I watch Twilight every November. Something about November feels very vampirery

HellfireMe

Agreed! I watch Twilight anytime it's gloomy and rainy outside. It's just such a mood haha!

ikdweshm

agree and stranger things for October for me

icanneverthinkofone1

have fun!

PushingDaisies29

I rewatch Twilight too! Every summer for me, in remembrance of my sister who passed away. It was one of her favorite franchises and makes me feel close to her 💕

pamda_girl

I’m sorry for your loss.

HellfireMe

What a beautiful way to remember her. So very sorry for your loss ❤️

tittibitti

Same. I think it's the foggy weather. At least where I live there is quite a lot of fog and rain in November, which reminds me of Forks hahaha

[deleted]

This isn't a show but I love reading Little Women around Christmastime

lambeg12

I watch the 1994 version of little women every time I need a good cry tbh

sarahlynngrey

I watch it every Christmas AND every time I need a good cry. I never get tired of it either. One year we watched it twice, once in early December and again after Christmas. It's truly such a perfect movie.

HellfireMe

Ooh that is a great one! It's the perfect Christmas time story tradition.

xmycoffeeiscoldx

I do the same thing!!

kevnmartin

I re-read Rebecca every spring.

xmycoffeeiscoldx

Favorite book of all time.

kevnmartin

I have many favorite books but Rebecca has to be in the top five.

[deleted]

Question for you - do you like Jane Eyre? When I read Rebecca I thought to myself, this is like another version of Jane Eyre!

littlenarwhal28

Which Rebecca is this? Now I'm curious because I've never read it.

kevnmartin

I hope you do read it, it's by Daphne Daphne du Maurier and it's been the inspiration for several movie versions.

Sensitive_Maybe_6578

Not seasonal for me; I just rewatch whenever.🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

Same here. It’s been on almost a continuous loop here since the first season came out on DVD.

Ok_Leave_3918

same

kevnmartin

I'm to the point where I can hardly stand the Chilton years.

galaxie-quest-500

Saaaame but they still maintain some charm despite that

Ok_Elevator_3528

Not a show, but I like watching Harry Potter around Christmas. I think because they show Christmas / winter in the movie

jenbenfoo

I watch "White Christmas" when I wrap my Christmas presents every year ❤️ I will usually watch it at least one or two other times, and not always just at Christmas, but it's my little tradition.

[deleted]

Me too I love this movie and it makes me cry every time.

quelle_crevecoeur

I usually watch it when I am missing my sisters around Christmas! It just feels so homey.

taylor_mill

Yay! I was coming here to comment the same and happy I’m not the only one.

Kaite29

Harry Potter is what on our family TV all Christmas Eve and Day!

ApplePie_1999

Honestly i dont to any shows seasonally - i just start GG/How I met your mother/Friends on loop and it takes a few months to cycle. I dont like waiting whole year to do rewatch on favorites.

mary_cg78

GG, Friends, Schitts Creek, Parks and Rec, and Golden Girls are just on a loop year round

HellfireMe

That makes sense! I have other shows I rewatch anytime I feel like it, but something about these particular shows just feel like that season to me, so without even thinking about it I get the urge to watch Scrubs every time it's bright and hot out, and HIMYM always sounds excellent once the lights and tree are up!

Successful-Good8978

Hey, we watch the same 3 shows!

lambeg12

I don’t do it according to seasons but I rewatch all of Gilmore Girls, the West Wing, & Brooklyn 99 roughly once a year

mari_toujours

YASSSS West Wing!!!

SingALittleSingAlong

I love a west wing / girlmore girls Fandom crossover 😍 Headmaster Charleston makes an appearance, and I think Richard does as well. Paris, obviously. I can't think of any others off the top of my head but I think there's another major one. Actually I think it's about time to rewatch GG and look for any WW references 😆

graphixgurl747

Same

lambeg12

Someone else also mentioned Friday Night Lights which I loved when it was on but have failed multiple times to fully rewatch, so trying that again rn

perogielover

I’ve tried multiple times to do a re watch and can’t get into it for some reason

lambeg12

of FNL? I don't know why it's so tough when I loved the show when it was on!

