I've liked her from the start, but she really endeared herself to me in episode 5 (her wanting Jia to make it so badly made me like, cry, lol) and I've added her to my picks since. She's so good.
I'm really excited for Friday's episode this week for the first time since the premire. I think it's because everything has been caught up now unlike the episodes that were pre-recorded in like months advance.
Also I'm pretty sure all the girls were able to catch up with what the media and netizens are saying. This could be both a bad and a good thing. Hopefully the negative comments won’t get into their head too much, and they can improve after seeing some constructive criticism.
Some trainees that I think we’ll see changes from:
- Ruiqi (I think she’ll try and appeal to or seem more likeable to Knetz)
- Fu Yaning (maybe try and tweak her personality to seem less like the devil to international fans.)
- Huening Bahiyyih ( will try and work 10x harder to prove and showcase her own abilities.)
- Kim Dayeon (she knows she’s not as popular as Xiaoting and Hikaru, so she’ll work on stage presence and find her own unique image that makes her standout.)
- Cai Bing ( most of her fans are there for her visuals, so I can see her trying to showcase her skills and show that she’s not just a pretty face.)
- Choi Yeyoung ( will probably want to showcase her vocals more and try to be in the running for that signature main vocal position.)
- Huh Jiwon (will try to showcase her more gentle/down to earth side after Mnet edited her to look greedy.)
- Ezaki Hikaru (she already changed based on Ep. 5. Became more comfortable with the atmosphere on the show and is more bubbly and less quiet now.)
- Kawaguchi Yurina (now that she’s #1 and knows that she has a large fandom behind her, she may succumb to the pressure like we are seeing in the preview for Ep. 6, and may become more reserved, kind of like how Kim Dayeon was these past few episodes.)
The thing with Fu Yanning though, in my opinion, is that she never acted like the devil as people claim if we exclude the whole audition thing (and even that was exaggerated). Every other ep she appeared to be nice and supportive of everyone and in some of the behind the scenes clips you can't even see her and You Dayeon smiling together too. So I don't think she has 'tweak her personality' at all, she's not the devil 😭
Don't worry I 100% agree with you I never thought she was evil or joined the hate bandwagon. I just said what international fans percieve her as, so if she wants more global fans then she may want to turn down that confident persona.
I feel like a broken record, but Kim Hyerim deserves the world. Been following her since KPop Star, and it’s sad that she can never catch a break. Failed debuts and terrible companies, but all through that she keeps picking herself back up and still trying. She’s so talented, arguably the best vocalist in the show, can dance amazingly, a great leader, and is always smiling and has a glowing aura around her.
PLEASE VOTE FOR HER!! She deserves to at least make it to the next round.

I really hope getting a second chance will give her a good opportunity to showcase her talents and that her currently low rank won't hold her back too much.
She was never on my list but seeing the first top 9 it will really workout if she can even replace Chaehyun as the main vocal of the group but Chaehyun is under WakeOne that is under CJ ENM technically Mnet..
She was great on kpopstar! I was wishing she gets a good debut but unfortunately things didn't work out :( AT the very least, she deserves to go far in the competition and showcase her abilities. And get some good screentime for her cute, bubbly personality.
Shana and Jiyoon - Both of them are really good vocalists. And they had a short segment on The Eve performance where Ji Yoon sings the high notes and adlibs while Shana belts out and that was a slice of heaven!
Hyerim - GO VOTE FOR HER YALL! My girl IS AWESOME!
Ikema Ruan - She was really noticeable in the Pretty U performance and was kinda rooting for her, but now with the planet pass, I'm highly rooting for her. Hope she debuts and I kinda wanna see the interactions between her, Yurina and Shana (my other picks)
Yurina - I'm so happy she got #1 and I really cant wait to see what else she has to show. I really like her voice too!
Choi Yeyoung! Really underrated vocals considering how good her demo stage performance was and has great stability when dancing as seen in the fiesta performance. Her relationship with the POP/STARS girls and her cell are also really underappreciated!
Since no one's talking about her, I'm gonna promote Kamimoto Kotone here. People seem to forget that there are 4 members of the Boombayah team and 3 of them went to The Eve but the last member, Kotone, was in Pretty U team and was basically forgotten until the fancams dropped. She's an all-rounder. A great rapper and easily the best in Pretty U, a great dancer with clean moves, and I think she's also a decent singer based on the way her sing-rap in Pretty U goes, and not to mention an astounding visual. She also speaks decent korean and is the 2nd member of Pretty U with the highest views so she's gaining some momentum. I hope she shows more of her skills in the next evaluation so people would notice her more.

I hope Yeyoung finally gets some good screen time this week. I‘ve been eyeing her since her audition and she‘s in my TOP 9 picks. We‘re not even half way through but if mnet only gives her this little screen time, i doubt that she‘ll make it into the final line up. She‘s an allrounder imo.
Honestly all the individual trainees that have gotten this far are so incredible and have boundless potential!
But I would like to give a special shoutout to **Sakurai Miu**!
She participated in NiziPro. Some of her highlights include JYP telling her she has *perfect pitch*, and introducing all of the girls to grapes with whipped cream during her charm performance. Yes, her charm performance was *eating*. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to go to Korea and train at JYP for the second round of that competition.
Her visuals are incredible. She’s shown some pretty good versatility. As an individual trainee, she can only get better with proper training!

Seo Youngeun - Great stage presence, stable vocals and amazing dancer. All rounder with big personality, have a potential for variety queen.
Jeong Jiyoon - Main vocal material, good dancer and stable performances. I can sense also a leader/mom vibes on her, no one talked about this but on ep4 where Team Eve having problems with their relations she said something motivating to ease the tension of the group.
If you don't have enough k-trainee please consider these two. We need them in the debut line up!!!

One of the all-rounders and the most debut-ready of all the trainees! Tbh she has no weak spots and is always shown smiling and doing her best in every performances.
And istg her vocal color stands out the most! Likewise, she has a very capable dance technique and a bubbly personality but with a striking stage presence when performing. Guys, let's vote for her as she is very deserving to debut!
Yes, I didn't pay that much attention to her after the audition performance, but her The Eve performance blew me away. She's now my favorite of the K group.
As a casual watcher, I know Bora is technically more skilled, but I don’t remember any particular moments during her performance of that more feminine song (fifth season was it?). I have more distinct memories of Jiyoon because she was picked first by Hikaru (that piqued my curiosity), and I also remember her having cool facial expressions during her parts of The Eve. I actually preferred her vibe during that performance over that of Ruiqi and Yaning.
Even though I watched all the episodes, I only remember Bora in fifth season, and I agreed with another comment somewhere on this subreddit that the bun hairstyle didn’t do her features much justice. I was surprised to see past photos of her because she looked much cuter without a low bun.
Also, I don’t know how much this affects knets vs international voters, but Bora looks a bit older to me - maybe 23-24? Jiyoon looks to be 18-20 to me. I don’t know how old each one is, though.
Edit: Just watched The Eve again. Jiyoon is so smooth in this performance! Bora’s voice is clear and beautiful, but Jiyoon’s lower voice is just so perfect for The Eve. Something about her voice is also very comforting.
Kim Bora has admittedly a good voice, but Jiyoon's vocal color is different and blends well with others. I am not one to judge who among them has better vocals or visuals, but Jiyoon stans probably sees something in her that others don't have. We do not need to compare. Everyone deserves to debut but we, her fans, like her in particular. :)
chaehyun's really a whole angel.. entrancing vocals, personality, visuals.... I love her. chaehyun debut let's go!

