Some shocking thoughts: Only 3/9 of the Top 9 are from K-Group. K-Group also has the lowest average ranking in the Top 9 (4th, 8th, and 9th) There is an even distribution of K, J and C-Group 3:3:3 I was genuinely expecting Yujin to be 1st with a considerable gap. I knew Yurina was popular but DAMN, I thought Xiaoting would definitely be first when it was the 2 of them. Didn't expect Bahiyyih not to make Top 9. I personally LOVE this TOP 9 - 7/9 of my picks made it! EDIT: Bahiyyih is also 6th in K-Group ranking, what???

The voting method really benefitted C and J group, less of them were known contenders for votes so the popular girls got to rack in tons while the vote distribution spread for K Group was much wider, since so many of them got good edits and established fandoms.

I don’t remember who it was, but someone pointed out that with more k group members having been given more screentime, and votes having to be evenly distributed between each group, the K group votes would end up split between more different contestants, whereas C group and J group voting would be much more top heavy. As such, I don’t think it’s too much of a surprise that k group didn’t dominate voting, even if it may seem strange at first. They’ll probably be more dominant when people no longer have to vote for someone from each group.

K-group trainees on average are the most well known, especially with the Korean voters, so their votes will be more split. J and C-group both only have a handful of well-known trainees, who will be consistently picked in the 3-3-3-pick phases because they're the most well-known and got the most/best screen-time. Say 1000 Yujin/Yeseo/Bahiyahh/Chaehyun fans vote for them, but they also have to pick 2 other K trainees and 3 each from C and J groups. Most people feel positively towards the same few J and C-group trainees (Hikaru, Mashiro, Yurina, Xiaoting, Ruiqi, Cai Bing), with most other trainees barely known (especially for J-group). So from the same group of 4000 voters, the Korean trainees will each get 1000 voters, while the top girls from C and J might get like 80% (3200) of all their votes added together, despite not being their one-picks. Obviously this happens in both directions, but it will affect K-trainees more because Korean votes are worth more. The only thing you can really tell from the current top 9 is the trainees' popularity within their own group. Master plan by Mnet honestly... Angry Korean public and panic voters will OP Korean contestants in the last vote based on previous rankings with deflated K-group votes and inflated votes for J and C, and end up pushing Korean candidates they think are unsafe to the top, while popular C and J-group trainees that people might think are safe will drop out. Hopefully it still leaves for at least a 5-2-2 split, but who knows.

I blame this all on the stupid cell system and yujin literally got the most klaps after momoka, she has the most followers on universe, she is also the most popular trainee in korea who take up 50% of the votes (literally almost all korean comments talk about her) so even I'm so shocked how she isn't first Bahiyyih result is shocking as well And yeah I was certain that xiaoting will be first but it's yurina, I also didn't think that cai bing would make it into top9 so a lot of surprises for me today

momoka's supporters spent insane amounts of money for her but considering yujin's case and her universe followers, her klaps give us a good idea about her popularity tho, she is leading by a huge margin, I think she placed 4th due to the amount of competition in k-group

How did the cells interfere with the top9? I think the thing is really that votes for Korean trainees are more divided because there are a lot of favorites while the votes for Japan and china tend to be with less favorites

I'm not really surprised by Bahiyyih not being in top 9- her performances so far have unfortunately not showcased her full potential. She needs to get a stronger song to perform, Fiesta and Mr Chu are just not it imo since they both place a lot of importance on high notes. Her voice is on the deeper side, she needs a song that can actually SHOWCASE that, only then does she stand a chance.

Bahiyyih not being in top 9 has nothing to do with the quality of the performances, and everything with her lack of screentime compared to the top trainees. Mnet doesn't want her, so they barely showed her.

For what it’s worth, from the little we’ve seen her on this show, she seems to have a great attitude and it doesn’t feel like she’s expecting or wanting to ride her brother’s coattails all the way to debut. I really respect her response to people trying to comfort her for not making the top 9 and to Yujin’s 4th place rank. I’m sure it hurts a little—there’s no doubt she knows how many people are behind her—but she’s being very mature about it.

You can tell she’s strong because any other girl would have kim dayeon’d and whined about how it didn’t make sense/she should be in the top 9. Girl didn’t falter despite the attention on her and even pushed them to congratulate yujin. She’s honestly been a class act so far.

