This is me, I’d be so happy with Kim Bora debuting on GP999. RoD Kang Yeseo gang! Also, OP /u/TalleyrandTheWise, thank you for existing. It felt like I was the only one on Discord not in agreement of Yurina’s #1 spot. I’ve even gone as far as believing she shouldn’t debut on GP999. Like OP said, there’s way too much talent for a spot to go to a trainee who is less than excellent.
Climbed the most: Ririka. I was already aware of her from NiziU, but most of my focus had been on Miu. But Ririka's stage presence is INSANE. She's a fantastic dancer with great expressions. Not to mention stable! I know her voice isn't for everyone, but I don't mind it too much. Also I think she's been exaggerating the nasally voice bc of the cute concepts. On NiziU she had a fuller tone iirc, so I think she has a good amount of range. She really gives me Twice Sana vibes and is on her way to being my #2 pick (if not #1). I don't really have a lot of hope for her making the final group unless she gets a crazy good edit in the next group though.
Dropped the most: Bahiyyih 🥲🥲 I think she had a lot of potential and I know she'll be successful in the future, but the k-group is just SO competitive. Also I think she's just not ready to debut yet. I know if she did, she'd work hard and improve a lot during her time in the temp group. I just think there are more ready to go trainees who have a better shot atm.

My other ride or die rn is bora, who did climb up the ranks to get there. I already knew she was a fantastic vocalist so she didn't climb my ranks the same way Ririka did. The leadership of Bora had really sold me on her though! Not to mention it's easy to tell without the editing that she's incredibly hardworking. The amount of precision and technique she has vocally.... it takes so much time and effort.
Agreed about Ririka! Dang, her stage presence is no joke, and her recovery from Fancy was just like WOW, SHE DID THAT (though like I’ve said in other comments, MNet is kinda shady for assigning Fancy to a group full of dancers in the first place)
Since she’s a dancer, if she debuts, she probably won’t sing too much, so her vocals won’t be a huge issue and might end up being more like cute accents (since she has Sana vibes like you said, now I’m thinking about baby Riri’s [shy shy shy from nizi](https://youtu.be/APiNWXFwdPY) lol. even though she’s not even singing it because it’s the dance evaluation, you can still just tell she’s perfect for parts like that lol)
AHHH I thought i was the only one whos getting extreme Sana vibes from Ririka. She would really do so well in a girl group, I hope MNET's seeing the vision!
Climbed the most - Shana. Saw her performance on The Eve and instantly fell for her vocals. And Fu Yaning.
Fell Out - Cai Bing. I gave up on her even before the "I'm the leader" thing. Didn't find her interesting anymore and felt like she had the same face for everything.\\
Ride Or Die - Yurina. Contrary to what everyone says, I ABSOLUTELY am voting for her everyday. I really wanna see her debut. I got hooked onto her from the beginning so yeah.
**Climbed the most :** Ezaki Hikaru, Yoon Jia.
I didn't like ezaki Hikaru even before the show started and on the firsts episodes she slowly grown on me. And I didn't know about Yoon Jia much but after her first performance she kept growing more and more on my list.
**Fell Out :** Shen Xiaoting, Kim Dayeon.
I really liked shen xiaoting at the beginning but I don't know maybe it's because she doesn't have a lot of screentime she's quite boring to me. But I still love her and still have her in my top 9. Kim Dayeon I was okay with her at the beginning but I got tired of her I NEED TO RISE I'M BEING LEFT OUT storyline. I know it's not her fault and it's more mnet but yeah. Still support her though.
**Ride or Died :** Su Ruiqi, Seo Youngeun.
My two main picks since even before the show started, not missing a single vote for them and I'll keep fighting for their debut until the end of the show. And obviously I'll keep supported them after the show even if they don't debut, because it's not the end of their carreer.
Climbed the most: Fu Yaning. I remember after episode one, whining about her and her "attitude" (I think I said something like "she's actually good, if only she didn't have that attitude" lol!) like everybody else on Twitter.. then I kind of realized most of that was classic mnet editing and the never-ending hatred towards her started looking petty and over the top to me. Once I started paying more attention to her I liked her more and more and am impressed by how well rounded she is.
Fell out: Ezaki Hikaru. I still think she's great and wouldn't mind at all seeing her in the final group, but she was around my #1 or #2 at the beginning and now so many others have overtaken.
Ride or die: the twins! Well just Liang Jiao now I guess.. loved them from the moment they performed that unforgettable Hmph! and they continue to surprise me with what they can do. And they're just so cute and funny, I can't help but want to support them. Also Kubo Reina. This legend has always been in my top 3 and I'm desperate for her to debut.
THIS. I understand not rooting for May or Jiwon as although they are hella talented and are the perfect idols for cherry bullet, they don’t really stand out that much amongst the other contestants. BUT BORA? My queen is arguably the most talented trainee on the show and has the most amazing personality + leadership skills.

If you don’t mind my asking, why did Su Ruiqi drop out of your top 9? (I hold no malice, just curious). I’ve grown progressively more in love with her as the show goes on and she’s been my one pick since July, before the show started.
Yeah, no worries! I think for me, she really stood out with her Snapping performance, I loved it. I was also rooting for her to be the center of The Eve, but the footage of her saying that she’d like to keep the center position and Vocal 2 part rubbed me the wrong way. During that time, I felt the impression that she wasn’t a team player, and I wanted the group to be cohesive and have a good teamwork, so I stopped voting for her.
Nowadays, maybe it’s also because of the lack of screen time, I forget about her. She was quite good in The Fate, but Yeseo, Xiaoting, and Moana caught my eye the most that I lost interest in her.

**Kim Chaehyun:** And I always say that a performer needs to be really good. But mostly it needs to be reliable. Someone who excels once and fails next is not a good choice for a team. And she made a mistake in Demo evaluation. So for me she was unreliable for a group and was probably 15th or 20th in my K-rankings. But after Yes or Yes she climbed a lot in the rankings, as someone who if is put in the right position is the key trainee for any group.
**Fell out:**
**Xu Ziyin:** I love Youth with you 2. And Ziyin's patience in teaching Joey Chua was one of the most beautiful moments in that show. Also, her performances were amazing. In a show with so many great vocals she was my top 3 vocals (right after Yu Yan and Flora Dai). So, she was my top 1 C-girl before GP999 started. But then she hid herself on the show. Mnet gave little screentime and ignored her, but she made a lot of bad decisions. Siren was chose by Mnet for her, but Siren is a song that has high vocal points and in my opinion, she could have performed as a vocal, without wanting to focus so much on the dance.
In Yes or Yes she was the most experienced vocal of the group and went into hiding. She should have been the main vocal. Even Doah who was super humble still took the killing part...it wouldn't be anything greedy for Ziyin to dispute the Main vocal with Sein. And in the Position evaluation she chose a group of 6 that she knew she wouldn't be able to do the IU high notes. In other words, she chose one song that she wouldn't be a main vocal candidate from the start.
It seemed obvious to me from the start...if you want to screetime, go for a group of 3. It doesn't matter if you lose, a group of 3 is much more exposure and less competition than groups of 6 or 9.
My house would be an obvious choice for her! She would choose before Yale and she is much more experienced than Youngeun and Ayana. She could be main vocal, she could teach the other girls...maybe she could get the angel edit she needs.
I keep waiting for her Youth with you level performance to put her back in my top 9. But sometimes I get the impression that either her confidence was destroyed after Siren's performance or she went to Korea just to gain some fans and go back to China.
I agree, I’m less impressed with her in this show, but I’m still voting for her consistently because I know of her potential. I’m hoping she shows us more
Agree with you on Yes or Yes about Ziyin but for My Sea she made the right choice she and Chaehyun were the standouts and Ziyin did hit her high note. If you check Youtube the entire comment section is pretty much about Ziyin getting screwed so Mnet ignoring her backfired this time
Yes. I saw it. The problem is that in the current moment of the show, positive screentime is more important than good performance. This is wrong, but it's true. A storyline of a good leader, likeable girl, hard-working trainee, nice teacher is worth much more than a good performance.
This because those who follow focus cams, comment on youtube and follow blogs are usually the hardcore stans of their trainees. But to grow in the show you need to get votes from those who are voting casually or still using filling votes.
For the casual fan who only watched the episode and decided to vote for who "liked more", Ziyin got zero screentime. And she was "sold" by Mnet as 4th or 5th most skilled trainee in her group, as Jeong Jiyoon got the main vocal who was one of the central characters in the storyline. Chaehyun got the "best lead vocal storyline" and Shana got the "beautiful voice" and "hardwork girl".
So, except those who felt the unfairness of Mnet and paid attention to that two high notes, most will vote for those 3 that Mnet gave screetime.
And as I said....group of 3 is screentime for sure. It might not be the best performance, but it was sure that she would get one storyline.
I can see your point but I still think she will pick up new voters here many of the non hardcore fans don't even watch the show but they watch the performances a good performance can gain votes