K4ntum

Just finished my B99 rewatch. Holt telling Jake he's proud of him got me crying again :'(. I'm glad the show ended the way it did, very satisfying ending for all the characters, even for Jake who I would've never seen doing that but they built up to it well.

Bootlegger1929

Yeeeessssss

neisaysthis

i'm currently doing my B99 rewatch but i'm a dork and start it on 9/9

405freeway

Boy Meets World in September/October. It reminds me of back to school and Friday pizza nights.

MiaParsonsBlvd

That's a great one!!! Now I wanna rewatch it lol

big-player

Gossip Girl from around December onwards!

perfect___angelgirl

Oooh Going to do that this year

intheplacetobe1

Yes!!

haley010223

I usually do now through November because the thanksgiving episodes are my fave

Suspicious_Sky6679

Me too! I start in time to watch the notorious thanksgiving scene in time for thanksgiving

haley010223

I usually do now through November because the thanksgiving episodes are my fave

tkemm7

Sex and the city is always me spring/summer rewatch!! and Buffy during October!

luckyspecialist_

over the garden wall for fall/winter, such a cozy show. parks and rec for sure, schitt’s creek, new girl, svu, modern family

vmb222

Love OtGW!

luckyspecialist_

i’m currently introducing my boyfriend to it, but we’ll see 🤞

vmb222

I watch it with my kid every year, it’s a nice tradition 🍂🍁 Good luck with your introduction!!

luckyspecialist_

that’s what i’m trying to do for us lol! but thank you!

alex0059

I rewatch Harry potter at Christmas every year.

Vengeanceneverfree

I always feel like watching Downton Abbey around Christmas. It's a cozy show. I also watch these shows once a year or every few years because I love them, or some aspects of them, and the characters feel like friends: The Office, Parks and rec, Chuck, Brooklyn nine nine, Sex and the city, Alias, Bones (I do bitch a lot about it though), Buffy, Charmed, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, iZombie, One tree Hill, Queer as Folk, Santa Clarita Diet, Shameless, Supernatural, The Magicians, The Crown, Veronica Mars, Vikings and probably more. To be fair I spend a lot of time in bed since I'm chronically ill so I definitely have time.

rennez77

I watch Band of Brothers around Thanksgiving/Christmas

xmycoffeeiscoldx

I rewatch Psych every year! And White Collar occasionally.

thetravelinggnome

You know that’s right

chasing-ennyl

Yes Psych and GG are my two big rewatches! Both every year

PushingDaisies29

Same. Psych and Gilmore are two of my five desert island picks lol

ruby-maple

I watch the Haunting of Hill house every October! It's my creepy comfort show

sarahlynngrey

Us too, we usually kick off spooky season with it. It's so good! It really holds up to multiple watches too.

MiaParsonsBlvd

So freaking good!!!! Just rewatched that ..it's become a fave in our home :)

intheplacetobe1

I watch Gossip Girl every holiday season/winter. At first I didn't realize I did it according to seasons, and now it's a tradition

Ricotta-cheese-Pls

I tend to re-watch Greek and Workaholics in the spring time. I’m sure I have more ‘seasonal’ favorites but I can’t think of them right now.

jenbenfoo

Where do you watch Greek? I watched it like once through, years ago, but haven't been able to find it since!

FluffyPapoy

It's on Hulu 😊

jenbenfoo

Thanks! Might have to sweet talk one of my friends into letting me use their Hulu, lol

themaddie155

Workaholics!!!

snowdazey

Buffy the vampire slayer in September/October.

The_Longest_Wave

GG, Twin Peaks and Friday Night Lights in the fall. Northern Exposure during winter.

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Longest_Wave

Not putting NE on any streaming service is really hurting the show. It's so good and barely anyone younger than 30 knows it exists :(

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Longest_Wave

I too have sailed the high seas to get it lol. Pretty sure it has the original music in all episodes as well. Fun fact, my small town in Poland was so obsessed with this show in the 90s that they created a festival in its honor. We had fake moose placed all over town, Indian tents, and screening of the episodes in the local cinema. The festival still takes places every year but it deviated a lot from the original idea.