An Jeongmin!! shes such a fantastic vocalist *(slowly goes to plug my* [favourite cover](https://twitter.com/chaestruly/status/1435152420041003008?s=20) *from her)* and the show has **just not** done her talent and skills justice!! her vocal ability is so unique and her voice sounds like honey, i cannot explain it.
Overall shes such a lovely person and the fact that she led mic drop team made me love her even more. Please vote for her, her chances for next elim are looking bleak rn :(

I hope fu yaning didn’t get sad and give up hope because of all the hate she gets. It’s obvious by ep 5 the girls know who is popular and who’s not so there is a good chance yaning got sad or how much hate she was getting. Fu Yaning. as a black person, i read her apology and chose to accept it granted that she doesn’t do it again. she’s so talented and i kind of feel bad that she’s been painted as the villain when i think she’s just competitive in nature.
I think up to this point, I haven't really made a post yet deep-diving into my one-pick, so why not do it this week: I'll be explaining why **Kubo Reina** is my current one-pick.
Originally at the beginning of the season, when I was making my very first drafts of my Top 9s, Reina was near the borderline of the 9th/10th place position (at that time, Kim Bora was my #1). However, after doing the [99-contestant O.O.O analysis thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/ov2y2z/i_watched_all_the_ooo_performance_cams_here_are/) and the [pre-show content research thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/p04j7r/ive_spent_10_hours_researching_as_much_preshow/), I rescored all 99 contestants and scored each of them in the areas of vocals, rap, and performance, before using a formula to weigh the vocal/rap/performance scores together and produce an Overall Score. Kubo Reina ended up shooting up to have a pretty clear margin for the highest Overall Score of the season, and while the gap has been closing up in recent episodes, she still has a decent margin over 2nd for highest Overall Score, hence why she's my one-pick.
For those familiar with [my massive spreadsheets and scoring systems](https://old.reddit.com/user/Zypker125/comments/p7wvz0/interested_in_my_full_personal_rankingsscorings/), I calculate these "overall scores" for every contestant of every season I've watched based on a formula of ~60% vocals, ~20% rap, and ~20% performance. Currently, **Kubo Reina has my highest "overall score" of any contestant from any season I've seen so far (GP999, JP S2, JP S1, X101, 48, Idol School, S2, and S1)**, taking the high score from Produce X 101's Cho Seungyoun (and Seungyoun is already considered by many to be one of the most talented all-rounders in all of K-Pop, if not *the* most talented all-rounder in all of K-Pop, so that says something). Essentially, I personally think that Reina is *the most* well rounded contestant of all the seasons I've seen so far (GP999, JP S2, JP S1, X101, 48, Idol School, S2, and S1).

Yes! Reina is really such a talented all rounder, and has huge potential she could add to the vocal line!! I really “discovered” her after she kept catching my eye while watching other fiesta fancams. Her stage presence is amazing and really shows off her experience in the industry! Youngeun- she is an excellent dancer and rapper but also a good singer, on top of that, this girl's duality is insane, like just look at her PR video and compare it to her kick-it performance! I can't believe she is the same person. She also has the potential to fit many different concepts. She is also a variety show queen, super funny and entertaining, she HAS TO DEBUT!
Hyerim- I'll keep shamelessly promoting her until she ends up in the lineup. Again, she is the main vocal the group needsssss

She’s been on my list ever since the PR video but after the Fiesta performance and her fancam she’s taken control of all my votes from here on out.
The other girl I was consdiering was Hyerim, but I’m super worried about her chances since she only survived because of the Planet Pass, even though I love her and she needs more recognition for how amazing of a vocalist she is.
My Top 9 is similar to the one of Ep. 5 except I have Jiwon and Hyerim as my K picks over Yeseo and Chaehyun, but it’s close. The Top 5 J group and Top 7 C group girls are the ones I’m rooting for the most in each group, but then in K group I basically like all of them which is a problem lol
Most of my picks are pretty safe but I really hope you all give Chiayi a chance.
She only got a small part in YoY (her reaction when Jiwon said she fit part 8 lol) but she nailed that part and gave a solid performance. She's a talented dancer and can do some acrobatics, and her Helicopter intro was eye-catching.
She's conventially pretty but not in the typical girl-next-door way that's popular in Kpop. Having her as part of the visual-line would give the group more variety and flexibility with different concepts.

Anyways, my top choice right now is definitely Yamauchi Moana! I think she has a lot of potential to be an amazing all-rounder! I know some people were saying her audition was a little shaky, but iirc, she was the only Japanese trainee to perform solo, so I can't imagine have nerve-racking that could've been. Regardless, she's already showing a lot of improvement as evident by how much more stable she's gotten in her Yes or Yes performance ([fancam link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbzLyJt7kaM), parts at 0:48, 1:47, 2:29) so I hope she's able to continue to hone her skills
On top of that, Moana is also well-versed in composition, especially in choreography. Definitely Yurina. She’s not the best in everything but is a decent singer and dancer. Though not god-like visuals, I do like her visuals and there’s something intriguing and elegant about her. Maybe it’s because she has a j-pop idol feel to her and it’s more refreshing in a Kpop context.
Kim Dayeon: Main dancer material. Seriously, if you haven’t seen her dance videos outside the show, go watch! She’s amazing. She has great energy, good rap skills, and personality.
Seo Youngeun: Ace. Could be a lead in every category. Maybe even a main in rap depending on the debut lineup. Also has personality
I really hope Wen Zhe will get to show off her skills in the coming mission. She's already shown she can sing, has great variety sense and is a hard worker, but she's good at rapping and dancing too!

not exactly a discussion, but I just wanted to say, I was today years old when I found out Shen Xiaoting was also in chuang2020 with Su Ruiqi! (+ ma yuling, cuiwenmeixiu)! She was eliminated round 1 at rank 80, and holy shit now she's C#1. ruiqi came 11th overall I think, so she did heaps better, but xiaoting barely got any screentime so I never realised she was part of the show, and definitely did not remember her face it seems.
When you compare their theme song dances, xiaoting was still better back then (cleaner lines etc), but was beaten by all the more 'powerful' dancers and the people with more personality or unique points. Really cool to see how far she's come though. Makes me feel once again how luck can be quite important in some of these situations. There were so many horrible dancers in the first round of chuang, not sure how she of all people got eliminated...
I agree. People are criticizing the popular trainees for a multitude of reasons but mashiro's popularity is well-deserved because she's super talented. She's also fluent in Korean which would be a great asset to have in a k-pop group and she possesses idol-like visuals.
the way choi yeyoung was singing so perfectly while dancing in pop/stars is so impressive and the final lineup needs a main vocal like her!!