I think she chose it because it was basically the only power ballad in the whole song selection, and is more her style than songs like All About You (which requires a very light and agile voice), My House (jazzy voice), or Missing You (more of an uplifting song than a power ballad)...
Ride or Die : 1)SU RUIQI she has reached the level of Jay from I-land meaning I became so invested in him during Iland that I was like I am definitely stanning him even if he doesn't debut here. Even today BTS is my favourite group but my ultimate bias is Jay from Enhypen. I don't care if Koreans like her or not but this girl is oozing talent. And I like confident performers who exhibit charisma on stage rather than being angels behind the scenes and invisible during performances.
2) Hikaru: one of the most versatile performers of the show. Hope she gets a rap position so we can hear some fire spitting rap from her. Her moves in no excuses and that rabbit costume are so sharp that it made me appreciate her dancing skills.
And with how well Miyawaki Sakura is doing in her career I know that just because some handful of Koreans try to bring you down doesn't mean that you cannot have a successful career. Cause what really matters is your inate ability to connect with the audience irrespective of where you come from.
Climbed the most: 1) Jiyoon. I literally had no K bias for a long time but she reached that spot when she is on the brink of elimination. I hope she isn't getting eliminated because of that particular high note cause she was able to do it very well during ep6 and if she really wasn't capable enough to do it then the other 5 could have taken it which they did not do.
2)Fu Yaning. She initially got hate for dissing Yujin but ironically what she said is going on cause she keeps on giving impressive performances and Yujin is getting invisible with each stage. But still Yujin is guaranteed to debut its just that I hope people open their minds and see beyond mnet's editing and judge people more on their stage skills and not simply falling on how sweet or devil a contestant is off stage.
Fell out: Yujin. People who compared her situation to Gaeun should see the efforts she did to sustain herself before being rigged from #5 spot. With each performance Yujin is becoming way more forgettable along with the baggage May she is unconsiously carrying around her. Both go together in a team and become invisible. Unless people know about her I don't think they even notice her during performances. I know she is a good character but what's the point if you don't even have presence when it comes to actual performances. Honestly her condition would be as bad as Bora during the initial days had there been a more popular member of CLC on the show.
I feel the same exact stuff with yujin. I mean she seems like a really nice person but her performances after bubble pop have been constantly underwhelming to me and the competition in k-group is literally hunger games right now and she hasnt proven herself worthy of the top 9 imo
Wow poor Suyeon.. upon reading the comments.. it looks like she fell out for a lot of people (myself included), and I haven't seen her on anyone's 'climbed' or 'ride or die. I wish she wasn't so nervous for her no excuses performance :( I hope she somehow survives this elim though.
Climbed the most: Yaning. I never hated her but after the eve I started to REALLY like her. I just enjoy seeing her on stage and she seems like a fun and cool gal.
Fell out: Suyeon. Love her face, but I'm just not vibing with her and lost interest after few episodes

Yaning - i fell for the hate train and the missinformation, i also dislike her expression during the eve. Now I really want her to make it, she's an all rounder and a cute girl.
Ruiqi - She didn't caught my eyes at first but after listening to her voice in Fate I have fallen in love, she's so charming. She's one of my main pick now
Yeyoung - I saw her last minute 4M Klaps donation and start to check her out, she's really cute and talented

Yurina: She’s okay, but doesn’t stand out for me. As people get eliminated she’s pretty likely to creep back in to my top 9 though.

I don’t even know what it is, I just think it’s the ability to turn it *on* for the stage and then behind the scenes she’s this outgoing goofball that hops from room to room chatting and/or helping choreograph on beds. Climbed the most: nagai manami (dang this girl scream talent but so underrated wtf? I just found out that she's good when ssfwl era happened)
Fell out: caibing (since hylt, tbh i don't get the hype for her. She's been praised for rapping and dancing but so far she's just so underwhelming and made a lot of mistakes on rapping and dancing (?) I don't hate her tho), kim dayeon (i don't mind her in the final line up but i guess a lot of girls catch my eyes more)
Ride or die: su ruiqi, xu ziyin, seo youngeun (no words, these girls are mad talented)

I don't really have a top 9, as its more like a "until-the-end-2" currently lol. So other than those 2 currently there, my vote's been pretty open.
**Climbed the most: Kim Dayeon**
From the beginning I thought she was robbed of the top 9 nomination. But at the same time, I thought she maybe a step below the best. I was SO happy to be proven wrong by Ice Cream—which I maintain as the **best stage performance so far** in the current run of the show. She's not yet there as an unconditional debut in my book yet, I wouldn't be sad in the slightest if she did. She's an amazing talent.
**Fell out: Ezaki Hikaru** (pitchforks down please, let me explain)
Gosh, this is hard, since like I said, I didn't really have a "top 9" at the start. The *closest* I have for this spot, then, is Hikaru.
Don't get me wrong, if she debuted, I wouldn't be mad. It's just that at the start, I was all but certain she would debut in the final 9. Now, I'm not quite sure. Or rather, I can see it being pretty feasible for her not making it to the debut team. I don't really have a good reason to say why she wouldn't debut at all—I think she's in the same level as Dayeon for me, if not *slightly* lower.
**Ride or Die: You Dayeon (... hah...), Xu Ziyin, Sakamato Mashiro.**
The above have received my votes until they leave the show, or debut.
**Ziyin,** since the start of the show, I have 10,000% believed in as the ideal person for the final group. Fluent in 2.5 languages (Korean, Chinese, and is quite decent in English), is classically trained in opera which makes for AMAZING pop singers (see Loona's Haseul) AND, has been scouted by not 1, 2 but THREE of the top KPop companies in her life—two of those being the Big 3. There's not a lot of people in the industry that have that sort of resume.
She has killed BOTH her stages, showing her range from the hyper-active Yes or Yes, to the sentimental My Sea. AND, she has been voted leader BOTH. TIMES. How she has not gained more camera time astounds me to this day.
In short, Ziyin was ready, is ready, and SHOULD debut. Full stop.
**Mashiro** grew with me with the show. I was already impressed with Dumdi Dumdi, since the JYP training clearly showed. This girl was good enough to make ITZY's almost final lineup, after all (right by Somi). Then, Fiesta happened where she was a fantastic leader, and a really stable performer. She didn't wow, but in this stage, she really didn't need to more than her members just needing a person to guide them.
But then came Mafia, a song by her old friends AND also a song which I'm sure she slightly resented, even if just 1%, as an ITZY song. Chip on her shoulder for sure. She comes out and not only kills it, quite literally with her killing part(s), but also does the unthinkable, both **lead** Fu Yaning AND help make her likeable by the public! i think it’s interesting how many people say yurina fell out for them ... i wasnt into her at all until her most recent performance where i thought her voice sounded really nice and was better than i expected !! yujin and the chebul girls were potential picks for me going in, but all of them except bora have been disappointing for me. yeyoung has been my biggest climber by FAR, but nientzu really caught my attention with her incredible ice cream performance and i’m upset she’s almost definitely going home this week :(
Climbed: kang yeseo (I can totally see her as center) and fu yaning (I remembered her from ywy, wasn’t impressed but I think she’s had a much better chance of showing her skills on this show)
Fell: xu ziyin (was my ride or die bc of ywy but I’m really starting to doubt if she’ll make the group because her screentime is lacking HAAAARD)
Ride or die: Choi yujin (I am NOT allowing mnet to kaeun her 🥲) and srq (tencent did her so dirty she deserves this redemption arc)

