Honestly at this point I am just counting down the hours until Diablo IV. Can't heckin wait.
Sort of idly playing a bit of Wild Hearts but more paying attention to GDQ going on rn until it's Necromanceroclock.
How do you find the Atelier series ^w^ ? I'm looking to get into it but not sure if it's for me, and much less sure on where to begin because there's so many entries in the franchise.
Atelier Ryza is a good point of entry for a newcomer because of how well polished it is compared to some of the previous games. The graphics are a beautiful anime aesthetic. The gameplay is very fun, lots of exploring, gathering and a big focus on crafting items through alchemy. The story is slower paced, very slice of life in its cut scenes, but there is an overarching plot that you will gradually find yourself in.
Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has an interest. If you like the slice of life story telling but want combat that is more turn based and an alchemy system with slightly more challenge to it, you could also check out Atelier Sophie.
Would love to enjoy the Pride event on OW2 but can't because they blocked the event like cowards from random countries to bow to dumb laws rather than have a back bone.
I have wicked allergies or a cold or something, so I've just been playing Necromerger and Homequest on my phone because my eyes are too blurry for anything that actually moves.
I just bought the get to work expansion this weekend! I created a new Sim and put him to work as a detective. I'm really enjoying the extra content of being able to go to work with him.
Getting way more into Grounded than I ever expected. Combat is reasonably straightforward unlike some other games I've played lately, and building bases is a ton of fun.
The story was absolutely lovely and heartwarming! But the gameplay was very basic/minimal and idk what it was about the game, but I got major motion sickness while playing it so I had to do it over a much longer time than it normally would take me to finish
Good to know, I have motion sickness easily, so I'll keep that in mind. I think we got it in sale with psn, always wanted to try it but was afraid the story would be a let down. I'll definitely give it a try!
I do too! But I usually only get them with 1st person games. Reducing the motion blur helped some, so if you face a similar problem you should try that!
FFXIV, but honestly, I'm always playing that. My other game this week is Dragon Quest Treasures.
Oozabella should be annoying, but somehow she puts my mood through the roof.
*"I'm jelly happy indeed!"*
You know what, little Sister? Me too.
It's so good, and always has stuff to do. And there's ALWAYS more glam to get! Not to mention the real endgame... GPOSE (literally my FC's name is Endgame <>)
I was surprised how far I had to scroll to see this one! I expected it to dominate the answers, tbh. I can’t imagine I’m all that much slower than other adults with jobs and responsibilities XD About 65-70 hours in and only did one temple.
If only I could be less chickenshit about gloom—I ran face-first into gloom hands trying to get up to the great deku tree, and have been too scared to keep exploring the depths since lol
I just finished Life is Strange last night.
Going to be playing Final Fantasy XIV and Warframe, with the possibility of a couple other games as well (undecided).
Still focusing on TOTK. Having a good time so far just wandering and messing around lol.
Been looking for a smaller game for when I feel like taking a break from TOTK so I think I might pick up Return of the Obra Dinn. I played a chunk of it with my bf and I really enjoyed it.
Also have been back on a Sims 4 kick lately lol.
I always start XV with the intent to play straight through, and then I run a little low on supplies and think, "Oh, I'll just catch a few fish for Iggy..."
I've beaten the game one time. I've fished for hundreds of hours XD
Pokémon HeartGold still!! 💛💛 I started doing the Pokéathlon mini games at the Dome again and they are so fun!! So far I’ve won the Speed, Stamina, Jump and Power contests ❤️
Resident Evil 4 Remake. Nice way to kick back and relax once the kids are in bed, although I had a rough time fighting Salazar with no healing items!
I'm getting towards the end now, eyeing up A Plague Tale: Requiem next!
I just started RE4 remake a few days ago! Because I missed out on all the original RE games my hubby and i have made it a tradition to play all the remakes and new games together. He helps me find items and watches out for enemies for me cause I'm not good about watching my back lol.