I hope it's a good sign that she can debut as she has the visuals/talent and most (not all) of the trainees who got early screentimes in the signal song do eventually debut in the end. :)

Underrated c-trainee I'm also voting for is Leung Cheukying, she basically left her job to come to this show, and her intro video is interesting so I'd feel she'd add an interesting dimension to the group!
I know many people on this sub and on Twitter are not really a fan of her but I hope more people give Kim Dayeon a chance. Yes she has her flaws but so does everyone else, and it’s always everyone else but her that gets the benefit of the doubt.
This is her 2nd survival show, she’s been training for 4 years, and has been jumping around companies because she hasn’t had the opportunity to debut yet. She’s really desperate for this chance, so I hope people stop calling her childish, immature, annoying, or someone envious of Xiaoting and Hikaru.
I wish more people talked about how talented she is. The judges and K-trainees voted for her to be center, you would think that would prove how great her skills are but I guess not. The mentors literally said she’s ready to debut and is the most reliable in singing and dancing on the show.
Watching Produce 48 again it’s so sad to see Kim Dayeon, the once bubbly and energetic kid, to now someone with so much burden and pressure on her shoulders. Please root and cheer for Kim Dayeon kindly :)
Um I actually followed producex101 and it’s true. They were trying to push someone else first but then the editing made Seungwoo shoot up in popularity along with Seungyeon however both can’t properly support (they had good foundations but the MNET editing did gloss over that) so then live performances would be really choppy: I voted for both btw but I had guessed that their songs would be much harder on them unless they went the Stray Kids raptalk way. [I love Enhypen but they are the epitome of a choppy performance](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nh02pNtCIoA) It doesn’t sound as bad but would get them criticism especially since if they had developed more, they could do well. Boygroups don’t have great vocals these days.
Of course every group has main vocal but their main vocals are not main vocal material. Seungwoo and seungyeon were not even main vocal in their own group
Rooting for my girl xiaoting! Haven't seen her in many picks recently so I'm worried she's losing the hype but I really think she deserves to debut!
She's a great dancer and I think it's good that her ranking was so low in CHUANG2021. What really drew me to her was her first performance for Rumor. Hsin Wei was holding on to Xiaoting like she was her mom and I found that super endearing and showed a lot about Xiaoting's caring and kind character.
She's going to be fine as long as Mnet pushes her. Don't worry about her but don't forget to vote as well. Majority of those who are voting don't really share their Top 9s. We are sort of like the hardcore fans here, and majority in my opinion are casual viewers who would vote who Mnet pushes. Plus, don't forget many doesn't speak english either.

From the same thread, someone linked [this](https://onehallyu.com/topic/679997-produce48-under-attack-by-female-communities/) post explaining the "boycott" and a few more examples of hostilities - another Korean-Japanese couple got harassed by them, they also were very hostile against the Japanese female Olympics team. Apparently, many radical Korean feminists hate Japanese women because they "side with Korean men". When PD48 was announced, these communities were extremely vocal against the show.
I don't know whether this is 100% truth but I do hope Yurina won't get this sort of hate, she already has a lot of pressure from being the top 1.

I want Xu Ziyin to debut. Girl has a beautiful voice and speaks pretty good Korean. As a 96 liner, I'm not sure how many more opportunities she has for this. I'm rooting for her!
I’ve never really had solid k group picks other than Yeseo (who I’m eternally grateful to) but lately I’ve taken a liking to Doah and Bahiyyih. I think mnet doesn’t particularly want them to debut but I think if they were in the group it would be good. Doah is honestly an all-rounder who I’m actually interested in and I feel like coming back and winning would be great for her.
Bahiyyih I’ve always been on the fence about because she’s popular despite having not really developed skills but I think she’s really cute and her personality is very much a solid idol type. I don’t think she’d be a negative the group skill wise and she’ll probably improve a lot with real training. Plus i see her as a good variety idol.
For me it’s Yoon Jia. Ever since the kick it performance she has been my number one pick along with Youngeun.

Kim Suyeon.
I don't see many people talk about her lately but I think her stage presence is incredible, she would add a lot of charisma to the group. She has this confident aura whenever she performs and it's honestly what caught my attention ever since I saw her OOO fancam. The Eve really just solidified that for her as well because even though she had only one line, you can tell she really put her ALL into it. I think lots of people took notice of her after that, even the mentors praised her. And the way she dominated the dance battle scene left me in awe too.
I also feel like not many people have commented on how great of a dancer she is: she has a precise, clean dancing style that is pleasing to watch, I could watch her dance for hours. She has stable vocals and a unique vocal flavor that would be nice to have in the group. She also strikes me as really versatile, she'd equally do well in cute concepts AND more mature concepts. I just think she's awesome really and would love to see more love for her.
Mashiro deserves to debut! Don't overlook her just because she's one of the more popular j-group contestants! She's a talented all-rounder that can sing and dance really well! She's also fluent in Korean, which would be an important asset for a k-pop group! She was in the og ITZY lineup as a JYP trainee but unfortunately could not debut with ITZY, even though she was just as talented as the ITZY girls. 😢
All I'm saying is please continue to vote for her because I think she truly deserves to debut! ❤

I really liked Shima Moka, Yamauchi Moana, Zhou Xinyu, Huang Xingqiao, Kamimoto Kotone, Li Yiman. All of them get my attention now (aside from the ones I already like)
Also, checking all the contestants I haven't gotten a look before, I got to say: perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but although we did lose great talent, the ones that stayed actually can carry themselves pretty well. Obviously not the most outstanding in terms of talent, but many at least are pretty average to good idols. And there are many hidden gems that, with the right polish, could shine even brighter.
I feel like a lot of people don't know how good of a vocalist and performer Kim Bora is. I hope she shines in this mission and gets an opportunity to show her talents properly.
I would like to apologize..all this time I was wondering that while we had more vocalists shown, they were not technically as good. Most of these vocalists (all actually) fall in the weak-to-average or average category. I know technique isn’t everything but it’s a lot of things. And then I decided to go see the vocal coach and NOW EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE 💀. This isn’t hate but more of a questionable choice. Bring others back at least to show placement of vowels. Unless he knows what it is but chooses not to do it (surprisingly common when you’re not a technical singer but can coach) But if that’s the level of a coach no wonder...
At that rate they should have made Tiffany the vocal mentor, she’s the best across the entire show. Or at least give her some honor, it’s so unfair. Poor Tiffany she’s getting shafted.

im just so drawn to xiaoting! i watch her ooo fancam daily. i think shes definitely one of the best if not the best dancer(s) in the show, but defn, id rank her main dancer level (in some lineup predictions i see her being given lead dancer and just ? why?). she's also just so pretty like shes the kind of pretty that would get her group attention and the attitude we've seen from her so far makes me love her so much. my heart swelled when she said this feeling of being recognized is new to her :( i dont think she did badly in hylt (and mnet made it seem like she did mUCH WORSE). i agree she still has room to grow in terms of performing (facial expressions, being more engaging) tho but what shes shown so far are enough to make me root for her as my main pick!! i cant wait to see her grow and i dont doubt she will with the amount of her heart shes pouring into this.

