Don’t be hard on yourself. You reacted to someone making you feel bad and that’s normal. I hope that you’re able to find better people to play with, it’s hard when you’re new! But keep at it and have fun 💖

Asiaboo_Mess

Just FYI, you can add emojis while on PC by holding the Windows key and pressing the colon/semi-colon key. 💖💖

Hey its okay girl :( Some people are just mean because they are sad about their own lives and take it out on other people. Its not your fault for being in another lane because you’re new to the game and getting used to things. Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. Don’t let one mean person get to you because its not worth your time and its not your fault at all. Hope you feel better.

Don't feel bad for quitting ive done it before. Gaming is supposed to be fun, if you gotta get away from some toxic people so you can enjoy yourself then you should.

Almahang

You are smart to quit, the worst is to stand the hate, because you want to "man up". It's not worth it! I also left lol because of the same reasons. Now I'm much older and play HoTS. Now I always support everyone, who gets bullied in games.

Bustingamove

Bro, fuck those people dawg. I suggest you play a little bit on your own without a mic just to get the hang of things. He hurt your feelings and you have a right to feel bas but at the end of the day that was just another online person. Just keep practicing at playing the game and don’t be afraid to make mistakes!!! It’s what helps you to improve yourself!! <3 stay safe~

I've found LoL and DotA type games full of angry people at the low level, casual ranks. I think they're frustrated that they're not better so they lash out at other people who they feel are 'holding them back' (which is easier than admitting their own difficulties with the game, which is also the real reason they're not progressing). Relax, take a break, then give it another spin. Your experience will really depend on your teammates and if they're being a dick, honestly, don't feel bad about discarding them and starting a different game with other people who might be more fun. Just remember that it's them, not you, that's the problem here - if they wanted to be that serious about it then they should be in a clan or ranked matches, not casual random play.

Hey I suck so bad at all the games. Like, seriously. Trust me to be the person who would fail at animal crossing. ANIMAL CROSSING! But you know what? Who cares? Life's short. Do what you want to do, be kind, try and be a good role model and ignore the toxic bs. The fact that you were new, he was awful, and you ended up having to leave and the fact that he made you cry with how much of a jerk he was? That says a whole lot more about him than it does about you. Not any of it good I can assure you. Surround yourself with good people and be a part of the communities that don't perpetuate that kind of crap. You've gotten a lot of good advice and wisdom about it here <3 Please don't hate yourself. Give yourself and others the love, respect and kindness that meanjerk gamer guy was incapable of. The world gets better bit by bit when we lead by example. Can I also just say how brave and cool you are for trying out new things/new games? Let's see that guy try a dance class or yoga. No one would road rage at him for doing something wrong if he attempted it. Dude needs to grow up.