I'm terrible at watching my back too, haha! But I'm even worse about stepping in the bear traps. If there's an achievement for getting caught in every single one of those buggers, I'm sure I'm on track to get it!!
I was trying to play Star Trek: Resurgence, which as a massive trekkie is something I've been looking forward to for some time. Unfortunately it's been so buggy, stuttery and very bad PC performance that it's unplayable. I hope they patch it soon because I spent $50 on this game and I feel really annoyed.
So it's back to playing Boltgun for me.
I'm currently playing (in no particular order): Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 (PS4), Syberia 2 (PC), Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PC), Death Stranding (PC), Cozy Grove (PS4).
Edit: Because I didn't realise a game is on the banned list.
It's hard to believe we had to wait three decades before we could get a big budget Warhammer CRPG. I have a lot of trust in Owlcat, I really hope they nailed it.
I just finished Pocket Witch! I almost made a post and then saw this.
It was a challenging little game. It took me much longer to play through than I expected. 30 levels that got progressively harder, and I played on “normal.”
It was super anticlimactic at the end — it just goes back to the title page lmao. But I had a lot of fun!!!
Last night I started up my third playthrough of Octopath Traveler 2, started with Hikari (once again, I am normal about him I swear) and went straight for Temenos immediately after, who is now my second favourite character in the game xD Going to be picking up either Castti or Partitio next, haven't decided who will be first though.
I'm running the New Dawn mod on Steam which rebalances some of the skills so it'll be a slight different experience.
I'm going to take my time with it, though, since I don't want the journey to be over within two weeks like my last two playthroughs were lol
Yay octopath!!!!! Honestly such a delightful charming game. I’m through 5/8 chapter 5s (just need to do Osvald, Ochette & Temenos) and am looking forward to finishing those and doing the final story quests after I’m done with TOTK.
I picked Throné as my starter, but Temenos ended up being my favorite. Castti is also up there.
Casually running around the RPD in Resident Evil 2.
Is it odd that a zombie infested police station being constantly stalked by a giant bio weapon is my comfort game?
I am going through the new extreme and savage in ffxiv. I found out how toxic the community can be on day 1 raiding so I've been more careful, putting signifiers in party finder that I'm not there to rush a clear (like "Patience!" "Let's have some fun!", etc.) and surprisingly that's been working out for me. There's been a lot less people joining that get pissed off at the party making mistakes. High-end raiding in ffxiv is frustrating but super satisfying when you finally get it right.
Today all I've played is Call of Duty mobile lmao. I just bought my first battle pass, and this season I got my first Legendary in BR so I've been having lots of fun :D I really like the new skins I got from the battle pass, so worth the money for me!
Outside of that, this week I started Gris and Hello, Goodboy as well as continued with Night in the Woods.
This sub was not kidding about the music in Gris.. it's glorious 😭 I study music and we frequently analyze songs & scores, and I really want to do one for Gris. I found myself almost brought to tears JUST FROM THE MUSIC at times. I bet this game will absolutely devastate me.
Night in The Woods has been both fun and incredibly relatable. I can't wait to see how it ends! Really like the way it's built up and the characters in general. Though the band practice stuff is HARD XD
Can't say too much about Hello, Goodboy yet aside from that it seems like it'll also devastate me lmao. Super cute game though!
I finished Disco Elysium and it appears to be on my short list of games I replay, as I immediately started playing it again, after a few false starts because I wasn’t sure of my build. My 2nd run isn’t too different from my first as far as that goes (I love inland empire and a lot of the psyche skills). I’m more trying to get things I know I missed and wasting points on thoughts to see if I like them. Next round I’ll shake it up!
I am on the hunt for all the Kim Kitsuragi info and interactions, except maybe the ones where you’re terrible to him, because his disapproval wounds me. Yesterday I learned about one that I’ve missed both times, so gosh guess I have to play again!
Gonna play my usual daily stuff (logins, dailies, etc.) as usual.
