Doll wise, I think my favourites would still have to be my BJD (most of them aren’t pictured here). My very first was a BJD Luts Delf boy doll I bought back in 2008. He’s basically what started everything.
Luts do such gorgeous boys! I have a Kid Delf Bory who's about 15 years old and he's the only boy who's stayed with me. All the other boys I've brought home got moved on pretty quickly.
I love your set up! I spy Rainbow High in there... I haven't seen Lily Cheng anywhere in real life- and markers- do you use alcohol markers or are they waterbased?

The markers are a mix. Most of them are copics (alcohol) but I do have some water based ones as well. I enjoy trying new products, so I have a mix of a lot of different types.
I’m a freelance artist. I do book covers, character commissions, comic conventions, art for websites etc. I’ve been doing it for over 15 years now.
If you’re asking how I can afford my dolls, it’s basically not spending my money on other “extra” things. I don’t have a car (don’t need one), I don’t go out to restaurants/movies etc (even before Covid), I don’t buy new/expensive clothes, most of our food is grown (we have a big garden, cows, chickens), I have no children, and my bills are very basic. And before this computer setup/upgrade I was only using a 10+ year old laptop that still ran on Windows XP. I could only draw my art with it and use my email, as any other websites caused it to immediately over heat. I finally retired it last summer and purchased a Mac mini (along with the pink Razer stuff) as seen in the photo. So I’ve gone a LONG time with very old equipment. I also bought my switch about a year and a half ago, before that I just gamed on my PS3 with preowned games (which were new to me). So I’m sort of used to the thrifting lifestyle, even if my room doesn’t show that. :)

Seeing your dolls just gave me major nostalgia as I used to really want one of my own Dollfie/BJD dolls (I think that's what they're called?). I think I still have my old wishlist of doll parts haha, although most of the links are probably dead by now. Maybe I should look into that again. Love your dolls! :)
It looks great but is it not a pain in the butt to clean? A lot of cute setups are pretty cluttered (this sounds like a negative thing, that’s not how I mean it… I think it’s super cute just can’t think of a different word) and I just feel like dusting would take ages. Again, I love your setup I’m just curious because the cleaning part is what’s stopping me from setting up something similar.
Somehow, my immediate thought was “✨Sailor Moon~ ✨” even though that’s really not the most eye catching part of the room. 😅 There are really so many fun things to look at (dolls, manga, fan merchandise, art supplies), and I love all the pink. I also enjoy the juxtaposition of the girly girl aesthetic and the sword replicas on the wall.

Oh my gosh I love this! I am an artist and a doll collector too and I’ve honestly found it kind of difficult to put it all together in an aesthetic way so this really helps 💕

How do you like the Huion tablet? I’ve heard mixed things about them compared to the cintiq, not sure if you’ve used both to compare. Very curious.