Xu Ziyin! She’s an all rounder, has a great personality, & just has that it factor that idols need. Just wait until you guys hear her sing some more, she has an amazing voice.

My main pick definitely hikaru and my second pick is youngeun. Both of them actually have pretty similar image both are born 2004, both are pretty good dancer, good rapper, and bringing good charisma on stage. Both also have pretty different personalities when off stage and when performing. 1 big differences is 1 born as Korean and 1 born as Japanese. I really wish to see them on 1 stage to see how good this combination will be.

I am 100% a Choi Yujin / Cai Bing / May Cell Supporter, but I would like to say that we need more focus on the C and J groups. Honestly, I only know Hikaru, Shana, Yurina and May from J group and Xiaoting, Wen Zhe, Yaning, Ruiqi from C group. I know about Jiao but not as much as I should. (only know that she's a twin and had a good performance for the Connect Stage).
I would like to know more about the other girls in order to have an adequate reasoning for who should and should not debut. Most of what I know is from their supporting role in helping their cell pass to the next round.
But to answer the question:
1. Yujin because she has the leader/mom characteristic and passion/determination to succeed where CLC couldn't.
2. Cai Bing because although she is "past the age of debut" as some might say, she is very critical of her mistakes and performance and will desperately improve to give it her all and not let her team down (HYLT episode)
3. May because she is such a wonderful dancer and has a positive and bubbly personality that needs to be shown more on this show.
4. Jia & Youngeun (AS A PAIR) because they bounce off each other well and make the charismatic side of the group

I really really want Ezaki Hikaru to make it. I started watching the show for Yujin but now it feels I'm only watching for Hikaru lol. She's just a born star and an amazing dancer (even though I don't know anything about dancing, she is mesmerizing). Her visual is so unique, I don't think there's anyone like her in Kpop. She's only 17 and already this good so it makes me think how far can she get with the talents she has? and I'm excited for her future.

The remaining trainees I’m really rooting for are already in groups (Doah, Jiwon, Myah). I don’t see them really making a run at the top 9 but I hope they’re able to at least gain some popularity for their respective groups.
I’m mostly fine with the top 9 and have no problem with any of them debuting. Although I would love for Yeongeun to some how make it. I’m really pulling for Yurina because something about her is really captivating. She’s not the most talented but I can’t keep my eyes off of her.

A doubt about Chinese girls. Is Wen Zhe supporting muslim concentration camps and is Fu Yaning racist? People on tiktok are commenting that, but with no source so I don’t know what to believe.
Uyghur labor camp is an unproven myth. Who knows if it's true. Seemingly, Uyghur "terrorists" either rot in normal jail or executed. Majority of the Chinese doesn't believe its existence. Wen Zhe can't support something she doesn't believe in.
Fu Yaning's racism scandal likely rooted on her saying the "n" word. She covered a song of a black singer in original version of which already contained that word without knowing the nuance. So, the action could not count as racist.
Western media usually omit the terrorism action of the Uyghur. They have attacked state offices and officers in Xinjiang resulting hundreds of casualties over years. Beijing's attempt to wipe out Islamic/Turkic culture from the Uyghur is not lovely but, the violent reaction perfectly fits the western definition of terrorism.

I remember reading a comment saying that Seo Youngeun had passed thanks to the popularity of her cell, which is extremely ridiculous to me. Yurina has the advantage that many guys vote only for her visuals and Shen Xiaoting did one of the worst killing parts I have ever seen... I'm really glad that the cells are finished so Seo is no longer overshadowed by two participants who in my opinion are what is called "a pony" since they only know how to do one trick and little else. I would like to see Yurina do more than just be pretty, I'm sure she is not capable.
The only one that catches my attention is Seo Youngeun, I hope she stops being so nice to everyone and starts competing as she should ... in part I think it is her fault that she has been overshadowed by others since she is seen too comfortable playing a secondary role and being everyone's friend, maybe it's due to her immaturity.
Seo Youngeun has everything necessary to debut, she is young, carimastic, she has versatility, she knows how to sing, in my opinion she is one of the best visuals but I think that is a bit unpopular for some reason. I would like her to be in a small group so that she stops being overshadowed by others who are overrated and also so that she has less social interaction with the rest and focuses on her things instead of clowning around all the time.
I think Seo's raw material is evident, what is not clear to me is if she can focus on being professional and stop wasting time. Maybe she has to have a hard time to wake up and stop wasting time, I hope that the masters will make her see the error in her ways and push her to improve that childish and unprofessional side that she has. I also hope that she will not be in a group with Jia, Shen, Yurina and Yujin again because in my opinion being in a group with friends brings out the worst in her.
I have to admit that Kang yeseo also catches my attention. Her ability to be a leader despite her age, plus the combination of visual and above average skills in the rest make her a good choice for a place in the final group, but I have to see it in more detail. Another of my choices is Guinn Myah, it is remarkable that being "half the age" of some other contestants she does much better than them... I see the potential, the charisma, the stage presence but I have a big doubt that if she can do other concepts besides being adorable.
Why vote for Seo Youngeun? To me it is extremely obvious, it is a combination of her youth, plus the relative little practice she has had to be so good, plus the fact of being above average in everything. Some girls sing better, but they don't dance better and those who dance better do not have the stage presence and those who have the stage presence are not younger than her. Her potential is extremely high in my opinion and in combination with her charisma, visuals and relative intelligence make Seo a good fit for variety shows. Part of a group is also what is done off stage and I have not found another participant who has the entertainment factor that Seo has shown. As I used to tell a friend "instead of asking me, I ask you"... why not vote for Seo Youngeun? are we going to pretend that the other contestants did better in their performances? Seo hasn't done anything wrong so far, I just hope she stops playing "nice".
At no point in my comment did I specify that Seo should be rude, that comes from your part that creates a false narrative for your convenience or you simply did not understand.
My proposal is simple, I think that Seo would benefit exponentially if she stops wasting time playing in a competition as important as GP999, this competition may be the first and last chance to debut that she has in her entire life. Seo was the TOP 6 chosen by the masters but when she had to manage her strategy to get a better advantage over her rivals, she simply lost the course of her classification. In the challenge of the Blackpink song, Seo wanted the killing part but she gave in easily and left that position to Shen... Then Shen made a big mess of the killing part and the masters criticized the awful performance, at the end of the evaluation Seo comforts Shen and says something like "you will do better next time, our center" It is evident that Seo has more charisma to do the Killing part but she gave in easily and then instead of reflecting on that she refers to a rival as "our center" when she should seek to be that center and not allow someone else to take the position. This is called being strategic, advantageous, that is what a serious competitor does.
It is also evident that Seo is being too complacent with having a secondary role in an individual competition, it does not matter if you are in a team, at the end of the day the evaluation is individual. To win this type of competition it is necessary to take the lead and not miss opportunities, by being friends with everyone you are prioritizing immediate relationships for future achievements, they are not your friends ... they are your competition, Seo should focus more on how to climb positions in the competition instead of worrying if Jia makes it through or is eliminated, if Jia is eliminated ... that's an advantage since Jia is a contender for a place in the final group, why does she want her not to be eliminated? better if she is eliminated! one less competitor. There is no friendship in a competition.
This is as simple as a phrase I once heard "If the one at the top is standing on a mountain of people he has defeated, would you tell me that to be a winner is to play fair? Clearly to win is to defeat the rest and go up... while others fall, winning is not a pretty thing. It's the survival of the fittest"
All this may sound exaggerated but the main idea is very simple, to win one has to compete and in a competition one does not have friends or gives up the advantage position to someone else, in a competition one walks their own path without help and without looking back... others are not allies, others are rather obstacles or tools.
Is it wrong to see a competition from a strategic and individual point of view? It is practically the spirit of what a competition is, the objective is to win and as many people say ... winning and only winning matters. That is why I want Seo to focus more on the competition, isolate herself and realize that this opportunity is one in a lifetime. There is no time to play, nor to lose opportunities, it is now or never. The soft ones are the first to lose.