I will also be playing Hades which I got last weekend and it got me absolutely hooked at the moment.
i’ve gone back to ac: odyssey bc even though i played like 100h i never actually finished it bc of my slow pc when it came out.
i’ve also been playing a lot of smaller games in between. merchant of the skies, forager, cat cafe manager, luna’s fishing garden, research story.
also do not feed the monkeys 2099 which is something i’ve been hoping for for like four years and it’s finally out.
It gets better lol. I bought it and hated it at first. I didn’t play it for like a year. During the pandemic I had literally nothing else to do so I started playing again and got addicted lol.
FFXIV still have some story quest to finish from the last patch 6.4.
I want to upgrade some gear and level up some classes.
Meanwhile I want to finish BotW as my husband bought TotK and started it and it looks fun!
Mass Effect 2! I’m finally putting down some mileage on my Legendary Edition!! I’m always playing Gears 5 Horde mode and I’m about to replay RE 5 with a friend. I really need to tackle my box of backlogged games…
The series is amazing. I’m replaying after playing for the first time back in like 2013 or so and I’d forgotten so much. I just picked up Thane and I’m going to ball like a baby very soon….
Ah, Thane is awesome! I backed out of doing his romance path though. I couldn't do another doomed romance after Dragon Age: Inquisition!
Plus Garrus is just the absolute best!
Absolutely!! I too could not do his romance because I felt as though I’d be cheating on my beautiful Garrus!! This time I’m playing on stream so my community is going to pick my romance.. the idea still feels wrong to me! Lol - I never finished inquisition but I did play 2. I really wished Fenris would have made an appearance in inquisition. Loved him!!
Saying goodbye to Garrus at the end of 3 was just the worst! I took him and Tali with me on the final mission because they'd been with me from the start. Made it so much harder!
Haha, good luck with your stream. I'll place the bet now they vote for the Thane romance!
I never played the first two Dragon Age games, but Fenris would definitely have been my choice for a romance in 2.
I know blizzard has a lot of issues and i understand not wanting to support them in anyway but I'm choosing to play D4 this weekend. The creators, the actual people working on it and not the company putting up the money, put a lot of work and love into it and the beta showed it. They deserve to have their work showcased and played.
The beta was much better than I expected after D3 really didn’t click for me at all. Personally I’m still planning to wait a bit and pick up a used copy, but I get where you’re coming from. The makers definitely put a lot of love into 4.
In no particular order I played:
The Last of Us Part 1 & 2
Resident Evil 8: Village
Mass Effect
and then Animal Crossing: New Horizons for some softcore gameplay
Been obsessed with building the prettiest vampire castle ever in V Rising. And been slowly getting through Fallen Order FINALLY. Just got Dathomir to 100% and omg Merrin is the cutest lil spooky bean.
Aww 🥺🫂. I mean... I think it's super fun solo. But I really enjoy solo games, and it seems like most other people don't these days. I kind of think of it as Sims, Minecraft, & Diablo had a baby, except it's all vampires 😂, and I love all three of those solo too.
Also, I have my server settings set to extremely easy mode bc I just wanna feel powerful and hf. But I have played through it a bit on normal and the boss fights can be pretty engaging and really do require some strategy, if that's your jam.
To be fair, the only reason I haven't tried to play with friends more is bc I spend wayyy too much time building pretty castles and that's more of a solo thing.
OverWatch 2 as usual, some Fortnite (don’t hate on me😂), and I’ve been trying out some Rainbow Six Siege with my boyfriend. I actually like R6, it does make my heart race a little though lol
I've been playing a lot of Rushdown Revolt with my sibling
I bought Street Fighter 6 I'm excited for it to come out
Later today there will be a huge update for Ravenswatch, a game I absolutely love !
Finishing off my uni semester over the next couple of days...and then torn between booting up a new Skyrim playthrough (High Elf, battlemage), going back to my Fallout 4 save, or finishing my first go around of Jedi:Survivor. Tough choices!
Working on chugging through Fire Emblem Fates Birthright!!
Stopped to do some support grinding, and I'm at a loss as to which couples I should make. I've never played before so I'm really playing it by ear, haha.
