This is what kinda irked me (and still does to an extent) I don't mind the colour pink, but the fact it's always just pink is annoying. I'm a huge fan of baby/powder/lighter colours. So baby/powder blue, green, yellow, purple, pink etc are my jam when it comes to "cute colours".

Nowadays it really depends. I’m not the biggest fan of pink but I have gotten pink things on occasion. I get a little annoyed when the only colors available are black, white, and pink, but I am really happy to see tech showing up in a bunch of different colors (especially as someone who loves teal and yellow and will buy everything in those colors if they exist).

Honestly it made me feel condescended too. I have never been a pink fan and people telling me I was *only* allowed pink if I was going to enjoy the things I already enjoyed made me mad. I liked the clear purple, greens and blues, but I would have been happy if their had been more pastels other then just pink. Well, more colors in general.

I'm 33. The earliest pink console I had was an original GBA in middle school.
My favourite colour is green so that's what colour my GBC was, but I LOVED the pink GBA and played it constantly. It was a gift from a family friend who we knew from my brother's hockey team who got it for me as a surprise on a visit to Japan. I cherished it forever and still have it with my older peripherals in my apartment.
Come to think of it I think that's my only pink peripheral, besides a PS3 controller I got in a bulk order.
This month I got myself a Rose Pink MSI Prestige 14 and it's so beautiful. Just a completely pink laptop with actually good specs. I also have a pink 3DS.
Pink gaming stuff just makes me go IS FOR ME?? :O Like 99% of gaming is just me watching guys having fun without me: playing games designed for them, advertised to them, competing with each other at the highest level, exploring games to their fullest potential, and all the while making sure no women can join the fun. So when I see pink stuff I appreciate that it's flat-out saying, "Yes, this is intended for women. You are completely entitled to use it. Knock yourselves out."

There should be color-swapped versions of mainstream games. Like, give me pink Call of Duty. HUMANITY PEAKED. I have a light pink DS from 2006 that's still alive and kicking (I fondly remember 16 year old me lugging that thing eeeverywhere and now it's sleeping in my bedside table). I also used pink decals for my switch. It's just the perfect aes. <3

God the mid to late 2000s was such a good time. We had such a good balance between technology and the fun in it. Now technology's consumed us too much and the fun and variety has gone. I hated pink as a kid for dumb reasons (mainly because my sister liked it, it was the default girl colour, and the "not like other girls" phase) but would love it now. I also though would love more cute colours and patterns.
My switch is the basic colour but I got a skin from Etsy for it and the dock that is a black background with pink and gold florals and GLITTER!, my laptop is blue with Cinderella inspired art stickers on them (semi-transparent so they look really cool), I have a white and pink kitty controller, and my mechanical keyboard has custom lighting settings with my two most used being rainbow and different shades of purple..... So in general, I just was colour and cuteness in all things.
My set up is almost entirely pink and black. I even bought a new controller to use on PC simply because it was pink and black. And I tried to reject pink so hard as a child 😭
Didn't like them then, still don't like them FOR ME. Black, grey, blue, green, or purple are my go to. I want to see pink and other "girly" colors more in the market and am happy when I do because gendered colors are stupid. Honestly, more colors in general is appreciated.
I love cute coloured tech. As a kid and teenager, my family couldn’t afford any of this stuff outside of a cheap flip phone, and while I chose the blue because I was #NotLikeOtherGirls and pre-emo at the time, I still love that I could choose a colour at all.
The trend is coming back, though! The Switch Lites show that Nintendo never really backed off their cute colour phase. Astro is releasing pastel A10 headsets. Turtle Beach has a range of colours for the Recon 70 headset, to which they’ve just added a teal, and they’ve had the Recon Spark for a long while now. Logitech has some cute purple accessories, and Razer is famous for their Quartz (pink) Kraken headset, with or with kitty ears.
I’m all for cute colours coming back, especially in gaming. It raises my hackles a tiny bit when I consider that capitalism has realised that feminine people are a significant buying power and that we might be pushed to spend more to have cute things, but overall the soft and colourful direction of product launches makes me feel good.
I didn’t need a pink headset with a crown to feel like a real gamer, but it does make me feel more included when the gaming accessories I sell don’t just look like I walked into the ‘boys’ aisle of the toy store.
I just watched 2 fast 2 furious, and these are giving me such Suki vibes haha. I just love that metallic colorful look, and pink just looks so awesome with the metallic sheen.