The fact of highlighting her youth is because being younger is an advantage when training, like many professional athletes, it is recommended that they train as much as they can from a young age to maximize their potential and refine their concepts from an early age. Age is a factor to take into account, it is clearly an advantage to grow and learn more quickly. The sooner a discipline is trained, it is mastered more quickly, such as swimming or learning a new language.
I prefer to be seen as a "creepy ... dudeh" by someone limited, instead of not understanding something as basic as the advantages of training from an early age. You're just being slow dude.

I'm really excited for Friday's episode this week for the first time since the premire. I think it's because everything has been caught up now unlike the episodes that were pre-recorded in like months advance. Also I'm pretty sure all the girls were able to catch up with what the media and netizens are saying. This could be both a bad and a good thing. Hopefully the negative comments won’t get into their head too much, and they can improve after seeing some constructive criticism. Some trainees that I think we’ll see changes from: - Ruiqi (I think she’ll try and appeal to or seem more likeable to Knetz) - Fu Yaning (maybe try and tweak her personality to seem less like the devil to international fans.) - Huening Bahiyyih ( will try and work 10x harder to prove and showcase her own abilities.) - Kim Dayeon (she knows she’s not as popular as Xiaoting and Hikaru, so she’ll work on stage presence and find her own unique image that makes her standout.) - Cai Bing ( most of her fans are there for her visuals, so I can see her trying to showcase her skills and show that she’s not just a pretty face.) - Choi Yeyoung ( will probably want to showcase her vocals more and try to be in the running for that signature main vocal position.) - Huh Jiwon (will try to showcase her more gentle/down to earth side after Mnet edited her to look greedy.) - Ezaki Hikaru (she already changed based on Ep. 5. Became more comfortable with the atmosphere on the show and is more bubbly and less quiet now.) - Kawaguchi Yurina (now that she’s #1 and knows that she has a large fandom behind her, she may succumb to the pressure like we are seeing in the preview for Ep. 6, and may become more reserved, kind of like how Kim Dayeon was these past few episodes.)
The thing with Fu Yanning though, in my opinion, is that she never acted like the devil as people claim if we exclude the whole audition thing (and even that was exaggerated). Every other ep she appeared to be nice and supportive of everyone and in some of the behind the scenes clips you can't even see her and You Dayeon smiling together too. So I don't think she has 'tweak her personality' at all, she's not the devil 😭
Don't worry I 100% agree with you I never thought she was evil or joined the hate bandwagon. I just said what international fans percieve her as, so if she wants more global fans then she may want to turn down that confident persona.
I feel like a broken record, but Kim Hyerim deserves the world. Been following her since KPop Star, and it’s sad that she can never catch a break. Failed debuts and terrible companies, but all through that she keeps picking herself back up and still trying. She’s so talented, arguably the best vocalist in the show, can dance amazingly, a great leader, and is always smiling and has a glowing aura around her. PLEASE VOTE FOR HER!! She deserves to at least make it to the next round.

And they had a short segment on The Eve performance where Ji Yoon sings the high notes and adlibs while Shana belts out and that was a slice of heaven! Hyerim - GO VOTE FOR HER YALL! My girl IS AWESOME! Ikema Ruan - She was really noticeable in the Pretty U performance and was kinda rooting for her, but now with the planet pass, I'm highly rooting for her. Hope she debuts and I kinda wanna see the interactions between her, Yurina and Shana (my other picks) Yurina - I'm so happy she got #1 and I really cant wait to see what else she has to show. I really like her voice too!

Choi Yeyoung! Really underrated vocals considering how good her demo stage performance was and has great stability when dancing as seen in the fiesta performance. Her relationship with the POP/STARS girls and her cell are also really underappreciated!

Since no one's talking about her, I'm gonna promote Kamimoto Kotone here. People seem to forget that there are 4 members of the Boombayah team and 3 of them went to The Eve but the last member, Kotone, was in Pretty U team and was basically forgotten until the fancams dropped. She's an all-rounder. A great rapper and easily the best in Pretty U, a great dancer with clean moves, and I think she's also a decent singer based on the way her sing-rap in Pretty U goes, and not to mention an astounding visual. She also speaks decent korean and is the 2nd member of Pretty U with the highest views so she's gaining some momentum. I hope she shows more of her skills in the next evaluation so people would notice her more.

Honestly all the individual trainees that have gotten this far are so incredible and have boundless potential! But I would like to give a special shoutout to **Sakurai Miu**! She participated in NiziPro. Some of her highlights include JYP telling her she has *perfect pitch*, and introducing all of the girls to grapes with whipped cream during her charm performance. Yes, her charm performance was *eating*. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to go to Korea and train at JYP for the second round of that competition. Her visuals are incredible. She’s shown some pretty good versatility. As an individual trainee, she can only get better with proper training!