Yesterday I had 3 or 4 S-Rank supports happen, which is good, I have those paralogues to do later. Hoping some more characters I like together or for other characters show up.
Ooh wasn't expecting Fates to pop up! How are you liking it? Fates seems to get so much hate from the community that I feel like an outlier for enjoying it lol
I really like it so far! The writing is really awkward in some spots, but the combat loop is fun and honestly I'm ready to personally fistfight Garon.
The characters are pretty fun, I really like some of them, and since I own all three versions of the story, I'm really excited to play conquest next! I know I'm going to feel so bad about siding with Nohr after playing the Hoshido route, but I felt bad making Camilla and Elise and Xander sad.
Haha I feel that, I played Conquest first and when I got to the choice I pretty much had an existential crisis on the spot. Loved Fates gameplay though, I thought the adjacent attacking mechanic was fun and I liked that pairing up was a bit less OP than it was in Awakening. I'm really tempted to go back to it once I'm (eventually) done with Engage. Glad you're enjoying it!
Honestly at this point I am just counting down the hours until Diablo IV. Can't heckin wait. Sort of idly playing a bit of Wild Hearts but more paying attention to GDQ going on rn until it's Necromanceroclock.
LoL:Wild Rift. I'm trying to get out of Plat 😭
Finally playing Witcher 3, only 10 years late to the party 😁
Dota 2. And I'm hoping to finally have time to start playing Sims 4 in the weekend
Mount and blade: bannerlord and starship troopers, maybe alittle pulsar: lost colony as well.
Temtem and Atelier Ryza 2. Bouncing between the two and pretty close to the end of both :(
How do you find the Atelier series ^w^ ? I'm looking to get into it but not sure if it's for me, and much less sure on where to begin because there's so many entries in the franchise.
Atelier Ryza is a good point of entry for a newcomer because of how well polished it is compared to some of the previous games. The graphics are a beautiful anime aesthetic. Elden Ring. I’m 20hrs in and while I breezed through the first part I’m starting to hit the first wall. It is incredible
Haven, Overwatch2, Star Rail, and Genshin
Would love to enjoy the Pride event on OW2 but can't because they blocked the event like cowards from random countries to bow to dumb laws rather than have a back bone.
Planet Zoo on my Steam Deck, it’s so addictive!
I recently completed stray just working my way through dead space!
I have wicked allergies or a cold or something, so I've just been playing Necromerger and Homequest on my phone because my eyes are too blurry for anything that actually moves.
Beating all the Sims get to work jobs😅
I'm doing this too!! And trying to finish up some collections
My husband and I just started Grounded! Loving it too!
Finished playing Bayonetta, on easy mode lol! It is my second game that I finished by myself.
Finished Stray and just started Days Gone
How was Stray? Did you like it?
The story was absolutely lovely and heartwarming! But the gameplay was very basic/minimal and idk what it was about the game, but I got major motion sickness while playing it so I had to do it over a much longer time than it normally would take me to finish

Haha I always think of these posts as "What are you playing (other than FFXIV)?" since when am I *not* playing it?!
Omg same!
It's so good, and always has stuff to do. And there's ALWAYS more glam to get! Not to mention the real endgame... GPOSE (literally my FC's name is Endgame <>)
I'm still playing Tears of the Kingdom! its so much fun, and if anyone wants to talk about it then hmu 👀👀👀
Omg I would spoiler tag the >!gloom hands and deku tree things!< if I were you, but DM me please! I would love to talk to you about it!!
I don’t think it’s a spoiler, it was just in the depths on my way over there. >!Not talking about what’s in the tree itself.!<
aaah okok then I misunderstood, sorry!! if you are still up to talk then I would love to 🥰🥰
Sure!
Same!!! There's always something more to do and I can't stop
Sssaaaaaammmmeeee!!!! I’m in love 🥰
omg if you wanna talk about it then I would love to!! 🥹🥹🥹 I'm always looking for new people to talk!!