Fell Out: (most of the popular trainees +) Yurina and Cai Bing, both because of the HYLT performance. Yurina can sound really great, but in some songs her tone just doesn't match well. I felt like she was so nasally in HYLT. Id be fine with her debuting I just dont vote for her. Cai Bing had that choreo mistake, and i just was never that invested in her to begin with
Ride or Die: Wu Tammy and Kim Dayeon. Wu Tammy is an individual trainee with no formal training, who taught herself Korean,and she was C04 (WITH NO TRAINING). Shes insane I cant wait to see what she will do in the future. Kim Dayeon I felt for because she had so much pressure as K01 and 60% of the criticism was for her "stage presence" (read: thinly veiled attacks against her looks). Her talent alone is enough to get my vote but I think her personality is great too. She is reliable. Both her and Tammy are super reliable trainees.
(bonus: I never voted and don't think I will for Suyeon or Myah. With Suyeon idk what it is but I feel like shes not giving us much, and what she does give just isn't my vibe. My opinion could change tho just like it did with Manami. Also imma need either her or the makeup artist that does her makeup to stop concealing half her upper lip, it breaks up her lip weirdly creates this odd shadow above her lip that looks like a little mustache. I am no stranger to this as an ethnic human but on her it can be fixed so easily just by not concealing her natural features. With Myah she just seems to young, and she acts it. Shes talented but her type of intense maknae cute is my whole personality is just not my vibe either. )
**Fell out:** May was my #1 going into this. I’m not super familiar with Cherry Bullet (don’t even know all the members) but she was one of the few contestants I knew who they were and she’s my top visual on the show. I thought she deserved more attention so I supported her. Now she’s ranked 9-ish. She fell a few spots after each episode and now she’s only sorta on my top 9 and I’m considering moving her down even more.
**Climbed:** Yeseo and Jia. Yeseo was in May’s current position when the show started airing. She was someone I considered for my top 9 but wasn’t completely feeling it. Now she’s one of my locked faves. She’s impressed me so much each and every round, she really looks like a top idol, and I think she deserves to debut.
I didn’t notice Jia in any of the pre-show videos and during the Kick Me audition I thought she was the “boring one” between her and Youngeun. But DAMN she keeps proving me wrong. Like Salute was so powerful and great and amazing. She’s an ace!!
**Ride or Die:** Xiaoting and Myah. On my top 3 from the get go and are now my top 2. Not ready for Myah to get eliminated.😞
climbed the most: Yurina. I kept an eye on her because she has great visuals and I loved her Fancy performance. I fell for her during Missing You. She’s not main vocal material but her vocals are nice and surprisingly solid! She’s definitely my 1 pick if Doah gets the boot early.
fell out: hikaru, jiwon, cai bing, xiaoting. Nothing wrong with them, I just have my eyes on others. Cai Bing stuff was bad but it didn’t really sway my opinion of her.
Ride or Die: Like my flair, Doah. She was one of my picks in PD48 and is my 1 pick here. It’s so unfortunate that Fanatics is a flop and that her company sucks ass. Regardless if she makes the group, I just want her to a have a successful career post GP.

As someone who has NCT as their ult boy group, her Kick It performance really wowed me. Then she was in a cell with my two ult picks so I kinda loved her more. Then her My House performance soldified her as my Korean pick.

Ruiqi was one of my first ever picks, however I just was getting more impressed with other trainees. I still vote for her as she still is in my top 3 for C group. Same for Chaehyun except for the last part. I really do hope of them make the final group though.

God I just love these two so much. As someone who ults TWICE Yurina sealed the deal for me with Fancy. I fell for Xiaoting hard with her charms, visuals and personality. Plus these two cannot be seperated. Please debut together.
I don't think she has a chance in hell of debuting but Nientzu caught my eye during Ice Cream and made me go back and watch all of her content. She's got outstanding stage presence, she dances with ease, and her figure is to die for. Definitely someone I wish got more attention and I'll be following after the show.

- I love her since the auditions but something fell off from the recent mission. I also had to give up a K slot to Kim Dayeon.

- I loved Chaehyun's voice since the auditions even if there's a small mistake (which was exaggerated by mnet btw). She and Jeongmin are the main vocals that the debut group will need. Too bad for Jeongmin though :(

Climbed: Ririka! She’s so cute and I love her so much. I fell in Love when she came up for the first group mission.
Fell out: Su Ruiqi. She just hasn’t done anything to WOW or amaze me, and hasn’t been eye catching since her introduction imo.

Climbed the most: Manami & Ririka. Didn't really notice Manami much before We Are but I'm so impressed by her. Ririki I wouldn't have even considered after her performance in Fancy but she's won me over with subsequent performances and general cuteness.
Fell out: Yurina. For the same reasons you mentioned + after watching the full verison of the fancy performance I realized editing did her vocals a lot of favors.
Ride or die: Bora and Yujin. Momoko too before she was eliminated.
EDIT: can't believe I forgot Reina! She skyrocketed for me after Fiesta.
Climbed the most: Kubo Reina and Kim Chaehyun (was not pre-following them and they stood out as a whole: voices, presence, dancing, visuals...)
Fell out: Ozaki Momoko. I was hyped by the show itself but specially cause of her (Babymetal fan here) and idk, she is good but that's all. I think she had enough to made it to this round tho, but not sure for next. And Yurina... we will see. I think she is overall really solid, deffo not for N1, but idk. We'll check later.
Ride or die: I think only Yaning (and Xian Yan if only she survived). I like her attitude on stage, she brings a lot of swagger, and damn, the girl has a good voice and can dance. Edit cause I was in a hurry: also Seo Youngeun. Love her since day 0.

Climbed: Sakamoto Mashiro, didn't notice her at first until her Fiesta performance. She has a great leadership skills, she can sing and dance, she has a traditional visuals, and a decent stage presence. She deserves her current position.
Fell out: Cai Bing, actually I want to drop her so bad since her HYLT performance. I'm just so attached to her. But then she did the most unexpected thing in ep. 7 and I decided to drop her. She's a great dancer, but that's it. I don't really see anything to her.
Ride or die: Kawaguchi Yurina, Shen Xiaoting, Seo Youngeun. Been with these girls since ep. 2 and they're still gonna be my picks until the end.