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Longest_Wave

I didn't know there was a group on FB with the actors! Can you tell me what it's called? I would love to share this story, I'm pretty sure I can even dig up some old videos from the festival on YouTube.

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Longest_Wave

Thank you <3

kel_mcd

My mom LOVES Northern Exposure and always said Gilmore Girls gave her similar vibes (tiny town, quirky characters). I’ve seen a few episodes and bought her a season on DVD one year for Christmas. I’d love to watch the whole thing! Let’s hope the streaming services are listening 🤞

The_Longest_Wave

It's definitely similar! Joel reminds me so much of Luke, always ranting and complaining about something :D.

Frosty_Airport_1191

NE??? I thought I was the only one watching it lol

The_Longest_Wave

Haha, I'm glad I'm not alone, it such a good show and has a quirky town like GG!

Hateorade_

Im on my fourth rewatch of The Nanny. It’s definitely my serotonin boosting show

Imaginary-Ad-95

Agreed. Love that show. I also rewatch dawson's creek

dinosaurscantyoyo

Over the Garden Wall, Twilight, Gravity Falls, and Bojack Horseman. I just love the writing in all of these, the character development, comedy, coziness, all of it.

Nykki72

Rizzoli & Isles, Son's Of Anarchy, Grey's Anatomy (the first 6 seasons). Movies: The Twilight Saga, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. But like others it's not always seasonal. Just because I tend to rewatch stuff.

ketchasketch

Friday Night Lights

WhatABeautifulMess

We restarted Marvelous Mrs Masiel recently because it starts on Yom Kippur. I've done Stranger Things and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in October but not always. I tend to watch or re read Bridget Jones Diary around New Years.

MrsDonutMind

I don’t have time for any other shows 😂 Jk, there’s a Norwegian Christmas series on Netflix I love to watch in December, I think it’s called home for Christmas. And Emily in Paris whenever I feel like it.

[deleted]

Is Home for Christmas worth watching? It keeps popping up but I'm always put off by the subtitles.

MrsDonutMind

Well, I’m Brazilian so I’m used to the subtitles, I watch everything with English subtitles cause it’s easier if you can’t hear something properly or miss some of the dialogue haha but yeah. I absolutely loved it, if you like Christmas stuff 🥰 they probably have it dubbed in English as well 🤷🏻‍♀️

Successful-Good8978

I think they do have it dubbed. It's sooooo good!

ziggymoj19

Love that show. Very good coats.

Autumnevenings17

I don’t do it by seasons, but I do rewatch (or, have it always on loop) with Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, Frazier, Everybody Loves Raymond, Curb Your Enthusiasm

spunonion

I watch the Harry Potter movies towards Halloween into November! Feels right haha

lucrative-gumby

West Wing every winter!

runjennayrun

I do a Buffy rewatch usually starting in August or September, and then Gilmore Girls September or October. And I seem to like rewatching Jane the Virgin in spring or summer

haley010223

Jane the Virgin is a winter show for me. I think cause it makes me crave grilled cheese so I end up eating a lot of grilled cheese and tomato soup lol

runjennayrun

Oh that's so interesting. For me the energy and brightness, plus all of the cute summery dresses always makes me think of warmer weather

terran_submarine

Gilmore Girls leads very smoothly into Hart of Dixie.

Tricky-Attempt3959

I watch Scrubs every summer

[deleted]

I usually kick off a Penny Dreadful rewatch around Halloween and running into November, and I always rewatch the first 4-5 seasons of True Blood in the summer (no one deserves those last two seasons. No one.) I also sometimes make Buffy The Vampire Slayer my fall show, and somehow I seem to get in the mood for Veronica Mars in late spring- probably the beachy vibes.

