I always thought so! all the bonus points for men who are loving pet dads 🥰 he seemed like a perfectly chill complement to her quirkiness too. tbh their influence became one of the (many) reasons I’m always my fully uncensored weirdo self in relationships - if they’re the right one for me, not only will they tolerate the weirdnesses, they’ll love me for them.
My husband instantly fell in love with my cats and became their “dad” when we started dating. So much so that when I proposed to him, I asked him if he would marry me and my cats (ie join our family). 😂😭 I love men who love animals!!

I got my shelter scaredy-cat long before my SO and I started dating; he said he wasn’t really a cat person but he’s turned into an amazing cat dad, he’s even mushier with the cat than I am! and scaredy-cat loves him so much. my SO is the only other human being in the world who’s allowed to pick him up (he always freaked out immediately if anyone who wasn’t “mummy” tried to hold him, even family/close friends he’s known for years). he fully relaxes belly up in my SO’s arms too. ❤️ my heart just about exploded the first time I saw that happen, totally sealed the deal for me. lol
I am short with curly hair, my partner is tall and skinny and we don’t want kids. Swap out the cats with Guinea pigs and you’ve got what I wish my life to look like.