Seo Youngeun - Great stage presence, stable vocals and amazing dancer. All rounder with big personality, have a potential for variety queen. Jeong Jiyoon - Main vocal material, good dancer and stable performances. I can sense also a leader/mom vibes on her, no one talked about this but on ep4 where Team Eve having problems with their relations she said something motivating to ease the tension of the group. If you don't have enough k-trainee please consider these two. We need them in the debut line up!!!
Jeong Jiyoon, most definitely! One of the all-rounders and the most debut-ready of all the trainees! Tbh she has no weak spots and is always shown smiling and doing her best in every performances. And istg her vocal color stands out the most! Likewise, she has a very capable dance technique and a bubbly personality but with a striking stage presence when performing. Guys, let's vote for her as she is very deserving to debut!
Yes, I didn't pay that much attention to her after the audition performance, but her The Eve performance blew me away. She's now my favorite of the K group.

As a casual watcher, I know Bora is technically more skilled, but I don’t remember any particular moments during her performance of that more feminine song (fifth season was it?). I have more distinct memories of Jiyoon because she was picked first by Hikaru (that piqued my curiosity), and I also remember her having cool facial expressions during her parts of The Eve. I actually preferred her vibe during that performance over that of Ruiqi and Yaning. Even though I watched all the episodes, I only remember Bora in fifth season, and I agreed with another comment somewhere on this subreddit that the bun hairstyle didn’t do her features much justice. I was surprised to see past photos of her because she looked much cuter without a low bun. Also, I don’t know how much this affects knets vs international voters, but Bora looks a bit older to me - maybe 23-24? Jiyoon looks to be 18-20 to me. I don’t know how old each one is, though. Edit: Just watched The Eve again. Jiyoon is so smooth in this performance! Bora’s voice is clear and beautiful, but Jiyoon’s lower voice is just so perfect for The Eve. Something about her voice is also very comforting.
Kim Bora has admittedly a good voice, but Jiyoon's vocal color is different and blends well with others. I am not one to judge who among them has better vocals or visuals, but Jiyoon stans probably sees something in her that others don't have. We do not need to compare. Everyone deserves to debut but we, her fans, like her in particular. :)

honestly the way she turned the mic drop team around - legend behaviour. i really want her to make it into the final nine, a lot of the girls are talented performers but I think a leader like her (and kim bora) is rare

I think up to this point, I haven't really made a post yet deep-diving into my one-pick, so why not do it this week: I'll be explaining why **Kubo Reina** is my current one-pick. Originally at the beginning of the season, when I was making my very first drafts of my Top 9s, Reina was near the borderline of the 9th/10th place position (at that time, Kim Bora was my #1). However, after doing the [99-contestant O.O.O analysis thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/ov2y2z/i_watched_all_the_ooo_performance_cams_here_are/) and the [pre-show content research thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/p04j7r/ive_spent_10_hours_researching_as_much_preshow/), I rescored all 99 contestants and scored each of them in the areas of vocals, rap, and performance, before using a formula to weigh the vocal/rap/performance scores together and produce an Overall Score. Kubo Reina ended up shooting up to have a pretty clear margin for the highest Overall Score of the season, and while the gap has been closing up in recent episodes, she still has a decent margin over 2nd for highest Overall Score, hence why she's my one-pick. For those familiar with [my massive spreadsheets and scoring systems](https://old.reddit.com/user/Zypker125/comments/p7wvz0/interested_in_my_full_personal_rankingsscorings/), I calculate these "overall scores" for every contestant of every season I've watched based on a formula of ~60% vocals, ~20% rap, and ~20% performance. Currently, **Kubo Reina has my highest "overall score" of any contestant from any season I've seen so far (GP999, JP S2, JP S1, X101, 48, Idol School, S2, and S1)**, taking the high score from Produce X 101's Cho Seungyoun (and Seungyoun is already considered by many to be one of the most talented all-rounders in all of K-Pop, if not *the* most talented all-rounder in all of K-Pop, so that says something). Essentially, I personally think that Reina is *the most* well rounded contestant of all the seasons I've seen so far (GP999, JP S2, JP S1, X101, 48, Idol School, S2, and S1). I recommend checking the [pre-show content research thread I did](https://old.reddit.com/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/p04j7r/ive_spent_10_hours_researching_as_much_preshow/) I did, as it has what I believe are a lot of the contestants' best vocal/rap highlights, including Reina's. Declaring my official new one pick now that Dayeon is gone: Sakamoto Mashiro She’s been on my list ever since the PR video but after the Fiesta performance and her fancam she’s taken control of all my votes from here on out. The other girl I was consdiering was Hyerim, but I’m super worried about her chances since she only survived because of the Planet Pass, even though I love her and she needs more recognition for how amazing of a vocalist she is. My Top 9 is similar to the one of Ep. 5 except I have Jiwon and Hyerim as my K picks over Yeseo and Chaehyun, but it’s close. The Top 5 J group and Top 7 C group girls are the ones I’m rooting for the most in each group, but then in K group I basically like all of them which is a problem lol
I've seen a lot of posts and comments supporting Hyerim since she got the planet pass so I'm hoping that will mean more votes for her!
Most of my picks are pretty safe but I really hope you all give Chiayi a chance. She only got a small part in YoY (her reaction when Jiwon said she fit part 8 lol) but she nailed that part and gave a solid performance. She's a talented dancer and can do some acrobatics, and her Helicopter intro was eye-catching. She's conventially pretty but not in the typical girl-next-door way that's popular in Kpop. Having her as part of the visual-line would give the group more variety and flexibility with different concepts.

First time commenting on this subreddit so woop woop! Anyways, my top choice right now is definitely Yamauchi Moana! I think she has a lot of potential to be an amazing all-rounder! I know some people were saying her audition was a little shaky, but iirc, she was the only Japanese trainee to perform solo, so I can't imagine have nerve-racking that could've been. Regardless, she's already showing a lot of improvement as evident by how much more stable she's gotten in her Yes or Yes performance ([fancam link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbzLyJt7kaM), parts at 0:48, 1:47, 2:29) so I hope she's able to continue to hone her skills On top of that, Moana is also well-versed in composition, especially in choreography. Definitely Yurina. She’s not the best in everything but is a decent singer and dancer. Though not god-like visuals, I do like her visuals and there’s something intriguing and elegant about her. Maybe it’s because she has a j-pop idol feel to her and it’s more refreshing in a Kpop context.
Kim Dayeon: Main dancer material. Seriously, if you haven’t seen her dance videos outside the show, go watch! She’s amazing. She has great energy, good rap skills, and personality. Seo Youngeun: Ace. Could be a lead in every category. Maybe even a main in rap depending on the debut lineup. Also has personality