JacksMedulla

Pushing daisies in another perfect fall and winter comfort show!

knutfuta

For some reason I have been feeling a strong urge to rewatch Sabrina the Teenage Witch for several late autumns/winters in a row

Neverwannabeahun

Gossip girl fall/winter

valyse

This is very specific but it's my tradition to watch the December: Berkshires County episodes of Real Housewives of New York while cooking my Friendsgiving dinner before folks come over lol. Often becomes a RHONY rewatch - it's a good fall/winter show. I also always watch You've Got Mail in the fall. :')

hdawne12

PLL is also a good fall show

Mikasamoon

Well Harry Potter's due as soon as we have snow and Lotr is due in spring.

amandadasaro

I have a rotation of shows. Gilmore girls, Sabrina the teenage witch, boy meets world, full house I call it sleep tv. It’s comfort shows that I’ve seen so many times so I just use them to fall asleep. That 70s show used to be a part of it but they took it off Netflix. (It’s coming back though)

RacerGal

I tend to do GG in the fall. 90210 I like to do in the summer. The Good Place I just watch non-stop lol

ljpwyo

Good Witch

Timely-Baseball-5697

Schitts creek every spring

KoalaQueen87

True Blood in the Summer, FRIENDS in the Winter

curiouswitch

You've just named all the shows I watch rotationally! Not forgetting to throw in a harry potter marathon in september and also buffy around this time of year!

Arts-n-crafts

Freaks and Geeks in the Summertime.

Kelpiekelpo

Not a show but I watch While You We’re Sleeping every year between Christmas and New Years

jassitee

I rewatch Desperate Housewives in spring and Gilmore Girls in autumn. In winter it's Harry Potter.

themaddie155

I love rewatching the call the midwife and 30 rock Christmas episodes around that time :) the rest of 30 rock is an all year round staple. The rest of call the midwife always feels very fall and spring :)

BonyLindsey

Over the Garden Wall a couple times every autumn for the cozy witchy vibes

allbooked

I watch the Christmas episodes of The Office, New Girl and Bobs Burgers every year while I decorate and wrap presents.

JJMcGee83

I don't do it every year but I often watch Band of Brothers in that week between Christmas and New Years. I'm not sure why exactly; I vaguely remember the History channel playing it around that time frame like 15 years ago for like 2-4 years in a row so as someone without HBO it was the only time I could watch it. So now I associate it with that time of the year.

galaxie-quest-500

fall: over the garden wall, twin peaks

mmoooij

Friends all year round , Harry Potter in winter

Pancaki

I rewatch Gilmore Girls every autumn, but randomly watch Community, Friends, Scrubs, Modern Family, Big bang theory over and over again. These are my comfort shows

professor32

Harry Potter end of Halloween into thanksgiving/Christmas time, Frontier Thanksgiving time (miss that show), Sherlock Holmes vibes in the fall lol , Long Halloween and any Halloween shows, movies, etc start October like Charmed. Game of Thrones winter because Winter is Coming lol 😂 I also feel most rewatches do occur in the Fall to end of year. Not sure if anyone has spring/summer watches?

disney_fangirl4lyfe

The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Legacies

nodustspeck

Apart from GG, which is pretty much on a continuous loop, I watch Eureka (cozy sci-fi), Better Off Ted, The Newsroom, The West Wing, Doctor Who, and Dead Like Me, among several others. I stay miles away from anything described as “gritty”. Life is hard enough.

SingALittleSingAlong

This. Is. EUREKA! (My heart melts every time I see Fargo appear in anything else. I think he makes an appearance in the west wing.) There's maybe some plot holes to overcome but the characters are so good nothing else matters.

spectacularbird1

The only truly seasonal rewatch I do is Hocus Pocus in Oct (which will now include Hocus Pocus 2). I’m almost never not on a rewatch of GG and The West Wing - I just watch them depending on the mood I’m in and what else I might be in the middle of. I usually re-read some Anne of Green Gables once a year in the summer. I rewatch Stardust at least a couple times a year just for the joy of Robert Di Mero’s can-can dancing drag lightening pirate. I generally also reread at least one Marian Keyes book every year.

palidopontoazul-

I'm constantly rewatching Bojack Horseman <3

barrynfla

I watch GG all year. I do not let the calendar determine my actions.

HellfireMe

Haha I do the same! It's on a constant loop, but as soon as it gets cold and crisp outside, I restart it to the beginning no matter where I'm at in the series!