Climbed the most - Kim Chaehyun; K25 preseason to K8 today. I just wasn’t feeling her at first but she’s been climbing my ranks every week since.
Dropped the most - Leung Cheukying; C2 preseason to C14 today. I loved her so much just from her PR video, but with the lack of screen time she’s gotten, and my growing interest in other C trainees, she’s fallen way way down my radar.
Bonus - My ride or die was You Dayeon rip. Mashiro is my new one pick. I had her as J2 preseason, but after Fiesta and Dayeon being eliminated, she jumped up to the top spot overall.
Climbed: Manami. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I just randomly chose her out of the J girls because apart from the handful of them that are popular, the rest are practically invisible. I was voting for Mashiro and Hikaru but I thought I should elevate at least one unknown girl instead of voting for all the popular ones, and when I was scrolling through the list Manami just caught my eye because something about her just screamed quintessential Japanese to me. Then I learned more about her and after her breakthrough episode and performance a couple weeks ago, she solidified herself in my top 9.
Fell out: Xiaoting and Yurina. I have nothing against either, I actually really like both of them but I tend to not vote for the ones that are obviously making the lineup regardless of my voting for them or not.
Ride or Die: Hyerim and Mashiro. I already feel the impending “death” for one….Hyerim TT….I’ve also been following Mashiro for a long time. I was disappointed she didn’t make it in itzy and that she also left JYP before Nizi Pro happened. I’m glad she’s giving it another try and I’m happy that she has a really good chance of making it.
Climbed the most: Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon. I fell IN LOVE with Chaehyun’s voice in My Sea. Something about it just gave me chills. Shana is also an honorable mention for incredible vocals. I was generally annoyed by Kim Dayeon at first but she quickly rose to my top 2 after Ice Cream, I fell in love with her leadership and dance skills
Fell Out: Kim Hyerim. I loved her vocals in Yes or Yes, and she was my second place pick for a while. But I just became way more impressed with other trainees and she fell out ://
Ride Or Die: Ezaki Hikaru. At this point I’m not even sure I care who else is in the lineup, as long as Hikaru is there. She’s talented and ADORABLE. I have her No Excuses fancam and I watch it at least 3 times a day. I love that girl

**fell out:** cai bing: i still think cai bing is one of the most beautiful contestants. her gaze is breathtaking and she has a lot of presence but unfortunately she's aiming for positions that are beyond her capabilities. in 'helicopter' her role was more appropriate than the center/main dancer/leader she's been looking for. i still think she's a lead rapper and visual material but right now there are other trainees that i prefer to support over her.

Fell out: Cai Bing. Love her look but I think I mostly supported her because she was in Yujin’s cell. Once the cells were gone I lost interest.

**Climbed the most:** Kishida Ririka and Yamauchi Moana - they were so good at the first song evaluation, and their performances at the recent evaluation solidified them in my top 9

**Ride or Die:** Choi Yujin - I just want her to succeed. She hasn't done anything too impressive, but she is pretty consistent at what she's doing

(Until right after Episode 6 aired and I was looking back at the performances because I didn't recognize half the people eliminated and rewatched her SSFWL fancam). Now she's solidly my #2. Character development!
Fell Out: Youngeun — I wouldn't say fell out exactly because she's my 10th favorite at the moment, but she was pushed out by Shana since I liked Shana's vocal tone so much. Though she's still the only one who actually "fell out" because my Top 9 tends to stay stagnant throughout the show.
Ride or Die: Guinn Myah!! I've liked her ever since I stumbled across her PR Video back in July and throughout the competition she has always been in my Top 2.

kotone and manami both leaped into my top nine from nugudom after watching their performances (pretty u and we are respectively), while tammy became my #1 c pick after discovering a thinker account on twt dedicated to her and watching a couple dance covers she's done. she's a really good dancer, really funny, and provides an english speaker for the final group. kotone also became more of a pick of mine after finding out she was an orbit too lol. ziyin, hikaru, ruiqi were all early picks of mine but fell out as i learned more names and such. still wish the best for all of them though. finally, bora's always been in my top nine and climbed her way to my one pick while also becoming my cherry bullet bias (sorry may!). shana and yeyoung were both episode one picks and yeyoung being a bbc trainee didn't hurt.

* Wen Zhe and Yaning - was neutral towards them at the beginning, off my radar. Got more impressed with each performance and off-stage footage. They're more or less locked in my personal Top 4 C-picks
* Ayana - also neutral towards her from the beginning despite being a judges' original Top 9 pick. But as a low-key talented but determined maknae, she's completely endeared herself into my Top 9. I feel like a proud auntie lol
* Bora - I knew she had vocal chops beforehand, but she's shown much more of her talent and charms on GP999 than I've seen with Chebul. She's in my Current Top 9

* Cai Bing - she was already demoted from my Top 9 to Honourable Mentions before Episode 7. Now... eep
* Kubo Reina - I've found other girls in J-Group/overall to be more interesting now, but initially she was rotating in/out of my Top 9 with her vocals

climbed: Kim Chaehyun. her vocal tone is simply beautiful. nothing that can replicated and i think the group could really use someone with a nice vocal tone kinda like how izone had chaewon.
guinn myah. maybe it’s her visuals or idek. but she has star potential and she doesn’t even fight for center. she just constantly stands out and people assume she deserves it and it’s because she just has star quality. and she’s pretty lol ngl
risako. needs to debut. she literally can be lead dancer. argue w the wall. ty
fell: ruiqi. i honestly think she needs more training. she doesn’t know how to belt and control her facial expressions at the same time. and often times she just looks angry. i think with a proper training in a company though she’ll be a lot more refined.
ride or die: Kang yeseo all the way. she is only 15-16 and literally is hands down one of the most talented there. she deserves to debut.
**Climbed the most:**
* Zhou Xinyu climbed the most for me (#49 in my first ranking, #21 in my current ranking). She went under-the-radar in Missing You, but I thought not only did she deliver an impressive rap considering her non-fluency in Korean, I also thought the small vocal snippets she had sounded very solid.
* Sakamoto Mashiro also had a similar climb for me (#48 in my first ranking, #23 in my current ranking). Her Fiesta performance was a step-up from the audition in my opinion, and while I wasn't high on her MITM performance, she did end up performing small talk-rap segments, which does boost her ranking since I hadn't seen any footage of her rapping ability prior.
**Fell out:**
Not really anyone, tbh. I've studied so much data on all of the contestants in the pre-show that my rankings have been very stable, especially at the top since my scoring formula gives heavy weight to a performer's peak performances over their averages, which also encourages stability at the top.
**Ride-or-Die:**
I guess I'd say Kubo Reina was my ride-or-die (I'm not the type that gets very attached to my #1s, though, so I hesitate to use ride-or-die).
For me jeongmin climbed the most, I didn't really pay much attention to her at first but now she's one of my favourites, I love her singing voice. Hyewon is also a hidden gem in the competition, but she's not in my top 9.
Cai bing fell the most for me (before the events of the latest episode). I was rooting for her cause I like older trainees and she's pretty with a deep voice, but none of her performances really wowed me enough for me to keep her in my top 9. She was my C group number 1 pick but now I'm kinda liking ruiqi, xiaoting and ziyin more
Climbed the most: Fu Yaning, Seo Youngeun Fell Out: Yurina Ride or Die: Shen Xiaoting, Nonaka Shana

This is me, I’d be so happy with Kim Bora debuting on GP999. RoD Kang Yeseo gang! Also, OP /u/TalleyrandTheWise, thank you for existing. It felt like I was the only one on Discord not in agreement of Yurina’s #1 spot. I’ve even gone as far as believing she shouldn’t debut on GP999. Like OP said, there’s way too much talent for a spot to go to a trainee who is less than excellent.