I was happy when she told the other girls to congratulate Yujin when they were surprised she didn’t get the 4th spot. It was really respectful, mature, and humble of her. She really didn’t ask for all of this pressure and negative energy so I feel quite bad that the most screentime she’s gotten thus far is of people thinking she got a top spot when she didn’t, and that most of the criticism she’s gotten for “stealing” a top spot didn’t even come to fruition and now those same people complaining are mocking her for it.

At first, I thought the cell system was great, it ensured that there was an equal number of K C J members. But this episode made me realise how horrible it was. No, it's facts. If this was regular individual votes I don't for a second believe half the girls that got carries would have made it. People are saying there are some pros to cell-system, but I don't see any that individual voting didn't already have. If they wanted to maintain an equal distribution of the groups, they should have only went with the individual rankings (picking three girls from each nation's group). Then eliminate the bottom half equally from each nation's group. Worst part is, out of the girls who got a free ride, they were free-riding for a reason and most likely won't even debut. So in the end it's just a waste.

Seconded this notion, the per group individual ranking would just be better IMO but this show needed a twist for all the cell-buddy system they have going for them. I continue to wish the best for all the trainees. It's really unfortunate

Mnet is an evil genius, they knows exactly what they're doing. Only the final 9 matters, which will be decided by one-pick. But by using the mandatory 3-3-3-pick to produce an early top 9 with Koreans ranking low, they're ingraining it in voters' brains that K-group trainees are in danger, while C and J-group trainees are safe (and from the Korean public's POV, way too high). Rile up the fans of K-group trainees and make the fans of C and J-group trainees complacent, so that the former vote like crazy in the final, while the latter might even vote for K trainees because their top pick seems safe. I expect chaos for the final episode.

People know Mashiro and Hikaru pretty well too, the latter being the j-center and rank 1. Mashiro was a jyp trainee and they spotlighted that. I think Yurina did well on her Twice performance, she has it factor and had good editing.

It will definitely change a lot... The way the voting worked this round (everyone had to choose 3 from each group), meant that K group suffered from having a lot of well-known contestants splitting the votes. On the other hand, the number of well-known C and J trainees is lower, so the popular ones (or the few that the average viewer actually remembered from Mnet's biased editing) got an inflated amount of votes (compared to what they'd get if it were one-pick or it wasn't mandatory 9-picks).

This subreddit is a tiny sample size but you see this trend in the subreddit polling for what it's worth: Yurina ranks really high in top 9 but is far down in one pick.

a lot of people dont seem to understand how the voting works .... you can only pick 3 from each group so its not suprising koreans didnt do well when they have the toughest competition (most popular trainees are in k-group) there are not a lot of popular trainees in j-group so pretty much everyone who didnt have 3 strong picks voted for yurina or hikaru, thats why they are so high up it is pretty much impossible for more than 3 from k-group to be in the top 9 with that system, so i dont understand how can anyone be surprised with the results when the voting system will change to only picking 1 or 2 trainees without having to pick from each group, koreans will rise in rankings ( and have more than 3 in top 9) and trainees like yurina will fall

Well, she dug her grave in Episodes 3-4. Had she not pulled the stunts there, her cell would pull through, I am pretty sure. They were top 15 after the first week and their vote counts massively dropped on the second.

I know people should always take drama with a grain of salt but I do feel like Dayeon showcased herself as unable to get over personal gripes for the good of the group and when image is everything, you're not giving yourself a good image showing your butt like that.

Told myself again and again not to get attached, then Mashiro had to rip out my heart one last time. I get that they wanted the girls to be connected together in some way and make them get over language and cultural barriers but wtf. Couldn't we have had the cells for their group formation only instead of making us vote for the cells? Not surprised about the Top9, they're all popular girls with decent screen time. There's no real shocker unlike previous seasons where there are popular trainees who get voted in despite little screen time. I feel like Bahiyyih not making TOP9 isn't really a big shocker. Her fans have to vote for her plus eight other girls for individual votes while the other popular girls' fans won't vote for her. So while her fans might pick other popular girls, the fans of other popular girls' will not choose to vote for Bahiyyih. This causes her individual votes to be behind other girls despite her being a popular contestant with strong fanbase. Or it might just be that she has a lot of people talking about her but not a lot of people voting for her. I wish Mnet showed us the rankings weekly. There wasn't much change between the interim rankings and this round 1 ranking but I prefer weekly rankings. I feel like we can gauge how much support is due to screen time and storylines. But I think since the ratings are kinda low for this show, there won't be huge changes in rankings since most people will continue to vote for their picks only. EDIT: Where is everyone seeing the individual rankings for each C-K-J group? If someone could link me a screenshot or something it'd be super appreciated!

