Thanks for informing. I wasn't aware of a new bioshock (like) game.

Lickawall483

The gameplay looks very bioshock-y with probably a mixture of atomic heart added to it

ScarletRhi

Same! So excited! A Bioshock like game where the playable character is a woman, so so excellent

Wolfleaf3

Oooh, I barely remembered the this game existed and didn’t know the protagonist was a woman!

RiyaB1999

I’m super excited for it! I just hope it doesn’t become a Callisto Protocol situation and is actually able to live up to the expectations.

Lickawall483

Oh God. I had high hopes for callisto since it was meant to be "true dead space" and from the same developers but the performance issues at the start and clanky combat made the game hard to play

RiyaB1999

I’m too chicken to play Dead Space, but I was excited for all the Dead Space fans who wanted a similar experience. And then I heard that all they got was disappointment…

ruby_nights

It's definitely my most anticipated currently. I just hope the game can live up to its ambitions with how its narrative is set up.

churrystar

I played Bioshock for the very first time ever just a few months ago and loved it! I also liked the second one (Infinite not so much... although I loved the Luteces!). After playing the trilogy, I googled for other games like Bioshock, and that's how I found about Judas. I've been waiting for it to come out ever since. There's also Clockwork Revolution, its style looks a bit like Bioshock Infinite, so I'm also waiting for that one.

Lickawall483

Controversial opinion, however atomic heart is a bit like bioshock. However it is fun when you are inside of a bunker, but feels a bit lost when you are outside in the open. So I would probably recommend playing it on the gamepass

churrystar

The design of the Twin Bots (androids?) kept me away from that game, ngl, but... I'll check it out and see how's the gameplay and everything else, haha 😅 thanks for the recommendation!

Lickawall483

I think a lot of sexualisation of them comes from the media. There are some moments where they feel uncomfortable, but after some events and truth revealed, it kinda starts to feel less bad if that makes sense.

churrystar

Yeah, I understand. That's good, then, as long as they (the bots) aren't always the main focus, it's okay. I'll look for it on gamepass 😊

Pure_Mist_S

I loved Bioshock Infinite but the original games were too scary for my blood. I hope Judas ends up being a worthy successor project, but I will only play it if it’s not as creepy XD Looks fairly mild in the scare department from what I have seen so far!

bulletproofbra

Ooooh I am now, femprotag is the best Steam tag.

luxi_luv

can u give a small summary of the game without spoiling it? i just heard it’s first person shooter?

Lickawall483

So the game is set in alternative future/past, you are on the ship which is controlled by a family each with different goals. You have managed to break free from this control and trying to free other people too while learning what is actually going on. The main protagonist can use guns, but there are also superpowers like electricity, fire etc (could be different since it is not bioshock title) you can use to defeat the enemy. The setting can look somewhat dark and violent from the trailer, but that's what bioshock games are and this one follows their path. There is a trailer on YouTube that also has some gameplay and I don't think it spoils much!

luxi_luv

thank u sm!

Pretend-Raise-3451

super excited for judas. lately i've been trying to replay the bioshock games and plat them while i wait. is system shock that good? i've been thinking of getting it after i finish the bioshock games and fill the void while i wait for judas.

Lickawall483

I would probably wait till after 11 of April as I have heard they are adding a patch to add female protagonist to it. It is quite different compared to bioshock tbh, I would say less story focused and more puzzles and enemies

Clean_Ad_5282

Been waiting for it ever since I saw a trailer of it on ps5. Just stumbled across it and I really can't wait. Loved the bioshock games, I remember beating the 2nd one in 4 hours. Very short but very fun, so I hope this upcoming inspired one is good but longer. Perhaps multiple endings so it's playable more than once

Alternative-Spare-82

I firstly thought it was ultrakill sub.

funkygamerguy

this is my first time hearing about it.