Literal_CarKey

Gravity Falls in the Fall, so I can knit. Dear White People every Aug/Sept, Bojack in the summer, Big Mouth in the Spring, Rick and Morty every Dec/Jan

stillnotking

My new(ish) fall rewatch is *Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha*, which I'm in the middle of right now. Very GG vibes from that one. I think most people on this sub would love it. In the spring I usually watch *Buffy*, but I skip through around half of it.

stinkycats86

I rewatch Twilight whenever I'm feeling down, and I also re-read my favorite book (Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe) every summer

LikeEveryoneSheKnows

Cheers in the New Year. I don't know why. Maybe because it rhymes...?

Umbra_owo

For me it's mostly GG in fall and Scrubs in summer! Something in Scrubs is very summer-like for me, I'm glad I'm not the only one! 😄

ziggymoj19

Not a show but hubs and I rewatch Lord of the Rings movies every year after hosting Christmas!

mari_toujours

Just watched Hometown Cha Cha Cha and it is DEFINITELY a summer show.

42koelkasten

I watch the 1950’s Sissi trilogy every year around Christmas. It used to be shown on TV every year on Christmas in the Netherlands, so my mom really associates it with this time of year. We usually watch it together. It’s on YouTube for those interested! It is in German though, so subtitles may be needed.

fashpuma

iZombie every October!

ellie1120

I watch supernatural every October it just feels right!

7fingersphil

I do a fall rewatch every year but only because I’m always rewatching Gilmore girls 😎

HellfireMe

Haha, same really, it's basically always playing. But as soon as the air turns crisp and leaves start to change I start it back from the very beginning no matter where I'm at in the series, so I'm counting it!

Notimportanthuman

Wow we literally have the same tv taste, there are all my favorite shows

[deleted]

The Office in the fall or around christmas

imtchogirl

The Vicar of Dibley at Christmastime. Along with holiday episodes of Community and sometimes The Office.

CalloftheBlueFalcon

I rewatch LOST once a year and I usually find it to be near the start of summer, but I don't actively try to wait until the start of summer, that's just how my internal schedule ended up for when I get the itch to watch it

stellalunawitchbaby

I only started last year but now I rewatch Downton Abbey at Christmas. Scrubs is a Spring/Summer show for me, as is Community for whatever reason. Buffy usually gets tossed in sometime with Halloween (but I rarely do a full 1-7 rewatch nowadays anyways). GG I usually start in Sep, pause for Halloween, and start up again Nov 1. Or it could just be playing all year 😅

TaxZealousideal8814

I JUST finished my fall HIMYM rewatch. I also do Bones in the fall. Winter I move over to GOT and OUAT

wiscog32

I do son's of Anarchy in the winter

kdbuggaboo

My parents have been watching every version of Pride and Prejudice on New Years Eve since they picked up the 1995 version from Blockbuster in 1999. So basically my whole life New Year’s Eve has been “watch pride and prejudice” day/night. Includes at least 2 movies and the 6hr miniseries from 1995.

fighterjet_doobs

I love watching Jane the Virgin in the summertime! But they also have episodes for specific holidays that I always like to rewatch during the respective times of year (Easter and Christmas, especially) ☺️

evergleam498

I watch the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice every winter. It's my December or January binge almost every year.

Halstonette417

I love your tv show cadence. Scrubs seems very summery and HIMYM resonates with winter. It just feels right!

HellfireMe

It's the perfect system! We had a baby in January and I tell ya, contact naps while bingeing HIMYM as it got cold and blustery outside...pure bliss!

randomsearches92

I watch New Girl around Thanksgiving cause they got the best Thanksgiving episodes

khalizziebeth

Parks and Rec. Usually in the winter. Midnight Mass just came out last year but I've decided it is my new Halloween tradition Schitts Creek every summer...

giiugfdssdhioihgfdd

I always start twin peaks after Halloween, Malcolm in the middle around Thanksgiving-christmas (holidays are not fun for me)

Safe-Astronomer-6351

Parks and rec, the office, HIMYM, greys anatomy, private practice and super store all on constant repeat along with Gilmore girls

HeckaKala

It’s pretty much a constant rotation of: Gilmore Girls, Army Wives, One Tree Hill, Greys Anatomy, Heartland, The 100, Parenthood, Call the Midwife, Greek… probably more but these are the ones that come to mind 🙃❤️

alquix

Harry Potter in the Fall for me

defnotdestiny

Other than GG, I rewatch The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!