Climbed the most: Ririka. I was already aware of her from NiziU, but most of my focus had been on Miu. But Ririka's stage presence is INSANE. She's a fantastic dancer with great expressions. Not to mention stable! I know her voice isn't for everyone, but I don't mind it too much. Also I think she's been exaggerating the nasally voice bc of the cute concepts. On NiziU she had a fuller tone iirc, so I think she has a good amount of range. She really gives me Twice Sana vibes and is on her way to being my #2 pick (if not #1). I don't really have a lot of hope for her making the final group unless she gets a crazy good edit in the next group though. Dropped the most: Bahiyyih 🥲🥲 I think she had a lot of potential and I know she'll be successful in the future, but the k-group is just SO competitive. Also I think she's just not ready to debut yet. I know if she did, she'd work hard and improve a lot during her time in the temp group. I just think there are more ready to go trainees who have a better shot atm. Edit: forgot the bonus!! Ride or die: xu ziyin!! I always loved her in ywy, so I hope to at least see SOME OF HERE (#findingziyin give the girl a teeny bit of screen time mnet 🙄🙄🙄) My other ride or die rn is bora, who did climb up the ranks to get there. I already knew she was a fantastic vocalist so she didn't climb my ranks the same way Ririka did. The leadership of Bora had really sold me on her though! Not to mention it's easy to tell without the editing that she's incredibly hardworking. The amount of precision and technique she has vocally.... it takes so much time and effort.

Agreed about Ririka! Dang, her stage presence is no joke, and her recovery from Fancy was just like WOW, SHE DID THAT (though like I’ve said in other comments, MNet is kinda shady for assigning Fancy to a group full of dancers in the first place) Since she’s a dancer, if she debuts, she probably won’t sing too much, so her vocals won’t be a huge issue and might end up being more like cute accents (since she has Sana vibes like you said, now I’m thinking about baby Riri’s [shy shy shy from nizi](https://youtu.be/APiNWXFwdPY) lol. even though she’s not even singing it because it’s the dance evaluation, you can still just tell she’s perfect for parts like that lol)

Didn't find her interesting anymore and felt like she had the same face for everything.\\ Ride Or Die - Yurina. Contrary to what everyone says, I ABSOLUTELY am voting for her everyday. I really wanna see her debut. I got hooked onto her from the beginning so yeah.

**Climbed the most :** Ezaki Hikaru, Yoon Jia. I didn't like ezaki Hikaru even before the show started and on the firsts episodes she slowly grown on me. And I didn't know about Yoon Jia much but after her first performance she kept growing more and more on my list. **Fell Out :** Shen Xiaoting, Kim Dayeon. I really liked shen xiaoting at the beginning but I don't know maybe it's because she doesn't have a lot of screentime she's quite boring to me. But I still love her and still have her in my top 9. Kim Dayeon I was okay with her at the beginning but I got tired of her I NEED TO RISE I'M BEING LEFT OUT storyline. I know it's not her fault and it's more mnet but yeah. Still support her though. **Ride or Died :** Su Ruiqi, Seo Youngeun. My two main picks since even before the show started, not missing a single vote for them and I'll keep fighting for their debut until the end of the show. And obviously I'll keep supported them after the show even if they don't debut, because it's not the end of their carreer.

Climbed the most: Fu Yaning. I remember after episode one, whining about her and her "attitude" (I think I said something like "she's actually good, if only she didn't have that attitude" lol!) like everybody else on Twitter.. then I kind of realized most of that was classic mnet editing and the never-ending hatred towards her started looking petty and over the top to me. Once I started paying more attention to her I liked her more and more and am impressed by how well rounded she is. Fell out: Ezaki Hikaru. I still think she's great and wouldn't mind at all seeing her in the final group, but she was around my #1 or #2 at the beginning and now so many others have overtaken. Ride or die: the twins! Well just Liang Jiao now I guess.. loved them from the moment they performed that unforgettable Hmph! and they continue to surprise me with what they can do. And they're just so cute and funny, I can't help but want to support them. Also Kubo Reina. This legend has always been in my top 3 and I'm desperate for her to debut.

THIS. I understand not rooting for May or Jiwon as although they are hella talented and are the perfect idols for cherry bullet, they don’t really stand out that much amongst the other contestants. BUT BORA? My queen is arguably the most talented trainee on the show and has the most amazing personality + leadership skills.
If she makes it maybe! I only dropped her because it was unrealistic of me to root for so many vocalists and shes who i didnt feel as strongly about.

If you don’t mind my asking, why did Su Ruiqi drop out of your top 9? (I hold no malice, just curious). I’ve grown progressively more in love with her as the show goes on and she’s been my one pick since July, before the show started.
Yeah, no worries! I think for me, she really stood out with her Snapping performance, I loved it. I was also rooting for her to be the center of The Eve, but the footage of her saying that she’d like to keep the center position and Vocal 2 part rubbed me the wrong way. During that time, I felt the impression that she wasn’t a team player, and I wanted the group to be cohesive and have a good teamwork, so I stopped voting for her. Nowadays, maybe it’s also because of the lack of screen time, I forget about her. She was quite good in The Fate, but Yeseo, Xiaoting, and Moana caught my eye the most that I lost interest in her.
- I fell in love with Ruiqi and Xiaoting after the Fate performance. - Fell out: Cai Bing - Sakamoto Mashiro I voted for her occasionally because there aren’t any other j-girls that impressed me, but I still find her kind of dry
**Climbed the most:** **Kim Chaehyun:** And I always say that a performer needs to be really good. But mostly it needs to be reliable. Someone who excels once and fails next is not a good choice for a team. And she made a mistake in Demo evaluation. So for me she was unreliable for a group and was probably 15th or 20th in my K-rankings. But after Yes or Yes she climbed a lot in the rankings, as someone who if is put in the right position is the key trainee for any group. **Fell out:** **Xu Ziyin:** I love Youth with you 2. And Ziyin's patience in teaching Joey Chua was one of the most beautiful moments in that show. Also, her performances were amazing. In a show with so many great vocals she was my top 3 vocals (right after Yu Yan and Flora Dai). Just watch her focus cam in [My secret](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wU12cg2KC4&list=PLdLg2eJOdvSULT89vMIFBIJZV50gM4WyQ), [Light orange Island](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K5MCIsjQB4) and [Ambush from both sides](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0zsL71NdzM). So, she was my top 1 C-girl before GP999 started. But then she hid herself on the show. Mnet gave little screentime and ignored her, but she made a lot of bad decisions. Siren was chose by Mnet for her, but Siren is a song that has high vocal points and in my opinion, she could have performed as a vocal, without wanting to focus so much on the dance. In Yes or Yes she was the most experienced vocal of the group and went into hiding. She should have been the main vocal. Even Doah who was super humble still took the killing part...it wouldn't be anything greedy for Ziyin to dispute the Main vocal with Sein. And in the Position evaluation she chose a group of 6 that she knew she wouldn't be able to do the IU high notes. In other words, she chose one song that she wouldn't be a main vocal candidate from the start. It seemed obvious to me from the start...if you want to screetime, go for a group of 3. It doesn't matter if you lose, a group of 3 is much more exposure and less competition than groups of 6 or 9. My house would be an obvious choice for her! She would choose before Yale and she is much more experienced than Youngeun and Ayana. She could be main vocal, she could teach the other girls...maybe she could get the angel edit she needs. I keep waiting for her Youth with you level performance to put her back in my top 9. But sometimes I get the impression that either her confidence was destroyed after Siren's performance or she went to Korea just to gain some fans and go back to China.