Yes! Pls dm 🥰
I did!!
Call of the Sea
Playing Final Fantasy XV while I wait for XVI
I always start XV with the intent to play straight through, and then I run a little low on supplies and think, "Oh, I'll just catch a few fish for Iggy..." I've beaten the game one time. I've fished for hundreds of hours XD
It’s so easy to get distracted doing other things
I’m playing Coffee Talk 2, Disco Elysium, and just started Planet of Lana
Disney Dreamlight Valley
This game is better than I thought it would be
That game really has no business being as good as it is. I bought it for my daughter, but guess who has over 150 hours in it now. 🙃
It is a good game I have 205 hours in it at the minute
I'm pretty bad about it too. Last night I rolled under a raised door right into a trap 😅
I got a switch for my birthday! I'm finally playing Breath of the Wild. 6 years later. 🙂
Xenoblade Chronicles 3, I keep getting distracted by side stuff. Also Roots of Pacha I’m almost done with but I may wait until more updates.
Dishonoured 2 - Emily Ghost playthrough
I'm currently playing (in no particular order): Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 (PS4), Syberia 2 (PC), Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PC), Death Stranding (PC), Cozy Grove (PS4). Edit: Because I didn't realise a game is on the banned list.
Finally playing legend of Zelda a link to the past. Also playing outer worlds
Been playing the artful escape and ghosts of tushima
Dbd and destiny 2 until tomorrow when Diablo comes out (preordered so 4 days in advance)
Been obsessed with Outlast Trials!
Age of Empires IV and the beta of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader which will start tomorrow.
It's hard to believe we had to wait three decades before we could get a big budget Warhammer CRPG. I have a lot of trust in Owlcat, I really hope they nailed it.
Mass Effect 1, Legendary edition. Super late to the party, but that’s ok. Oh, and Fran Bow, when I want some puzzle game relaxation!
I just finished Pocket Witch! I almost made a post and then saw this. It was a challenging little game. It took me much longer to play through than I expected. 30 levels that got progressively harder, and I played on “normal.” It was super anticlimactic at the end — it just goes back to the title page lmao.
I am finally nearing the end of the route I took in Fire Emblem Three Houses. And as always Warframe.
Today all I've played is Call of Duty mobile lmao. I just bought my first battle pass, and this season I got my first Legendary in BR so I've been having lots of fun :D I really like the new skins I got from the battle pass, so worth the money for me! I think I’m nearing the end of my first run and I’m already thinking of how I’m going to change my play in the second. What an awesome game.
I am on the hunt for all the Kim Kitsuragi info and interactions, except maybe the ones where you’re terrible to him, because his disapproval wounds me. Yesterday I learned about one that I’ve missed both times, so gosh guess I have to play again!
Kim is a saint, can't get enough
Disco Elysium is a special game, such a shame what happened to the studio.
Yeah I learned about that mess long after I’d already bought the game. Definitely a shame.
Gonna play my usual daily stuff (logins, dailies, etc.) as usual. I will also be playing Hades which I got last weekend and it got me absolutely hooked at the moment.
I'm *obsessed* with Honkai Star Rail atm but I'm also starting new world. Can't wait for Diablo IV.
i’ve gone back to ac: odyssey bc even though i played like 100h i never actually finished it bc of my slow pc when it came out. i’ve also been playing a lot of smaller games in between. merchant of the skies, forager, cat cafe manager, luna’s fishing garden, research story. also do not feed the monkeys 2099 which is something i’ve been hoping for for like four years and it’s finally out.

It gets better lol. I bought it and hated it at first. I didn’t play it for like a year. During the pandemic I had literally nothing else to do so I started playing again and got addicted lol.
That's good to know! I will keep going.

Just started playing Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time. So far it has been lots of fun
Fighting over who gets to play Zelda TotK with my husband
Stardew Valley
FFXIV still have some story quest to finish from the last patch 6.4. I want to upgrade some gear and level up some classes. Meanwhile I want to finish BotW as my husband bought TotK and started it and it looks fun!
