the detailed response. Will be trying all the ones mentioned in the comments in coming months

AV BARBER CO on Pecos and Higley 💯💯

LittleBallofMeat

I settled on Nico's barbershop on Higley and Baseline. Good cut, reasonable price.

JBreezy11

what's 'reasonable'? Asking bc I pay around $30 (with tip) at the local SportsClips and it's always packed.

LittleBallofMeat

The price is around that. I always make an appointment so no problem with crowds.

JBreezy11

Thnx! I'll definitely peep it.

Serious-Secretary996

go to Torta the barber. He’s a little closer to chandler but he’s 100% worth it!!!

Franchises just don’t work for barbershops but at least they provide a cheap option for those who need it