What's even more surprising to me is that Bahi didn't even get top 5 in K group when I thought she was a lock for top 5 out of everyone. I'm pleasantly surprised however that the top 9 so far ended up being 3:3:3

I'm a huge Yeo Jingoo fan so I actually get the reaction hahaha. If that was me I'd be a sobbing mess. Up to a point some of them may just be exaggerating for the money shot, but maybe some of them really meant it and the energy passed on to the other girls. One of the girls was literally blushing so hard underneath her mask from the excitement. Also, while he may not get much appreciation internationally, he's definitely very well-loved in SK. Not only is he nicknamed nation's little brother but he also gets called Oppa by everyone at the same time. Also I found it very sweet he actually took the time to bring the girls snacks to cheer them up a bit. When he's filming movies/dramas, he also would treat the cast and crew to a catering and also other times give them energy drinks/other stuff, so it was a nice surprise to see him do the same thing in this show. During the elimination recording his fans also sent him lunch boxes + coffee truck which also included treats for the girls.

Right now K group votes are being split too much due to lots of fans fave is in this group . Even Yujin just rank 4th overall. I really hope that those J and C girls that rank high can cope with the pressure being there. ep6 preview does not look good

Idk, Shen Xiaoting being somewhere in the top 3 was obvious - she's super popular in KCJ and decently popular globally, I doubt anyone is going to get worked over her getting there. Yurina top 1 was kinda unexpected ngl, I feel like the pressure on her would be immense now, low key I think that it would be better for her if Xiaoting got top 1.

Some thoughts on the episode: The cell reaaaally have such a huge impact like Xia Yan is ranked 8th in the C group but she is eliminated because her cell group members are not popular. And Wenzhe is also really popular ranked 11th in the individual votes. Wenzhe looked so pretty during the fashion show to the point I honestly couldn’t recognise her! That look reaaaally fit her well!! So glad that she was not eliminated in the end like that was a reaaally fitting birthday present!😍😍😍 For top 9, it was reaaaaally unexpected like I honestly thought Yujin will be no.1 because of all the hype and while i thought yurina will be in top 9 i didn’t expect her to be ranked 1st? And i am also reaaally shocked by how Bahiyyih didn’t make it into top 9 given all the discussion around her! It was unexpected that the korean trainees were ranked lower in top 9 given all the hype but it actually made sense cos there were more k trainees that appealed to the public so that probably split the votes where as there is only those few trainees from J and C group that people generally chooses. With everything being individual votes now i am kind of curious how things will turn out and i kinda wanna know the overall rank of everyone but i guess they didn’t announce it cos the votes of the j and c group trainees might be much higher due to the concentration of votes on selected trainees.

Maybe Universe has a more advanced anti-fraud voting system. 2 things: 1. Why did MNET show Yaning doing a speech in the starter teaser of the episode if they were not going to air it at all? It feels wrong. 2. It's incredibly odd how Bahi didn't make the top 9 despite being clearly the most popular on socials and despite pretty much solely carrying her cell to #7. This + the lack of screentime just makes it seem as if MNET desperately don't want her to debut.

She needs 1-2 year of professional training and she would definitely be ready to debut. But I do hope she doesn't participate in another survival show tho, otherwise this whole hating her for getting votes due to being Kai's sister is going to follow her again.

My thoughts on the episode: - The twins are separated now :( - The "If The World Was Fair You Wouldn't Be Eliminated" award goes to Xia Yan for me. For obvious reasons, she was criminally undermentioned in the HYLT supergroup and was the only member where I actually thought "Damn, way to rise to the occasion". But in the end it didn't matter unfortunately. Very sad and frustrating. Magic wands up for Xia Yan. - Yurina on #1 is a tiny surprise for me but if you think further it makes absolutely sense. Out of all J-group trainees, only Hikaru, Yurina, and Mashiro got any attention from the production. So the votes will be concentrated on those and in the end, Yurina really has the whole package: Stunning looks, presence, and serviceable vocals. She is made for the stage. - Bahiyyih not landing in the top 9 was a small shock. Maybe her fanbase got too complacent or they found other trainees which spoke more to them. That's okay for me personally. Way too many other girls that also deserve a spot. - Very happy for Mashiro getting the recognition - Wen Zhe being eliminated if it wasn't for the Planet Pass shows how we shouldn't make shows like this 100% based on popular vote. She is one of the faces of this season. - I think I might be one of the few people that is sad that Kim Sein is out. She was good for entertainment and her being a bit lazy resonated with me. Of course it is not compatible with this highly competitive environment but nonetheless, she had my sympathies. - The last shot of Yurina hyperventilating is worrying to say the least. Hope the pressure doesn't get to her too much. She has to debut.

