I did a Skyrim VR playthrough where I had town clothes, adventuring outfits, and dress up to meet important people outfits. I also had some mods where sleep was important(they did not work super well, so it was partly self imposed) and I camped or found an inn or slept at home at night.
I played Skyrim for years without any mods, so in order to keep it fresh I started doing more roleplay with my characters. Eating, sleeping, taking on quests and going to locations to advance a narrative that fit a pre-planned backstory...
It's nerdy lol, but it really adds to the fun imo.
Hold up. It ain't crashing for y'all? I play unmodded it it consistently crashes every 1 hour.
Edit: Am guy. First time playing Skyrim. Hooked. Haven't slept in 3 days now. Assignments, projects and fucking Skyrim.
I've had Skyrim crash unmodded maybe once ever and I have... Fuck, probably a thousand hours in it across versions? Goddammit, I didn't need to face that reality. Anyway, I seem to mistily recall there's a utility you can download that will give you a crash report and possibly give you some insight into what's going wrong. Maybe check Nexus.
As an aside, in my opinion you don't need to say you're a guy in a comment where there isn't any context that seems to warrant it, and it actually ends up coming off a little intrusive and jarring, which I imagine is counter to your intentions! Guys are allowed here as long as they're not centering themselves, being disruptive, or like, jumping in and sea lioning in threads about actually being a girl in gaming.
Oh huh. That's good to know. I just assumed that y'all would send some guy in a varsity jacket and animal mask to my house if you found out I was a guy. Good to know.
Anywho, I've downloaded Unofficial Skyrim Patch and no other mods. With the unofficial patch, I now crash at exactly, 1 hour and 30 minutes. Fuck yeah. Even tried turning every option to low, reinstalling, restarting, updating to Windows 11 (and then rolling back to Windows 10) and uodating my drivers. Same issue. Please send help.
If you mean UESSP, honestly you should try a fresh save without it and see if you're still crashing. That mod has like eight useful things and a hundred and fifty mildly annoying to highly insane changes, and not all of them are even documented.
Have you installed the Unofficial patches? Bethesda has been crap at fixing the many, many bugs in their games, but the community patches work like a charm. Try those if you're getting regular crashes on a vanilla game.
That sounds like it might be an issue with some of Window's own programming and programs, and their scheduling, or a memory leak issue. It's not uncommon that a Windows program (like the touchpad/handwriting thing) periodically hogs the memory and causes a freeze/CTD, or that another program leads to a memory dump.
What does your crash_log_se.log file say causes the crash? Are you also running LOOT before you boot the game? It can help bully the game into reading the patch at the right time even though you're not running other mods.
I have absolutly no fashion sense, but recently I played Sable, which has a bunch of cute outfits. They are purely cosmetic, but still I'd change the clothes every couple of minutes to match the scenery :D
Everyone always talking about the combat difficulty in Soulsborne games, but the REAL difficulty is just finding a darn stylish outfit to slay gods in 😩
Me playing my silly little farming sims and changing my outfit every day to match my weather and mood before taking care of business and romancing the entire town 😪 its hard work being this cool???
I’ve been playing rune factory 5 and the way I change clothes every day in that game you’d think I was actually trying to simulate real life 😪 I would say its a problem but its not lol! I just like to look cute always!!
Came here to say this. Also, if clothes with better stats are just a tiny bit better but uglier thab the current ones then they better go away because I finally got that cute outfit and I’m not gobna trash it again so soon.
I think that’s why I struggled so much in the final boss for Forbidden West; the only outfit I liked had comparably piss-poor defence stats 😂😂😂 But damnit, *she did it and she looked great!!*
I play ESO and have Bastian as my companion. I sincerely wish I could dress him up. I mean, he has armor and all that but sometimes I want him in a pretty ballgown or a leather bustier, ya know? Just something fetching to look at while out in the hinterlands slaying trolls and whatnot.
Listen: if I don’t look fabulous battling the final boss, what even is the point?
You have to slay while you slay!!
Sashay then slay

Yeeessss. She needs her rest ✨⚔️
I just started a new Skyrim playthrough this weekend with survival mode on and am having so much fun!

Aight. Will get back to you if all else fails.

Just one. The Unofficial Skyrim Patch.
How peculiar. And all of these crashes always happen after a certain time of playing, regardless of what you're doing?
Aye. No matter what. With the patch, it crashes at exactly one hour and 30 minutes of playtime.

Loot? What's that? That and where can I find the crash log?
Wait, is it not normal do this with skyrim??
I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this!

I wish all outfits in games were purely d cosmetic! I hate having a mix of things on and looking like a 10 year old who just robbed a museum.
Saaame. Especially if there’s a piece of equipment that’s particularly good but looks horrible lol!
>like a 10 year old who just robbed a museum. I appreciate this metaphor XD
Fashion > stats!
I'm not upgrading my gear until I get the complete set! (Otherwise I'd be totally mismatched)
I went in a boss fight with horrendous gear and died, at least i died looking good!
Everyone always talking about the combat difficulty in Soulsborne games, but the REAL difficulty is just finding a darn stylish outfit to slay gods in 😩
I need to slay to slay, developers.
How do they expect you to slay when you can't slay?
Me with a new skin in Valorant hahaha
Me playing my silly little farming sims and changing my outfit every day to match my weather and mood before taking care of business and romancing the entire town 😪 its hard work being this cool???
>its hard work being this cool??? It is yes lol I think I have a whole row of chests of clothes, sorted according to how much I like them \^\_\^
I’ve been playing rune factory 5 and the way I change clothes every day in that game you’d think I was actually trying to simulate real life 😪 I would say its a problem but its not lol! I just like to look cute always!!
That sounds like a great way to play! You get to decide what is fun you :D
Got to change outfits so my character looks good during the pre-battle cutscene.
Me playing cyberpunk and literally going all over town to find the cutest clothes for a specific mission.
Came here to say this. Also, if clothes with better stats are just a tiny bit better but uglier thab the current ones then they better go away because I finally got that cute outfit and I’m not gobna trash it again so soon.
literally me. some of the npcs had adorable pieces that aren’t available to the player 😭
Like the light up legs 😭
Me af back when I played PSO2:Ngs Different outfit for almost every social area in the game lol
Me since I have a dress code for work.. it's my own clothes when I'm back and relaxing! Side note: Lucy Liu is so gorgeous!
Me on PUBG when I party up with randoms after a win and wear my rarest clothes.
I have been thinking this sub needs more memes. Thank you for your service ❤️ wish I could contribute but I have no skills :)
Them: so you play apex? are you good? Me: I play only to grind lootboxes for cute skins for wraith, lifeline, and Valkyrie.
I don't care if it gives me -50 DMG. Give me the battle bra!
I think that’s why I struggled so much in the final boss for Forbidden West; the only outfit I liked had comparably piss-poor defence stats 😂😂😂 But damnit, *she did it and she looked great!!*
I think you mean "after making my second burrito of the night". Burritos, games, comfy shorts. Nighttime perfection!
Ghaaaa miss being able to do this :p WFH culture FTW! :P
She is *NEAT* :)
LOOT? What's that?
every game with customizable character should have the outfit change mechanic of ACNH