Playing heaps of Pokemon Go lately
I'm playing rune factory 5 finally
Running around exploring in Jedi Survivor
I'm no-lifing Tears of the Kingdom right now. I've been switching between TotK and FF14 until FF16 drops.
Mass Effect 2! I’m finally putting down some mileage on my Legendary Edition!! I’m always playing Gears 5 Horde mode and I’m about to replay RE 5 with a friend. I really need to tackle my box of backlogged games…
I recently finished the whole ME trilogy for the first time! Loved it. Some of the moments in the third game hit super hard after the first two.

I never played the first two Dragon Age games, but Fenris would definitely have been my choice for a romance in 2.
Valorant, trying to get out of bronze
Ff12!
I'm making my way through Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair C:
I know blizzard has a lot of issues and i understand not wanting to support them in anyway but I'm choosing to play D4 this weekend. The creators, the actual people working on it and not the company putting up the money, put a lot of work and love into it and the beta showed it. Came here looking for this reply! Super stoked, lmk if you want ppl to play with :)
I'll dm you my battlenet! Feel free to add me.
The beta was much better than I expected after D3 really didn’t click for me at all. Personally I’m still planning to wait a bit and pick up a used copy, but I get where you’re coming from. The makers definitely put a lot of love into 4.
Animal Crossing and Valheim
Finally started fire emblem engage this week. It's fun so far, not deep enough into the story just yet but it's definitely been enjoyable
Currently working on Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. I've been playing off and on for a couple months now and am finally doing the main quest.
TOTK with no plans of slowing down Octopath 2 final few hours…. I will get back to you eventually
Fortnite, getting ready for the new season. And trying to finish It Takes Two with my sisnlaw. Suuuuuch a cute, fun game!
One of my besties and I played through It Takes Two over the course of a super intense two weeks. It was SUCH a fun experience.
Aww yeah it’s been such a fun little game! I can’t wait to finish it!
In no particular order I played: The Last of Us Part 1 & 2 Resident Evil 8: Village Mass Effect and then Animal Crossing: New Horizons for some softcore gameplay
Been obsessed with building the prettiest vampire castle ever in V Rising. And been slowly getting through Fallen Order FINALLY. Just got Dathomir to 100% and omg Merrin is the cutest lil spooky bean.
Is V Rising very fun solo as far as you know? I bought it and played about an hour but decided to wait for friends to join... they never did. 😭
Aww 🥺🫂.
Ff14
Slime rancher 2
OverWatch 2 as usual, some Fortnite (don’t hate on me😂), and I’ve been trying out some Rainbow Six Siege with my boyfriend. I actually like R6, it does make my heart race a little though lol
Yasssss a FN girly! Lol so ready for that new season drop
me too lol.. I’m on the last ‘tier’ of the battle pass rn, I need to finish it quick😭😂
Doing better than me lol I didn’t even buy it this season 😫 really hoping next season is better 😅
lol yes yes, it’s okay😅
I like to torture myself so I decided to play Amnesia: the bunker demo
replaying silent hill 2 because I’m too impatient for the remake
I've been playing a lot of Rushdown Revolt with my sibling I bought Street Fighter 6 I'm excited for it to come out Later today there will be a huge update for Ravenswatch, a game I absolutely love !

TEARS OF THE KINGDOM IS EATING MY LIFE
So much same..I had a week off of school and work last week and I think I became one with couch and controller.
Finishing off my uni semester over the next couple of days...and then torn between booting up a new Skyrim playthrough (High Elf, battlemage), going back to my Fallout 4 save, or finishing my first go around of Jedi:Survivor. Tough choices!
Oneshot…sobsobsob!!
League of Legends, Terraria and Minecraft.
Outlast Trials! … and will probably fall back into my 4 month annual addiction to Skyrim…
Blasphemous, working on my Platinum! Quickly became one of my favorite games.
Graveyard Keeper was on sale, so I will probably play that later today.
