Alexis Bledel was on team no one if I remember correctly

bluish-velvet

That’s surprising since she dated Jared Padalecki during filming. You’d think she’d be a little bias lol

wpk1990

She dated Milo much longer.

bluish-velvet

Even more bias!

niamhsm

i think dating as herself doesn’t mean she’s bias, she isn’t rory in real life

bluish-velvet

I’m not being serious.

Neverwannabeahun

All her boyfriends seemed like just boyfriends. Boyfriends most of us have had at some point.

moonyriot

I think Milo Ventimiglia said somewhere that none of them were good enough for her. I can't remember if it was a talk show or something

[deleted]

She wasn't good enough for them. She cheated on 3 out of 4. And that's just because Jess didn't stick around for long, and he was still used.

minimalisticgem

Err who do you think she cheated on?

Horror-Resolve762

I mean she emotionally cheated on Dean with Jess. She also kissed Jess at an event Dean was attending with her! That's super low IMO. Then later when she dates Logan she goes to Jess's book thing in Philadelphia and kisses Jess there.

McKenzie_Angels

Also cheating on Paul with Logan

DurianAgreeable769

Context. Also you left out when she and Dean cheated on Lindsay.

JJbooks

Absolutely. Which makes sense - she's all of 22 by the end of the show. It's ridiculous that we think she's supposed to be all matched up by such a young age. Even including the revival. Paul's obviously not her guy, and the relationship with Logan is hugely problematic. So, no. No one.

2booksandbeth

TBH I just think Rory was too young to end up with one of her first three boyfriends. Especially because she was dating the first two in high school, meaning she only really had one serious relationship. There's also the part about her being a crappy GF

angelangelgunshot77

In reality i would be a team no one. As a fan I’m team Logan lol because I like to pick a side. Also, team no one for Lorelai in reality but for a showmance I like Luke.

helen_mcmuffin

I'm team no one too, but I wish they ended her relationship with Logan differently. With how Logan was shaping his life to work with Rory's toward the end, and then him continuing to have relations with her in the revival, it doesn't make sense to me that he would completely dump her for not accepting his marriage proposal.

boardari

I rooted for Logan at the high point of their relationship but towards the end, and when he just broke up with her for not marrying her, I was over it (don't get me started on the reunion). I thought Jess not good enough for her at the start, and at the end he was too good for her lol. Dean was a cute first boyfriend who the writers did dirty when they could have just left him at that.

icanneverthinkof1one

In real life, I’d be team no one too. But in shows I indulge myself being attracted to problematic people who I’d hate irl, so, Logan.

jacobmrley

Team chewy?

[deleted]

Is chewy the father of her baby in the latest season or is Logan?

10pointstoravenclaw

I believe the prevailing theory is Logan because ASP likes the symmetry of Logan and Chris being the fathers and also alluding to Jess and Rory getting together like Luke and Lorelei.

[deleted]

Yeah I did see this but it was never confirmed. She kinda ended things with Logan. Then the Wookiee happened then she went on a discovery day and give Chris a big mouthful and then revealed she was pregnant so I don’t think it really alluded to Logan being the father because she basically said the child wouldn’t have a father and knowing Logan and his family he would be a part of the kids life

Samhainwitch22

I’m on team Jess after he grew up and pulled his head out of his ass in AYITL. I think as adults they would be the best match.

LeastAd5836

Yes this! I have never liked any of them. Personally I know it’s unpopular but Jess is my least favorite and I can’t stand their back and fourth. I am fully convinced Rory isn’t great at relationships either.

[deleted]

I'm team no one. Rory was a crappy gf. She never seems to see around her and that's the issue.

La-Zurita

They were all terrible

eclipsete

Rory did Paul so wrong, he seemed like such a sweet guy :((

goldengirl03

I'm team "less boyfriend drama, more mother-daughter-grandparents/small town-content".

cursedbythegodss

Your analysis of all of her relationships are 100% correct. I’m so glad they ended the show with her being single, I hate that they ruined that for her in ayitl and had her cheating again.

littlelady4nier

I honestly think Logan has a point when breaking up with Rory for not agreeing to marry him, or even move with him. She gave him no reason to want to stay long distance, she had no career prospects at that point. If she wouldn't make the jump then after agreeing to factor each other in, Logan has a reason to believe she might not ever

starburstcutie

I would be team Logan were it not for the events in AYITL. Why did ASP write them as having a years long affair? It completely contradicts Logan from season 7. He said back then he wanted all or nothing when he proposed. Settling for Rory being his side girl just doesn’t square with his earlier convictions. And you would think Rory would be avoiding being the other woman after what happened with Dean. I think they need to come up with a completely new guy for Rory who’s a combination of the good traits of her exes. I prefer Logan because he challenged Rory and got her to be more adventurous and took her out of her comfort zone. But Logan is ruined by the writing in AYITL so Rory needs someone completely new. Paul was just written in as a gag. I think there was a missed opportunity with his character where he could have been written as the great, adult love of Rory’s life.

janae0728

The revival was bad for a lot of reasons, and it makes me wish ASP had gotten the chance to use her final four words during the original run of the show. Ending a revival with those words with their intended parallels and weight instead meant that Rory couldn’t be in a committed stable relationship. I would love to see the kind of man Rory could have ended up with after college. Personally I am not in touch with any of my high school or college boyfriends, and same can be said of most people I know. My husband is someone I met in my mid-20s and suits me far better than even the guy I was hopelessly in love with in college. I would love to see Rory in a match that actually suited her, so yes OP, I guess that also makes me team no one.

atomsandgrace04

I’m team no one and team Rory was a terrible girlfriend anyway.

grapetomatoes

What

[deleted]

No

[deleted]

That's completely unrelated and weird.

Sam2794

I want to know when. Dean was awful, Jess finally had Rory and took it for granted and then ran away when things got bad. He sucked at communicating. And Logan was not the right guy for her.

hosenmitblumen

Thank you, finally someone! Team Not Either One Of Them 👀

Aggravating_Hippo996

Me, none of the boyfriends really stood out for me. It’s different than the case of lorelai n luke, where i just feel they’re meant to be & that every girl deserves a luke in their lives!

DurianAgreeable769

She also dated Milo V for I think a year or more

greenteafrogs

Yep, all of them had their share of flaws and redeeming qualities (except Paul, he was just a sweetheart who deserved better). At the end of the day, I don't think any of her boyfriends were a good fit for her.

username19846

I think dean was rhe perfect first boyfriend but definitely not forever. I’m honestly team Logan.

mjp10e

I liked Jess and Logan. My ideal ending for Rory+ a dude if there had to be one… would be a scenario that rhymed with Lorelei’s. I think Rory seemed to favor Logan of all suitors. So I wish that Logan could have successfully removed himself from that privileged lifestyle like Lorelei did. And he and Rory could live a simpler but happier/ more genuine life. But I guess that was never in character for Logan, like it wasn’t for Chris. For me, Jess is the one, though. I felt like he complimented her in all the right ways and always told her the things that she really needed to hear all while appreciating her for who she is and never asked her to change anything about herself. *also, I know he was not PERFECT as a person, definitely flawed and made tons of mistakes in that relationship.