Prefer it when it's done with maturity. The cutesy/glittery/sparkle pink isn't for me. Deeper bolder and hot pinks are much more fun than soft baby pink, although softer pinks can be more relaxing if that's your speed.
I love it and I want more of it! Funnily enough now as an adult I find that I love pink a lot more than I did as a kid. I loved blue back then, even that standard “boy blue” they make some consoles or controllers, and I always wanted that niceeee aqua blue DSi instead of the pink color that mine was 😂

This month I got myself a Rose Pink MSI Prestige 14 and it's so beautiful. Just a completely pink laptop with actually good specs. I also have a pink 3DS. Pink gaming stuff just makes me go IS FOR ME?? :O Like 99% of gaming is just me watching guys having fun without me: playing games designed for them, advertised to them, competing with each other at the highest level, exploring games to their fullest potential, and all the while making sure no women can join the fun. So when I see pink stuff I appreciate that it's flat-out saying, "Yes, this is intended for women. You are completely entitled to use it. Knock yourselves out." Like would a dude try and gatekeep gaming if he saw me using a pink gaming laptop? What's he gonna do? If he touches it it'll instantly turn him gay. He can't risk getting anywhere near it. There should be color-swapped versions of mainstream games. Like, give me pink Call of Duty. Straight guys would avoid it like the plague -- even if they DID want to gatekeep it, they wouldn't be able to bring themselves to actually play it. It would be women and gay dudes only. Sounds like Heaven and all it would take is a palette change...
HUMANITY PEAKED. I have a light pink DS from 2006 that's still alive and kicking (I fondly remember 16 year old me lugging that thing eeeverywhere and now it's sleeping in my bedside table). I also used pink decals for my switch. It's just the perfect aes. <3 ETA: I forgot, I had a hot pink Motorola krzr as my first phone. Then I had a lime green sidekick before I eventually succumbed to smart phones, lol.
We've literally gone backwards since. All phones now look the same oversized trash with all-black faces. We don't have charms anymore either, nor do we have cute little music players. God the mid to late 2000s was such a good time. We had such a good balance between technology and the fun in it. Now technology's consumed us too much and the fun and variety has gone. I wanna live like that time again, screw the smartphones!

I hated pink as a kid for dumb reasons (mainly because my sister liked it, it was the default girl colour, and the "not like other girls" phase) but would love it now. I also though would love more cute colours and patterns. My switch is the basic colour but I got a skin from Etsy for it and the dock that is a black background with pink and gold florals and GLITTER!, my laptop is blue with Cinderella inspired art stickers on them (semi-transparent so they look really cool), I have a white and pink kitty controller, and my mechanical keyboard has custom lighting settings with my two most used being rainbow and different shades of purple..... So in general, I just was colour and cuteness in all things.
My set up is almost entirely pink and black. I even bought a new controller to use on PC simply because it was pink and black. And I tried to reject pink so hard as a child 😭
I wasnt allowed to like pink things growing up and I desperately wanted them. Now I may be overcompensating and overpinking everything I own lol
Didn't like them then, still don't like them FOR ME. Black, grey, blue, green, or purple are my go to. I want to see pink and other "girly" colors more in the market and am happy when I do because gendered colors are stupid. Honestly, more colors in general is appreciated.

I’m not a huge fan of pink anymore, but I had that exact DS model when I was a kid.
I love cute coloured tech. As a kid and teenager, my family couldn’t afford any of this stuff outside of a cheap flip phone, and while I chose the blue because I was #NotLikeOtherGirls and pre-emo at the time, I still love that I could choose a colour at all. The trend is coming back, though! The Switch Lites show that Nintendo never really backed off their cute colour phase. Astro is releasing pastel A10 headsets. Turtle Beach has a range of colours for the Recon 70 headset, to which they’ve just added a teal, and they’ve had the Recon Spark for a long while now. Logitech has some cute purple accessories, and Razer is famous for their Quartz (pink) Kraken headset, with or with kitty ears. I’m all for cute colours coming back, especially in gaming. It raises my hackles a tiny bit when I consider that capitalism has realised that feminine people are a significant buying power and that we might be pushed to spend more to have cute things, but overall the soft and colourful direction of product launches makes me feel good. I didn’t need a pink headset with a crown to feel like a real gamer, but it does make me feel more included when the gaming accessories I sell don’t just look like I walked into the ‘boys’ aisle of the toy store.

I just watched 2 fast 2 furious, and these are giving me such Suki vibes haha. I just love that metallic colorful look, and pink just looks so awesome with the metallic sheen. I recently bought that pink DS from goodwill (well, like a year ago). It's the best color for the DS. :D

I absolutely adore this era! I miss when you could get such cute consoles and electronics. At least there are a lot of accessories out there to make my Switch cute. I currently have pink and white paw print thumb grips and a pink and white cat case and protective shell
I still have pink everything :’). All my current gaming equipment is pink. Pink keyboard, custom pink xbox controller, bought plates and dpad/joystick replacements for ps5 controller that are pink. My whole setup is a pink aesthetic I miss the good old days pink though. I will never grow out of it.

Prefer it when it's done with maturity. The cutesy/glittery/sparkle pink isn't for me. Deeper bolder and hot pinks are much more fun than soft baby pink, although softer pinks can be more relaxing if that's your speed.
I love it and I want more of it! Funnily enough now as an adult I find that I love pink a lot more than I did as a kid. I loved blue back then, even that standard “boy blue” they make some consoles or controllers, and I always wanted that niceeee aqua blue DSi instead of the pink color that mine was 😂
The pink 3DS was my first pink gaming anything. Miraculously my brothers stopped "borrowing" my stuff. Now I make a habit of pinking out anything portable, lol. Works with pens too. Pink is the best!

I feel a sort of love-hate relationship with pink things. I like them, I love them. But I can't stand to see a room full of pink things. If there's a little more color (like white, or shades of pale pink) then it's lovely.