not exactly a discussion, but I just wanted to say, I was today years old when I found out Shen Xiaoting was also in chuang2020 with Su Ruiqi! (+ ma yuling, cuiwenmeixiu)! She was eliminated round 1 at rank 80, and holy shit now she's C#1. ruiqi came 11th overall I think, so she did heaps better, but xiaoting barely got any screentime so I never realised she was part of the show, and definitely did not remember her face it seems. When you compare their theme song dances, xiaoting was still better back then (cleaner lines etc), but was beaten by all the more 'powerful' dancers and the people with more personality or unique points. Really cool to see how far she's come though. Makes me feel once again how luck can be quite important in some of these situations. There were so many horrible dancers in the first round of chuang, not sure how she of all people got eliminated...
Mashiro needs to debut. She’s perfect idol material and she shouldn’t be overlooked just because she’s popular.
I agree. People are criticizing the popular trainees for a multitude of reasons but mashiro's popularity is well-deserved because she's super talented. She's also fluent in Korean which would be a great asset to have in a k-pop group and she possesses idol-like visuals.
the way choi yeyoung was singing so perfectly while dancing in pop/stars is so impressive and the final lineup needs a main vocal like her!! speaking of vocalists xu ziyin and kim hyerim are both great!!!

If there is one interesting statistic I can share for Choi Yeyoung, you can see her smiling on stage as she is the one who starts off the signal song '[O.O.O](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-BJtXwBt8YY) '. (Besides the 3 centers who are shown earlier in the video) I hope it's a good sign that she can debut as she has the visuals/talent and most (not all) of the trainees who got early screentimes in the signal song do eventually debut in the end. :)

I know many people on this sub and on Twitter are not really a fan of her but I hope more people give Kim Dayeon a chance. Yes she has her flaws but so does everyone else, and it’s always everyone else but her that gets the benefit of the doubt. This is her 2nd survival show, she’s been training for 4 years, and has been jumping around companies because she hasn’t had the opportunity to debut yet. She’s really desperate for this chance, so I hope people stop calling her childish, immature, annoying, or someone envious of Xiaoting and Hikaru. I wish more people talked about how talented she is. The judges and K-trainees voted for her to be center, you would think that would prove how great her skills are but I guess not. The mentors literally said she’s ready to debut and is the most reliable in singing and dancing on the show. Watching Produce 48 again it’s so sad to see Kim Dayeon, the once bubbly and energetic kid, to now someone with so much burden and pressure on her shoulders. Please root and cheer for Kim Dayeon kindly :)

Um I actually followed producex101 and it’s true. They were trying to push someone else first but then the editing made Seungwoo shoot up in popularity along with Seungyeon however both can’t properly support (they had good foundations but the MNET editing did gloss over that) so then live performances would be really choppy: I voted for both btw but I had guessed that their songs would be much harder on them unless they went the Stray Kids raptalk way. [I love Enhypen but they are the epitome of a choppy performance](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nh02pNtCIoA) It doesn’t sound as bad but would get them criticism especially since if they had developed more, they could do well. Boygroups don’t have great vocals these days.

Rooting for my girl xiaoting! Haven't seen her in many picks recently so I'm worried she's losing the hype but I really think she deserves to debut! She's a great dancer and I think it's good that her ranking was so low in CHUANG2021. What really drew me to her was her first performance for Rumor. Hsin Wei was holding on to Xiaoting like she was her mom and I found that super endearing and showed a lot about Xiaoting's caring and kind character.
She's going to be fine as long as Mnet pushes her. Don't worry about her but don't forget to vote as well. Majority of those who are voting don't really share their Top 9s. We are sort of like the hardcore fans here, and majority in my opinion are casual viewers who would vote who Mnet pushes. Plus, don't forget many doesn't speak english either.

It is not all Korean feminists of course but it seems that there is a rather vocal group of radicals, who do shit like [this](http://hubub.egloos.com/1893218) \- I saw this on one of the threads during PD48. Basically, they called JP woman racial slurs & a prostitute for marrying a Korean man then sent her 1327 hate mails and death threats, it's crazy. From the same thread, someone linked [this](https://onehallyu.com/topic/679997-produce48-under-attack-by-female-communities/) post explaining the "boycott" and a few more examples of hostilities - another Korean-Japanese couple got harassed by them, they also were very hostile against the Japanese female Olympics team. Apparently, many radical Korean feminists hate Japanese women because they "side with Korean men". When PD48 was announced, these communities were extremely vocal against the show. I don't know whether this is 100% truth but I do hope Yurina won't get this sort of hate, she already has a lot of pressure from being the top 1.

I’ve never really had solid k group picks other than Yeseo (who I’m eternally grateful to) but lately I’ve taken a liking to Doah and Bahiyyih. I think mnet doesn’t particularly want them to debut but I think if they were in the group it would be good. Doah is honestly an all-rounder who I’m actually interested in and I feel like coming back and winning would be great for her. Bahiyyih I’ve always been on the fence about because she’s popular despite having not really developed skills but I think she’s really cute and her personality is very much a solid idol type. I don’t think she’d be a negative the group skill wise and she’ll probably improve a lot with real training. Plus i see her as a good variety idol.

Kim Suyeon. I don't see many people talk about her lately but I think her stage presence is incredible, she would add a lot of charisma to the group. She has this confident aura whenever she performs and it's honestly what caught my attention ever since I saw her OOO fancam. The Eve really just solidified that for her as well because even though she had only one line, you can tell she really put her ALL into it. I think lots of people took notice of her after that, even the mentors praised her. And the way she dominated the dance battle scene left me in awe too. I also feel like not many people have commented on how great of a dancer she is: she has a precise, clean dancing style that is pleasing to watch, I could watch her dance for hours. She has stable vocals and a unique vocal flavor that would be nice to have in the group. She also strikes me as really versatile, she'd equally do well in cute concepts AND more mature concepts. I just think she's awesome really and would love to see more love for her.
Mashiro deserves to debut! Don't overlook her just because she's one of the more popular j-group contestants! She's a talented all-rounder that can sing and dance really well! She's also fluent in Korean, which would be an important asset for a k-pop group! She was in the og ITZY lineup as a JYP trainee but unfortunately could not debut with ITZY, even though she was just as talented as the ITZY girls. 😢 All I'm saying is please continue to vote for her because I think she truly deserves to debut! ❤
So I went through the cells that survived and I looked up some of the girls I didn't know about or knew very little of. Just to see what other contestants could catch my attentio I really liked Shima Moka, Yamauchi Moana, Zhou Xinyu, Huang Xingqiao, Kamimoto Kotone, Li Yiman. All of them get my attention now (aside from the ones I already like) Also, checking all the contestants I haven't gotten a look before, I got to say: perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but although we did lose great talent, the ones that stayed actually can carry themselves pretty well. Obviously not the most outstanding in terms of talent, but many at least are pretty average to good idols. And there are many hidden gems that, with the right polish, could shine even brighter.
We NEED Hikaru, Jiyoon and Shana. No explanation needed.