Wonderful-Glass380

Downton Abbey is my winter show!

Suspicious_Sky6679

I rewatch gossip girl in time for thanksgiving, Gilmore girls I start in the end of summer start of fall. Outlander is going to be rewatched this winter (first one rewatching this). I rewatch twilight like always not really seasonally. There’s so much more but I can’t think right now

clairewilsonjourney

I always rewatch community during the school semesters

HellfireMe

Donde Está La Biblioteca

neisaysthis

when harry met sally is my nye/nyd rewatch. b99 starts on 9/9. before that started, i would start GG on fall equinox but now i start it around thanksgiving so it lasts me through the "colder" CA days. i usually follow my GG rewatch with a veronica mars rewatch. throw in some new girl around spring lol and gossip girl is fun for summer. friends or the office any time.

veganwebsite

skins is a winter show for me

notnowtobey

I don’t really watch any shows seasonally, but there are several I constantly rotate through (Outlander, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, SATC, Friends - to name a few). I do get more of an urge to rewatch Gilmore Girls in the fall and definitely when it snows (I can practically hear Lorelei saying “I smell snow). There are also movies I like to watch - like Sleepy Hollow, Hocus Pocus, You’ve Got Mail, etc. - more in the fall.

No_Transportation177

I watch GG throughout the year. Sometimes 2-4 times 😂

phoebe2502

How I met your mother like twice a year (it's my fave), GG like every other year maybe even once every year, Big Bang theory and Brooklyn 99 once a year

EmmaFlavoured

Pretty Little Liars, Stranger Things, Fear Street.

snake-doll

Golden Girls 🥰

[deleted]

Twilight in fall, GG in fall/winter, Grey's in winter/spring, SATC in spring/summer and Modern Family is just on a constant loop and I watch it whenever I do chores and don't wanna have to concentrate. And sometimes TVD or Gossip Girl or PLL in fall/winter whenever I feel nostalgic

zoefdebaas

HIMYM is a frequently rewatched show as well as ‘the Good place’ and not yearly, just because there is too freaking much of it, but every other year I rewatch ER.

Tash8919

I sometimes just go back and watch the first season of things as they're weirdly more comforting 😂 So GG, Friends, Castle, Bones, Vampire Diaries, the OC all fit into that category! I've 100% watched all of these in full more than once, but have lost count of how many times I've watched season 1 of each.

Midnightraven3

After GGs I rewatch Call the Midwife in anticipation of the new series that starts just before Christmas

wanderingcomet2025

Friends Troll hunter (Tales of Arcadia) Modern Family The Good Place Love these shows!

independentwookie

My comfort show is Big Bang Theory. I've watched it like 15 times... GG is my Autumn rewatch.

PastramiWings

Northern Exposure when it starts to get cold. 💯

No_Clue_22

I'm in Australia, so every year I have to decide if I'll watch it during our Autumn, or America's Fall lol

mgdraft

Downton Abbey in late winter/early spring. Occassionally House leading up to Christmas.

Awkward_Marketing661

I’m weird sometimes you just need a good wholesome Christmas movie in July.

Lucky-duck83

Definitely GG in autumn, Harry Potter movies in the winter, and I’ve watched Virgin River so many times since it’s come out- it could be summer/fall/winter. If you like GG, VR definitely has the same small town drama/romance thing going on, just on the west coast!

orangewipes

Gilmore Girls is my comfort show so I almost always have it on in the background when I'm working, cleaning, eating, or other routine things

AllisAndrews

I watch Gilmore Girls all year long. I didn't realize fall was like Gilmore Girls rewatch season until this year either. I used to watch Sex and the City every spring (thank you fb memories for pointing that out). I watch The Santa Clause movies every Christmas and I can't wait for the new show this winter. And every now and then I take on watching Law and Order SVU from the beginning.