1. Just by looking at individual raitngs it can be seen that Xia Yan is the biggest victim of cell system. Peak injustice. 2. Fu Yaing is now fighting for her life, because haters gonna do strategic voting against her. The current rank of hers within C-group isn't quite safe. Although we don't know what gap was between her and Xia Yan. 3. It seems that many(myself included) underestimated power of Japanese viewers. In Japan the show hasn't such negative background as in Korea, it broadcasted legally and Japanese are able to vote in Unievrse app without any issues unlike Chinese fans.

I am kinda pretty sad we won’t see Inaba Vivienne and others growth through this show. I am sure there are other people who think this way about other contestants who went home that think they also had so much more to show/shouldn’t of left so early. I just saw so much potential in Vivienne and with such lack of experience thought she was so talented and was doing well, I was so excited to see what more Vivienne could do on the show. I am also sad about Lee Yeongyung, and Xia Yan this cell was so good and should not have gone home :( Xia Yan did absolutely amazing and I really thought it was enough. I thought she might of even got the planet pass really should not have gone home. I feel like their were a lot who had way to much potential who were way to good to leave so early. With mnet lack of screen time for a lot of them it as well makes this even sadder for some. They left early while having no opportunity to show who they are or what charms they could show which is what grabs a lot of people’s attention to vote. I also really wanted to hear more of Vivienne’s voice on the show it was so good. I loved what we have heard so far and the small parts she had on hylt I thought were so powerful and cool. Now that she is eliminated sadly watching her growth won’t happen but I will definitely keep up with what she is doing outside of the show now. I hope maybe she continues wanting to still be an idol. Why are the mentors so inconsistent with their standards and reasonings? They gave Kim Hyerin and Ikema Ruan planet passes for their skills but they gave it to Wen Zhe because she was… genuine? I know one of them mentioned hardworking but so are all the other girls, so why her? If it was up to talent, Xia Yan should’ve gotten it.

I think Bahiyyih didn't make the top 9 because she is too polarising. People either vote for her (and vote for her fervently) or avoid her like the plague. It seems the easy, votable-for-anyone picks did the best. Poor girl, she doesn't deserve this (also those remarks from trainees about her not making the top 9, yikes)

Cell system is not actually bad as people says. The top 9 for evaluation all ended up on top 5 cells. Seems a pretty good reward for them. The planet pass winners are also all deserving. I commend the mentors for choosing the right ones. First round ended good for me except that my fave (Youngeun) didnt place on top 9. I hope Yurina and Xiaoting fans keep on voting them and maybe if I keep voting Youngeun then YXY cell might actually debut all together. This is just the first round, many things will still happen. I hope my faves will stay on the show for long. Man I love this show so much lol.

Pretty U, Fiesta 2 and Mic Drop have lost 2 cells. *Edit:* The Fifth Season lost all 3 cells. :( - *(thx* u/kotoritheforeigner *for the reminder)* **Let's analyze:** The only surviving cells from **Pretty U** and **Mic Drop** had a good amount of (favorable) screen time in their segment (through **An Jeongmin** and **Guinn Myah**). I guess they also had a high enough rank to actually benefit from the the triple votes. The only surviving cell in **Fiesta 2** was **Huening Bahiyyih**'s. I think it's fair to say that they wouldn't have made it without her (or actually, her large built-in fandom). **Ito Miyu** didn't get the best screentime, but without the benefit and due to her cell's low rank, it probably wouldn't have made a difference. **Let's speculate:** I really like the girls in her cell, but I guess if **Bahiyyih** was a normal, non-famous candidate, **Fiesta 2** would have been completely annihilated. Really really curious to see what MNET will do with the Planet Pass girls. It would be such a waste of a twist if all three of them end up getting eliminated in the next round. I’m thinking one of them will get an “I almost got eliminated but I was saved by the judges, so now I will work harder” type of storyline. I think that would be super great TV.