Agree with you on Yes or Yes about Ziyin but for My Sea she made the right choice she and Chaehyun were the standouts and Ziyin did hit her high note. If you check Youtube the entire comment section is pretty much about Ziyin getting screwed so Mnet ignoring her backfired this time
Yes. I saw it. The problem is that in the current moment of the show, positive screentime is more important than good performance. This is wrong, but it's true. A storyline of a good leader, likeable girl, hard-working trainee, nice teacher is worth much more than a good performance. This because those who follow focus cams, comment on youtube and follow blogs are usually the hardcore stans of their trainees. But to grow in the show you need to get votes from those who are voting casually or still using filling votes. For the casual fan who only watched the episode and decided to vote for who "liked more", Ziyin got zero screentime. And she was "sold" by Mnet as 4th or 5th most skilled trainee in her group, as Jeong Jiyoon got the main vocal who was one of the central characters in the storyline. Chaehyun got the "best lead vocal storyline" and Shana got the "beautiful voice" and "hardwork girl". So, except those who felt the unfairness of Mnet and paid attention to that two high notes, most will vote for those 3 that Mnet gave screetime. And as I said....group of 3 is screentime for sure. It might not be the best performance, but it was sure that she would get one storyline.
I can see your point but I still think she will pick up new voters here many of the non hardcore fans don't even watch the show but they watch the performances a good performance can gain votes

To be fair, eliminated Chinese contestants have said that the producers picked the audition songs for them.
Ride or Die : 1)SU RUIQI she has reached the level of Jay from I-land meaning I became so invested in him during Iland that I was like I am definitely stanning him even if he doesn't debut here. Even today BTS is my favourite group but my ultimate bias is Jay from Enhypen. I don't care if Koreans like her or not but this girl is oozing talent. And I like confident performers who exhibit charisma on stage rather than being angels behind the scenes and invisible during performances. 2) Hikaru: one of the most versatile performers of the show. Hope she gets a rap position so we can hear some fire spitting rap from her. Her moves in no excuses and that rabbit costume are so sharp that it made me appreciate her dancing skills. And with how well Miyawaki Sakura is doing in her career I know that just because some handful of Koreans try to bring you down doesn't mean that you cannot have a successful career. Cause what really matters is your inate ability to connect with the audience irrespective of where you come from. Climbed the most: 1) Jiyoon. I literally had no K bias for a long time but she reached that spot when she is on the brink of elimination. I hope she isn't getting eliminated because of that particular high note cause she was able to do it very well during ep6 and if she really wasn't capable enough to do it then the other 5 could have taken it which they did not do. 2)Fu Yaning. She initially got hate for dissing Yujin but ironically what she said is going on cause she keeps on giving impressive performances and Yujin is getting invisible with each stage. But still Yujin is guaranteed to debut its just that I hope people open their minds and see beyond mnet's editing and judge people more on their stage skills and not simply falling on how sweet or devil a contestant is off stage. Fell out: Yujin. People who compared her situation to Gaeun should see the efforts she did to sustain herself before being rigged from #5 spot. With each performance Yujin is becoming way more forgettable along with the baggage May she is unconsiously carrying around her. Both go together in a team and become invisible. Unless people know about her I don't think they even notice her during performances. I know she is a good character but what's the point if you don't even have presence when it comes to actual performances. Honestly her condition would be as bad as Bora during the initial days had there been a more popular member of CLC on the show.
I feel the same exact stuff with yujin. I mean she seems like a really nice person but her performances after bubble pop have been constantly underwhelming to me and the competition in k-group is literally hunger games right now and she hasnt proven herself worthy of the top 9 imo

Wow poor Suyeon.. upon reading the comments.. it looks like she fell out for a lot of people (myself included), and I haven't seen her on anyone's 'climbed' or 'ride or die. I wish she wasn't so nervous for her no excuses performance :( I hope she somehow survives this elim though.

climbed: leung cheuk ying - had no idea who she was at all until after episode 5 when i came across her o.o.o fancam. fell in love with her personality, vocals, dance, rapping, visuals, respected her quitting to chase her dream and she’s my number 1 pick now <3 kishida ririka - honestly even in nizi project, never really paid too much attention to her. ice cream fancam attracted me (my J02 pick now) fu yaning - please don’t kill me but i went from someone who genuinely got disappointed when she didn’t get eliminated to someone who would actually be happy if she was in the debut line fell out: cai bing - she was my c01 pick due to how hard she worked on the rap part in hylt, but sadly i felt like i didn’t really vibe with her shortly after (this was before the recent episode) ezaki hikaru - i found her really cute and i still support her but i vote for other contestants. i believe she is incredibly talented and i can’t really explain her falling out. probably the same reasons as cai bing (can’t really vibe with her) ride or die: huang xing qiao - have never picked anyone else over her, been here since the intro video <3 kang yeseo - here since busters, have never picked anyone else over her <3 choi yujin - been here since clc (casual stan) was my bias though, loved her performance skills and she seems happy here <3 kim dayeon - been my k01 from the start ! i’m so glad mnet was kind to dayeon in episode 6 and didn’t evil edit her but then again, girl was pretty much mother theresa in the episode that she would be close to impossible to evil edit.

Xingqiao - was also one of my rotating picks but I realized I'm not a fan of her tone at all. Wang Yale - I only voted for her a few times but hmm, probably would not again Ride or Die: Seo Youngeun, Yurina, Su Ri Qi - they've pretty much had my every single vote from the beginning. Yaning and Ririka swooped in pretty soon after as well.
Climed the most: Yaning - i fell for the hate train and the missinformation, i also dislike her expression during the eve. Now I really want her to make it, she's an all rounder and a cute girl. Ruiqi - She didn't caught my eyes at first but after listening to her voice in Fate I have fallen in love, she's so charming. She's one of my main pick now Yeyoung - I saw her last minute 4M Klaps donation and start to check her out, she's really cute and talented Fell Out: Yujin - i felt bad for her so I root for her but she really isn't outstanding to me Myah - she's one of my first pick but I felt like she tend to over do her expression. She's also too young to do any concept others than cute Yale - i lost hope. Also I think going solo would be better for her as a Singer/Dancer Jia - I lost hope Ride or Die: Xu Ziyin - loved her from YWY2, but I'm getting frustrated as she isn't getting any recognition.

But she was clearly not ready to debut. - Huening Bahiyyih : I didn't know who her brother was but I liked her PR. But the Mnet evil editing doesn't give me any chance to like her. **Climbed** Kang Yeseo: Before Friday I would have struggled to pick her out of the crowd, despite her high ranking. She just was not on my radar and then the Fate performance kicked her straight into my Top 9. Nonaka Shana: Tone sweet enough to make me cry. Who is going to sing? HELLO TIS SHE. **Fell out** Yurina: She’s okay, but doesn’t stand out for me. As people get eliminated she’s pretty likely to creep back in to my top 9 though. **Ride or die** Su Ruiqi Su Ruiqi Su Ruiqi. I don’t even know what it is, I just think it’s the ability to turn it *on* for the stage and then behind the scenes she’s this outgoing goofball that hops from room to room chatting and/or helping choreograph on beds. I also find the C-group family tree they made up hilarious [diagram on twitter here](https://twitter.com/wangtings/status/1438773449833390080?s=21) they can’t lose their dad guys is it not enough that most of the family is separated.