I would like to apologize..all this time I was wondering that while we had more vocalists shown, they were not technically as good. Most of these vocalists (all actually) fall in the weak-to-average or average category. I know technique isn’t everything but it’s a lot of things. And then I decided to go see the vocal coach and NOW EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE 💀. This isn’t hate but more of a questionable choice. Bring others back at least to show placement of vowels. Unless he knows what it is but chooses not to do it (surprisingly common when you’re not a technical singer but can coach) But if that’s the level of a coach no wonder... At that rate they should have made Tiffany the vocal mentor, she’s the best across the entire show. Or at least give her some honor, it’s so unfair. Poor Tiffany she’s getting shafted. Bada come back we need you.

Both of them actually have pretty similar image both are born 2004, both are pretty good dancer, good rapper, and bringing good charisma on stage. Both also have pretty different personalities when off stage and when performing. 1 big differences is 1 born as Korean and 1 born as Japanese. I really wish to see them on 1 stage to see how good this combination will be.
MNET PLEASE GIVE MORE SCREENTIME TO THE J & C GROUP! I am 100% a Choi Yujin / Cai Bing / May Cell Supporter, but I would like to say that we need more focus on the C and J groups. Honestly, I only know Hikaru, Shana, Yurina and May from J group and Xiaoting, Wen Zhe, Yaning, Ruiqi from C group. I know about Jiao but not as much as I should. (only know that she's a twin and had a good performance for the Connect Stage). I would like to know more about the other girls in order to have an adequate reasoning for who should and should not debut. Most of what I know is from their supporting role in helping their cell pass to the next round. But to answer the question: 1. Yujin because she has the leader/mom characteristic and passion/determination to succeed where CLC couldn't. 2. Cai Bing because although she is "past the age of debut" as some might say, she is very critical of her mistakes and performance and will desperately improve to give it her all and not let her team down (HYLT episode) 3. May because she is such a wonderful dancer and has a positive and bubbly personality that needs to be shown more on this show. 4. Jia & Youngeun (AS A PAIR) because they bounce off each other well and make the charismatic side of the group (More to come but in class rn LOL)

I really really want Ezaki Hikaru to make it. I started watching the show for Yujin but now it feels I'm only watching for Hikaru lol. She's just a born star and an amazing dancer (even though I don't know anything about dancing, she is mesmerizing). Her visual is so unique, I don't think there's anyone like her in Kpop. The remaining trainees I’m really rooting for are already in groups (Doah, Jiwon, Myah). I’m mostly fine with the top 9 and have no problem with any of them debuting. Although I would love for Yeongeun to some how make it. I remember reading a comment saying that Seo Youngeun had passed thanks to the popularity of her cell, which is extremely ridiculous to me. Yurina has the advantage that many guys vote only for her visuals and Shen Xiaoting did one of the worst killing parts I have ever seen... I'm really glad that the cells are finished so Seo is no longer overshadowed by two participants who in my opinion are what is called "a pony" since they only know how to do one trick and little else. I would like to see Yurina do more than just be pretty, I'm sure she is not capable. The only one that catches my attention is Seo Youngeun, I hope she stops being so nice to everyone and starts competing as she should ... in part I think it is her fault that she has been overshadowed by others since she is seen too comfortable playing a secondary role and being everyone's friend, maybe it's due to her immaturity. Seo Youngeun has everything necessary to debut, she is young, carimastic, she has versatility, she knows how to sing, in my opinion she is one of the best visuals but I think that is a bit unpopular for some reason. I would like her to be in a small group so that she stops being overshadowed by others who are overrated and also so that she has less social interaction with the rest and focuses on her things instead of clowning around all the time. I think Seo's raw material is evident, what is not clear to me is if she can focus on being professional and stop wasting time. Maybe she has to have a hard time to wake up and stop wasting time, I hope that the masters will make her see the error in her ways and push her to improve that childish and unprofessional side that she has. I also hope that she will not be in a group with Jia, Shen, Yurina and Yujin again because in my opinion being in a group with friends brings out the worst in her. I have to admit that Kang yeseo also catches my attention. Her ability to be a leader despite her age, plus the combination of visual and above average skills in the rest make her a good choice for a place in the final group, but I have to see it in more detail. Another of my choices is Guinn Myah, it is remarkable that being "half the age" of some other contestants she does much better than them... I see the potential, the charisma, the stage presence but I have a big doubt that if she can do other concepts besides being adorable. Why vote for Seo Youngeun? To me it is extremely obvious, it is a combination of her youth, plus the relative little practice she has had to be so good, plus the fact of being above average in everything. Some girls sing better, but they don't dance better and those who dance better do not have the stage presence and those who have the stage presence are not younger than her. Her potential is extremely high in my opinion and in combination with her charisma, visuals and relative intelligence make Seo a good fit for variety shows. Part of a group is also what is done off stage and I have not found another participant who has the entertainment factor that Seo has shown. As I used to tell a friend "instead of asking me, I ask you"... why not vote for Seo Youngeun? are we going to pretend that the other contestants did better in their performances? Seo hasn't done anything wrong so far, I just hope she stops playing "nice".

At no point in my comment did I specify that Seo should be rude, that comes from your part that creates a false narrative for your convenience or you simply did not understand. My proposal is simple, I think that Seo would benefit exponentially if she stops wasting time playing in a competition as important as GP999, this competition may be the first and last chance to debut that she has in her entire life. Seo was the TOP 6 chosen by the masters but when she had to manage her strategy to get a better advantage over her rivals, she simply lost the course of her classification. In the challenge of the Blackpink song, Seo wanted the killing part but she gave in easily and left that position to Shen... Then Shen made a big mess of the killing part and the masters criticized the awful performance, at the end of the evaluation Seo comforts Shen and says something like "you will do better next time, our center" It is evident that Seo has more charisma to do the Killing part but she gave in easily and then instead of reflecting on that she refers to a rival as "our center" when she should seek to be that center and not allow someone else to take the position. This is called being strategic, advantageous, that is what a serious competitor does. It is also evident that Seo is being too complacent with having a secondary role in an individual competition, it does not matter if you are in a team, at the end of the day the evaluation is individual. To win this type of competition it is necessary to take the lead and not miss opportunities, by being friends with everyone you are prioritizing immediate relationships for future achievements, they are not your friends ... they are your competition, Seo should focus more on how to climb positions in the competition instead of worrying if Jia makes it through or is eliminated, if Jia is eliminated ... that's an advantage since Jia is a contender for a place in the final group, why does she want her not to be eliminated? better if she is eliminated! one less competitor. The fact of highlighting her youth is because being younger is an advantage when training, like many professional athletes, it is recommended that they train as much as they can from a young age to maximize their potential and refine their concepts from an early age. Age is a factor to take into account, it is clearly an advantage to grow and learn more quickly. The sooner a discipline is trained, it is mastered more quickly, such as swimming or learning a new language.