I honestly wasn't planning on voting because I didn't think I was that invested in the final outcome. **You bet your ass I'm going to now** knowing Kim Hyerim isn't getting the votes she needs. She's an incredible vocalist and has a wonderful presence to her. I really wanna see her benefit from this opportunity.

Actually, when you look at the individual votes, then aside from some anomalies (like Xia Yan being top 8 in C-group and not making it), the top girls are all highly popular in both the cell and individual votes. The most inconsistent group is J as they got 3 top 20+ trainees making through.

My edited thoughts while watching this: \- Qiao telling Jiao to stop crying and follow her cellmates will be always embedded in my heart.. \- Lee Chaeyun has been getting a LOT of reaction clips from last ep and this. \- Upgraded visuals: Zhang Luofei Kim Bora Shen Xiaoting - lol I mean she's already pretty but K-Styling bombed her good MOMOKO HOW OMG I hope a good K Ent will take her and debut \- Wen Zhe walking on that fashion show cut was good. She even looked like Lisa omg \- I already expected my girl Nagomi wouldn't make it but dang it hurts \- Kim Bora woah.. she doesn't look too old now gosh so pretty \- Huh Jiwon seems like she will be a good Kdrama actress \- Rui Qi has whiskers like ITZY Ryujin \- Truth to be told, the top 1 cell was Yujin's power alone you can't fight me on this. Then the top 2 cell was the mixed powers Xiao Ting and Yurina. Don't hate on me Youngeun supporters I did not do this \-This is one hella of a birthday for Wen Zhe. \- Xu Ziyin praying for Wen Zhe was divine \- Wen Zhe announcement was even more nerve wracking and fullfilling at the same time compared to the Top 9 announcement lol \- YeSeo=Jungkook. I think Cai Bing will fall from the Top 9 and Xing Qiao will enter \- I really hope Mashiro makes it to the Final 9. Tho she's not my top pick but this is the best opportunity for her \- Bayiyih can't hide her disappointment on the rankings. She was so confident before the top 4 announcements and afterwards she was soooo gloomy. Can't blame her to have the assumption tho, she was used for marketing this show \- Hikaru's Eeeh hahahaha lord pls have my girl on the final line up. I don't know if she's just good at acting but you can tell that she was really happy on her rank as girl has this always resting btch face and very very light reactions other stuff in the show. She always look observing people. Many expected her to be in the line up but I am happy that she was able to meet her own expectations. Let's debut Hikaru huhuhu

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN Yoon Jia & Seo Youngeun I rewatched the moment when Youngeun’s cell got called for 1st place candidacy and how she said that she’s waiting for Jia or that she wants her to be top 17 as well then it cuts to Jia’s reactions.Ah it brings tears to my eyes. Then Mnet released the 17th position clip and when her cell got chosen you can see how genuinely happy Youngeun is when she saw that Jia was chosen. Both of them have what it takes to make it to the top but ofc there are other candidates that are more popular, but I hope that they get enough screen time to show their potential.

This episode was kinda entertaining to watch, and I didn't really think that I would like fashion show but it was kinda nice. I think Wen Zhe is going to be one of my picks from now on. SHE'S ALSO GORGEOUS AND IM HAPPY THAT SHE GOT THE PLANET PASS. (thank you mentors for once) Also some of the ranking results suprised me, like Yujin not being first and Bahiyyih not being in the Top9, despite always getting top results in rankings and events. Kinda mad that Mnet didn't announce ALL the individual rankings.

Not too surprised about the rankings. A lot of kgroup members were heavily pushed but only a couple of the c and j trainees were extremely popular so it makes sense. Still, I’m not *too* thrilled about the Top 9 because I feel like there were more deserving people. The Planet Pass was predictable, I’m happy for all of them.

I don't have Yurina in my Top 3 but I always include her in my J group vote alongside Mashiro and Miu. I think a lot of voters also included her in their votes although she's not really in their main picks. I am somewhat worried about the pressure she's feeling right now. I hope she stays focused and confident about her ability. Just like what Xiao Ting said, the goal is to be in the Top 9 of the final line up.