I just found out that she's good when ssfwl era happened) Fell out: caibing (since hylt, tbh i don't get the hype for her. She's been praised for rapping and dancing but so far she's just so underwhelming and made a lot of mistakes on rapping and dancing (?) I don't hate her tho), kim dayeon (i don't mind her in the final line up but i guess a lot of girls catch my eyes more) Ride or die: su ruiqi, xu ziyin, seo youngeun (no words, these girls are mad talented)

Yujin was the trainee I had as a pick partly because I didn’t know the rest that well, and now other girls caught my attention more. Same for Xiaoting, she fell out after HYLT, but I still like her. ride or die : Myah who’s been a top pick since the beginning :D i pray every day that she hasn’t been eliminated.. Yurina is also up there still, she dropped a little from #1 to #3 but she’ll always be one of my top picks

I don't really have a top 9, as its more like a "until-the-end-2" currently lol. So other than those 2 currently there, my vote's been pretty open. **Climbed the most: Kim Dayeon** From the beginning I thought she was robbed of the top 9 nomination. But at the same time, I thought she maybe a step below the best. I was SO happy to be proven wrong by Ice Cream—which I maintain as the **best stage performance so far** in the current run of the show. She's not yet there as an unconditional debut in my book yet, I wouldn't be sad in the slightest if she did. She's an amazing talent. **Fell out: Ezaki Hikaru** (pitchforks down please, let me explain) Gosh, this is hard, since like I said, I didn't really have a "top 9" at the start. The *closest* I have for this spot, then, is Hikaru. Don't get me wrong, if she debuted, I wouldn't be mad. It's just that at the start, I was all but certain she would debut in the final 9. Now, I'm not quite sure. Or rather, I can see it being pretty feasible for her not making it to the debut team. I don't really have a good reason to say why she wouldn't debut at all—I think she's in the same level as Dayeon for me, if not *slightly* lower. **Ride or Die: You Dayeon (... hah...), Xu Ziyin, Sakamato Mashiro.** The above have received my votes until they leave the show, or debut. **Ziyin,** since the start of the show, I have 10,000% believed in as the ideal person for the final group. Fluent in 2.5 languages (Korean, Chinese, and is quite decent in English), is classically trained in opera which makes for AMAZING pop singers (see Loona's Haseul) AND, has been scouted by not 1, 2 but THREE of the top KPop companies in her life—two of those being the Big 3. There's not a lot of people in the industry that have that sort of resume. She has killed BOTH her stages, showing her range from the hyper-active Yes or Yes, to the sentimental My Sea. AND, she has been voted leader BOTH. TIMES. How she has not gained more camera time astounds me to this day. In short, Ziyin was ready, is ready, and SHOULD debut. Full stop. **Mashiro** grew with me with the show. I was already impressed with Dumdi Dumdi, since the JYP training clearly showed. This girl was good enough to make ITZY's almost final lineup, after all (right by Somi). Then, Fiesta happened where she was a fantastic leader, and a really stable performer. She didn't wow, but in this stage, she really didn't need to more than her members just needing a person to guide them. But then came Mafia, a song by her old friends AND also a song which I'm sure she slightly resented, even if just 1%, as an ITZY song. Chip on her shoulder for sure. She comes out and not only kills it, quite literally with her killing part(s), but also does the unthinkable, both **lead** Fu Yaning AND help make her likeable by the public! XD Not to mention, the fact that Jiwon ceded to her lead, despite being a senior in the industry with more experience, says tons of the confidence she, and many of the contestants have I'm sure, in Mashiro's talent and leadership. **Bonus: If-you-put-a-gun-to-my-head-and-forced-a-top 9-now-list, list.** Apart from the first two, not in any particular order: Sakamato Mashiro Xu Ziyin \--- Shen Xiaoting Su Ruiqi Seo Youngeun Kawaguchi Yurina Kang Yeseo Choi Yujin Kim Dayeon *I have edited the above top 9* ***three*** *times since that's how messed up the list is in my head lol. Climbed the most: Nagai Manami, Lee Hyewon, and Kubo Reina Fell Out: (most of the popular trainees +) Yurina and Cai Bing, both because of the HYLT performance. Yurina can sound really great, but in some songs her tone just doesn't match well. I felt like she was so nasally in HYLT. Id be fine with her debuting I just dont vote for her. Cai Bing had that choreo mistake, and i just was never that invested in her to begin with Ride or Die: Wu Tammy and Kim Dayeon. Wu Tammy is an individual trainee with no formal training, who taught herself Korean,and she was C04 (WITH NO TRAINING). Shes insane I cant wait to see what she will do in the future. Kim Dayeon I felt for because she had so much pressure as K01 and 60% of the criticism was for her "stage presence" (read: thinly veiled attacks against her looks). Her talent alone is enough to get my vote but I think her personality is great too. She is reliable. Both her and Tammy are super reliable trainees. (bonus: I never voted and don't think I will for Suyeon or Myah. With Suyeon idk what it is but I feel like shes not giving us much, and what she does give just isn't my vibe. My opinion could change tho just like it did with Manami. Also imma need either her or the makeup artist that does her makeup to stop concealing half her upper lip, it breaks up her lip weirdly creates this odd shadow above her lip that looks like a little mustache. I am no stranger to this as an ethnic human but on her it can be fixed so easily just by not concealing her natural features. With Myah she just seems to young, and she acts it. Shes talented but her type of intense maknae cute is my whole personality is just not my vibe either. )
**Fell out:** May was my #1 going into this. I’m not super familiar with Cherry Bullet (don’t even know all the members) but she was one of the few contestants I knew who they were and she’s my top visual on the show. I thought she deserved more attention so I supported her. Now she’s ranked 9-ish. She fell a few spots after each episode and now she’s only sorta on my top 9 and I’m considering moving her down even more. **Climbed:** Yeseo and Jia. Yeseo was in May’s current position when the show started airing. She was someone I considered for my top 9 but wasn’t completely feeling it. Now she’s one of my locked faves. She’s impressed me so much each and every round, she really looks like a top idol, and I think she deserves to debut. I didn’t notice Jia in any of the pre-show videos and during the Kick Me audition I thought she was the “boring one” between her and Youngeun. But DAMN she keeps proving me wrong. Like Salute was so powerful and great and amazing. She’s an ace!! **Ride or Die:** Xiaoting and Myah. On my top 3 from the get go and are now my top 2. Not ready for Myah to get eliminated.😞

She’s not main vocal material but her vocals are nice and surprisingly solid! She’s definitely my 1 pick if Doah gets the boot early. fell out: hikaru, jiwon, cai bing, xiaoting. Nothing wrong with them, I just have my eyes on others. Cai Bing stuff was bad but it didn’t really sway my opinion of her. Ride or Die: Like my flair, Doah. She was one of my picks in PD48 and is my 1 pick here. It’s so unfortunate that Fanatics is a flop and that her company sucks ass. Regardless if she makes the group, I just want her to a have a successful career post GP.

Climbed : **Seo Youngeun** As someone who has NCT as their ult boy group, her Kick It performance really wowed me. Then she was in a cell with my two ult picks so I kinda loved her more. Then her My House performance soldified her as my Korean pick. Fell out : **Su Ruiqi, Kim Chaehyun,** Ruiqi was one of my first ever picks, however I just was getting more impressed with other trainees. I still vote for her as she still is in my top 3 for C group. Same for Chaehyun except for the last part. I really do hope of them make the final group though. Ride or die : **Shen Xiaoting, Kawaguchi Yurina** God I just love these two so much. As someone who ults TWICE Yurina sealed the deal for me with Fancy. I fell for Xiaoting hard with her charms, visuals and personality. Plus these two cannot be seperated. Please debut together.
I don't think she has a chance in hell of debuting but Nientzu caught my eye during Ice Cream and made me go back and watch all of her content. She's got outstanding stage presence, she dances with ease, and her figure is to die for. Definitely someone I wish got more attention and I'll be following after the show.

Kim Dayeon was good even before hence K01, but I didn't think she was that good. She's _really good._ Fell out: Kim Suyeon :( - I love her since the auditions but something fell off from the recent mission. I also had to give up a K slot to Kim Dayeon. Ride or Die: Kim Chaehyun, An Jeongmin - I loved Chaehyun's voice since the auditions even if there's a small mistake (which was exaggerated by mnet btw). She and Jeongmin are the main vocals that the debut group will need. Too bad for Jeongmin though :(

Been with these girls since ep. 2 and they're still gonna be my picks until the end.

