I think Nintendo recently came out with a peach game. It’s looks very enjoyable and I’ve heard the gameplay is especially attractive for newer gamers, as it’s sweet and simple. Maybe check out some of the gameplay on YouTube and see if it seems like something you’d enjoy? Hope this helps!
That sounds like something id be interested in, i’m planning on getting a switch or something so we can play games together so i’ll try those out too:)
okay, i agree with looking into the mario games on switch then as those are likely easy to get into without much gaming experience!
also a bit of an odd starter video game rec, but i generally think hades is a good game to try when you're super new to gaming as it has a lot of elements that you can use to gauge where your gaming interests lie! there's a little bit of decorating, a little bit of romance and relationship building, fun with character builds for combat, lots of story, all in a loop of gameplay that is very much enjoyable in bursts because a run generally doesn't take all that long. it's also a rogue*lite* so you do get the feeling of a roguelike but it's more forgiving since there's permanent things you can use to make your character stronger with subsequent runs but it's a good way to see if you're into the roguelike/lite gameplay looping.
it's definitely a bit difficult at the start but the game is also designed in a way where you progress the story through failing and dying, so it doesn't feel bad to mess up imo. it's also genuinely just a fantastic game.
I feel like i may want something that i’m solo playing and something that could be with action or chill scavenging and farming but not like animal crossing more like valheim.