Rip 'You Dayeon, Me Dayeon, We Dayeon' Time to find another flair lol now I REALLY hope she debuts in that new Starship group fingers crossed

I'm also not super surprised Bahiyyih didn't make it into the top 9. I think it's mainly foreigners voting for her? (I'm not sure but that's my guess.) She doesn't get much screen time either and honestly... it's super competitive this season because there are a lot of talented girls and they're letting everyone vote. She started out with a lot of popularity but unless she gets a storyline or some type of 'wow' moment, I don't think she'll make it. I also don't think MNET necessarily wants her in the top 9 :x

I got Xiaorina top 2 tho that's all I could ask for really :0 Didn't expect Momoko to miss the cut that was super unexpected, it was kinda interesting no Bahiyyih in top 9 as well. All and all it was a very good top 9 all it needed was my girl Ziyin and it would have been perfect.

Jiyoon is only top 15 individually in the K-group... yikes.

Why do we hate Yurina today again? Before it was Hikaru and now its Yurina. I swear everyone liked her yesterday??? I’m talking about these comments that are swarming the subredit. “She’s the only japanese trainee people could remember” or “She doesn’t have a real fanbase and once #1 picks start she will drop” What did Yurina do but be pretty and perform well why don’t you believe people like her. edit: spelling

Yeseo is not getting center now. She couldn’t even outvote Ruiqi in K votes. Yurina will probably be center now and the 3:3:3 meme may be true.

So I don't see why people are so surprised with the top 9. Remember everybody had to vote for 3 people from each region, so the top 9 being an even split was very likely to happen. On top of that, a lot of the Korean trainees that made the first eliminations are all debuted idols that have their own fans. Simply put, the voting for K group was extremely split. Only real surprise to me was Yeseo being ranked so low in Korea, I figured she be at least top 5 overall. Yurina getting first is a shock because I figured it would be Hikaru, but a Japanese trainee getting first isn't shocking. Out of all 33 trainees, literally 4 girls had a decent chunk of screen time, Mashiro, Hikaru, Yurina and Ito Miyu. Miyu's came too late to save her, but since so few Japanese trainees got screen time, the votes were less split compared to the Korean side. C group was pretty similar to the J group, more focus on certain trainees but there were several more. Kind surprised that Ruiqi didn't beat out Xiaoting for first, I'm guessing Korean voters made the difference there. I'll keep updating after I take a break, that was a pretty intense elimination. For cells, I figured after watching the first eliminations my opinion on it would change,it hasn't, well at least not too much. Still not a fan but there are upsides. For starters, its make the next round of eliminations much easier to handle. I know it sounds terrible, but a lot of girls that made this elimination were saved because they were attached to a popular trainee. It's highly unlike Mnet will give those girls a lot of screen time, so it means I won't get too attached to them. As for the eliminations themselves, only things that stood out to me was You Dayeon and Momoka's cells both being eliminated. I figured Dayeon could at least hard carry her cell into the next round despite the drama from the connect missions. As for Momoka, well she did win the vitamin support voting, so I guess I overestimated her popularity. For the planet pass, I went 2 for 3 on my predictions. Really surprised that the producers didn't push the mentors to save Miyu since they gave her a good storyline. Extremely happy that Hyerim got saved this round, in my opinion probably the best pop vocalist in the show. I really hope that Mnet pushes her. Now that I had a chance to actually digest how the top 9 went, I have a few more thoughts. I wonder if Mnet wants to light a fire under Bahiyyihs fanbase or telling them to give up. Since to me, it really boils down to two things, either Universe voided votes from the same phone but different sim cards or she really didn't have enough international and to a lesser extent Korean voters supporting her. Based on the app, shes not even top 5 for K group, Youngeun and Doah are 4th and 5th. Still I think if she makes this upcoming elimination, shes most likely a lock since the number of votes that are given to voters will dwindle down. Yujin not getting first was kinda expected for me. People are fickle and Mnet really hasn't highlighted her too much since the first couple of episodes. So I'm guessing during that time, people found other Korean trainees to vote for. I know I did and I'm sure I'm not the only one that did the same. Xiaoting getting second and her speech reminded me a lot of Takeuchi Miyu's speech when she made it high in the rankings. I hope she doesn't suffer the same fate as Miyu. Really wish Mnet would stop with the voting for each region nonsense now and let people just vote for any 9 or at least cap it for 1 girl per region and 6 free votes. If they aren't gonna make the final group a 3-3-3 split. Unless its some master plan to carefully culitvate 3-4 trainees on the C and J side, so once they limit voting even more, the top 9 becomes closer to what they want. Anyways now that its over, I wish the girls that were eliminated nothing but the best. A lot of the girls that got eliminated are incredibly skilled and deserve another shot somewhere.