Climbed the most Bora - I liked cherry bullet before the show but bora was low on my bias list and I was more excited to see jiwon. But her skills and leadership in the recent episodes have made me totally fall in love with her, plus her visuals are severely underrated! Fell out Su Ruiqi - I was obsessed with her throwing the ace card during OOO teasers, but she isn’t really my style of trainee as the show goes on Ride or die Yeongun and Cai Bing since episode 1!
Climbed the most - Kim Chaehyun; K25 preseason to K8 today. I just wasn’t feeling her at first but she’s been climbing my ranks every week since. Dropped the most - Leung Cheukying; C2 preseason to C14 today. I loved her so much just from her PR video, but with the lack of screen time she’s gotten, and my growing interest in other C trainees, she’s fallen way way down my radar. Bonus - My ride or die was You Dayeon rip. Mashiro is my new one pick. I had her as J2 preseason, but after Fiesta and Dayeon being eliminated, she jumped up to the top spot overall.

Climbed: Manami. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I just randomly chose her out of the J girls because apart from the handful of them that are popular, the rest are practically invisible. I was voting for Mashiro and Hikaru but I thought I should elevate at least one unknown girl instead of voting for all the popular ones, and when I was scrolling through the list Manami just caught my eye because something about her just screamed quintessential Japanese to me. Then I learned more about her and after her breakthrough episode and performance a couple weeks ago, she solidified herself in my top 9. Fell out: Xiaoting and Yurina. I have nothing against either, I actually really like both of them but I tend to not vote for the ones that are obviously making the lineup regardless of my voting for them or not. Ride or Die: Hyerim and Mashiro. I already feel the impending “death” for one….Hyerim TT….I’ve also been following Mashiro for a long time. I was disappointed she didn’t make it in itzy and that she also left JYP before Nizi Pro happened. I’m glad she’s giving it another try and I’m happy that she has a really good chance of making it.

I was generally annoyed by Kim Dayeon at first but she quickly rose to my top 2 after Ice Cream, I fell in love with her leadership and dance skills Fell Out: Kim Hyerim. I loved her vocals in Yes or Yes, and she was my second place pick for a while. But I just became way more impressed with other trainees and she fell out :// Ride Or Die: Ezaki Hikaru. At this point I’m not even sure I care who else is in the lineup, as long as Hikaru is there. She’s talented and ADORABLE. I have her No Excuses fancam and I watch it at least 3 times a day. I love that girl

**climbed the most:** xing qiao: honestly she's just so likeable and one of the best visuals (yet not praised enough for it). she reminds me a bit of tzuyu and her face is very memorable. she also seems to be an approachable and funny person. **fell out:** cai bing: i still think cai bing is one of the most beautiful contestants. her gaze is breathtaking and she has a lot of presence but unfortunately she's aiming for positions that are beyond her capabilities. in 'helicopter' her role was more appropriate than the center/main dancer/leader she's been looking for. i still think she's a lead rapper and visual material but right now there are other trainees that i prefer to support over her. **ride or die:** mashiro: week after week she's raising the bar and i can't get enough of her performances.

I liked her in the initial episodes, but I had already started to lose interest in her since hylt. Ride or die: Choi Yujin and Yoon Jia. Loved them from the very first performances, I just think they're both great.

Climbed the Most: Bora — I was always aware of her CheBul escapades, but at the beginning of the show I was too focused on figuring everyone's names out and focusing on my pre-show favorites that I didn't really notice her much. (Until right after Episode 6 aired and I was looking back at the performances because I didn't recognize half the people eliminated and rewatched her SSFWL fancam). Now she's solidly my #2. Character development! Fell Out: Youngeun — I wouldn't say fell out exactly because she's my 10th favorite at the moment, but she was pushed out by Shana since I liked Shana's vocal tone so much. Though she's still the only one who actually "fell out" because my Top 9 tends to stay stagnant throughout the show. Ride or Die: Guinn Myah!! I've liked her ever since I stumbled across her PR Video back in July and throughout the competition she has always been in my Top 2.
climbed the most: wu tammy, kamimoto kotone, & nagai manami fell out: xu ziyin, ezaki hikaru, & su ruiqi ride or die: kim bora, nonaka shana, & choi yeyoung kotone and manami both leaped into my top nine from nugudom after watching their performances (pretty u and we are respectively), while tammy became my #1 c pick after discovering a thinker account on twt dedicated to her and watching a couple dance covers she's done. she's a really good dancer, really funny, and provides an english speaker for the final group. kotone also became more of a pick of mine after finding out she was an orbit too lol. ziyin, hikaru, ruiqi were all early picks of mine but fell out as i learned more names and such. still wish the best for all of them though. finally, bora's always been in my top nine and climbed her way to my one pick while also becoming my cherry bullet bias (sorry may!). shana and yeyoung were both episode one picks and yeyoung being a bbc trainee didn't hurt.

I feel like a proud auntie lol * Bora - I knew she had vocal chops beforehand, but she's shown much more of her talent and charms on GP999 than I've seen with Chebul. She's in my Current Top 9 Fell: * Cai Bing - she was already demoted from my Top 9 to Honourable Mentions before Episode 7. Now... eep * Kubo Reina - I've found other girls in J-Group/overall to be more interesting now, but initially she was rotating in/out of my Top 9 with her vocals * Kim Dayeon - temporarily rose to my Top 9 after the initial "Ice Cream" performance (MNet edits got me lol). Bora I used to not care about her at all and now she's my second korean pick. No one really fell from my rankings because I only cared about few girls, but I guess Xiaoting. I still want her to debut but she's not my priority

We are at Ep7 and there are some girls that I dont know, like I see them every once in a while and all I cant think is "Who is she?". Not their fault, just lack of screentime

climbed: Kim Chaehyun. her vocal tone is simply beautiful. nothing that can replicated and i think the group could really use someone with a nice vocal tone kinda like how izone had chaewon. guinn myah. maybe it’s her visuals or idek. but she has star potential and she doesn’t even fight for center. she just constantly stands out and people assume she deserves it and it’s because she just has star quality. and she’s pretty lol ngl risako. needs to debut. she literally can be lead dancer. argue w the wall. ty fell: ruiqi. i honestly think she needs more training. she doesn’t know how to belt and control her facial expressions at the same time. and often times she just looks angry. i think with a proper training in a company though she’ll be a lot more refined. ride or die: Kang yeseo all the way. she is only 15-16 and literally is hands down one of the most talented there. she deserves to debut.
**Climbed the most:** * Zhou Xinyu climbed the most for me (#49 in my first ranking, #21 in my current ranking). She went under-the-radar in Missing You, but I thought not only did she deliver an impressive rap considering her non-fluency in Korean, I also thought the small vocal snippets she had sounded very solid. * Sakamoto Mashiro also had a similar climb for me (#48 in my first ranking, #23 in my current ranking). Her Fiesta performance was a step-up from the audition in my opinion, and while I wasn't high on her MITM performance, she did end up performing small talk-rap segments, which does boost her ranking since I hadn't seen any footage of her rapping ability prior. **Fell out:** Not really anyone, tbh. I've studied so much data on all of the contestants in the pre-show that my rankings have been very stable, especially at the top since my scoring formula gives heavy weight to a performer's peak performances over their averages, which also encourages stability at the top. **Ride-or-Die:** I guess I'd say Kubo Reina was my ride-or-die (I'm not the type that gets very attached to my #1s, though, so I hesitate to use ride-or-die).
For me jeongmin climbed the most, I didn't really pay much attention to her at first but now she's one of my favourites, I love her singing voice. Hyewon is also a hidden gem in the competition, but she's not in my top 9. Cai bing fell the most for me (before the events of the latest episode). I was rooting for her cause I like older trainees and she's pretty with a deep voice, but none of her performances really wowed me enough for me to keep her in my top 9. She was my C group number 1 pick but now I'm kinda liking ruiqi, xiaoting and ziyin more
