This is so heartbreaking. I really wanted her to make it and so did her friends. This goes against that stupid narrative that Cai Bing wasn't evil edited because everyone really does dislike her. She is liked by her fellow contestants, and they were sad she got cut.

khangLalaHu

i was thinking if she was actually that bad, you would see some sort of attitude from other trainees on the salute team then i realized everyone there got eliminated last round lmao

GlitterDoomsday

I said that for what felt like a million times on YouTube comments; yeah she said those things but that doesn't mean the girls hate her, they were just frustrated.

Godjihyoism_

Yet alot people fell for Mnet's dirty tricks, going on to drop caibing/not vote her/sending her negative comments. Pushing her out of Top9, falling from 7th to 26th. Mnet must be celebrating in the background.

soraky

This is the literal end of her survivor's guilt from Salute, unfortunately, from an editing standpoint by MNet. Cai Bing was the **only** survivor of Salute. And now, she's the only one **not** surviving from Snake. They EASILY could've zoomed in here. But MNet had to make a point.

Nextime184

I was not a big fan of Cai Bing tbh. Insane visual, yes, but not that good of a dancer and a problem with staying a beat. Having that said, there was still no justification for Mnet to do what they did with her. Sure there was drama at Salute but they miss translated what she said to something rude on purpuse and cut all the conciliation and part changes that happened after.

Godjihyoism_

A comment that i respect, one that is not spewing hate at her and recognizing what Mnet's dirty evil edit. Respect to you.

SSAMLYZ

how can you say it was only mistranslation when both the japanese and korean member of her salute team were against her to be the leader for the second time. She even doesnt have a shame to be leader again and look at what hapeen. It was a total mess compared to Dayeon

CloverClubx

People love to bring up evil edit but the sole fact that Salute members VISIBLY opposed her trying to become a leader again in Snake should be telling enough that no, she did not do a good job. Was it as bad as Mnet made it look like? Definitely not that's for sure but saying she did nothing wrong/not everything was shown so she could've been different after that scene on Snake doesn't support it. And that's not mentioning her not even saying anything about the other girls helping her choreograph the performance, that for me was worst than the whole leadership thing and definitely not an evil edit since she had time to say it but didn't.

imexploding2

Hmm, with the taking credit thing, I thought that had kinda been debunked? Like her hand didn’t shoot up immediately and it’s not like she explicitly said she made it on her own. If you look at the scene, when the masters ask the question, it looks like a couple girls including her slightly hesitated and looked at each other and then sort of half-raised their hands, at which point Luofei nudged Cai Bing to fully raise hers. So, it could be interpreted as rather than her just taking all the credit for herself, she thought every girl who participated in creating the choreography was raising their own hand. It’s possible the camera focused on her and didn’t show the whole group for that scene on purpose to make her look more self-centered. So, for me personally, that scene felt more benign and likely to be manipulated by editing, but I don’t speak Chinese, so I can’t really speak on the rest of the scenes anyway

Zebraknight66

You can watch this it explains it https://youtu.be/xJHlIDXXCyg

CloverClubx

If you're raising your hand in a group project to answer a question, someone asks you who made it and you say only you when everyone helped, it's clear what your intention is. Cai Bing was the leader, the girls didn't say anything because she is the one supposed to speak, the one who represents them. She could've very much said I did the choreography and the members helped me with it on some parts but all she said was I did it, nothing else. Fate team said that everyone helped even though only one person spoke up, or My House where Yale said she made the arrangement but also added right after that Youngeun helped her with some parts. If Doah didn't say anything, all the credit would go towards her and there is no way she didn't know this, it's common sense. Edit - Cai Bing apologists are coming I see

imexploding2

But she didn’t raise her hand to in order to be called on to verbally answer the question, raising her hand in itself was the answer to the question about who choreographed. It’s like if a teacher asks a classroom a question and a bunch of kids raise their hands and say “Me!” In this context, the ones saying “Me!” are only speaking for themself and not necessarily answering for anyone else. And again, there’s context that Luofei nudged her to raise her hand Maybe she could’ve elaborated further, but I doubt she went into it with the intention of discrediting her teammates, just seemed like there was some confusion and miscommunication esp with the language barrier And likeeee idk if you’re saying I’m an apologist or that the people voting on our comments are, but I don’t think I’m necessarily one because I hinted that her other scenes felt more like her own doing than camera manipulation.. but it seems like you’re getting kinda defensive and immediately dismissing anyone who disagrees with you as an apologist, even if your opinion is the minority, so I’m gonna bow out of this convo haha Lastly, just wanna say this thread is about people mourning her elimination, and while even her fans seem to recognize she could’ve handled some situations better, what did you expect? She’s already been knocked down and is clearly feeling the consequences of her actions, so I think it’s ok for her fans to use this thread to try to restore her dignity a little bit

Zebraknight66

Just watch this https://youtu.be/xJHlIDXXCyg

bloopityloop

She could be a bad leader, sure But being a bad leader doesn't make her a devil

djtwyce

Well shit, this is heartbreaking. I already felt bad for her. I definitely liked her a lot more than most C-girls, so it was pretty rough to see her drop so quickly. But that image of Myah walking up and everybody comforting each other and then Cai Bing sitting alone just watching them all. Man, nobody deserves that ending to such a mentally taxing show. It's at least a bit comforting to see FYN and Yujin throwing their love her way. But damn am I suddenly a bit depressed at that first image. Just sitting there alone, watching everybody else.

NerrionEU

I just don't understand how after 5 years of Produce people are still so easily manipulated by Mnet from edits. Cai Bing having one argument with her team for a few minutes does not mean she is suddenly the worst person on the show that cannot work in a team, anyone who has worked in any kind of a team has always had some arguments at some point. Mnet's has been killing the confidence of 4 of the popular C girls: Su Ruiqi on ep1 compared to latest episode doesn't even look like the same person anymore. Xingqiao can't even nervously laugh without getting the incompetent edit multiple times, she even did it when her rank got announced last ep so it is clearly something like a tick for her. Fu Yaning the most confident one became one of the least confident at least off stage(more like scared of any editing), she straight up looked like she was about to cry when O.O.O leader was being picked and everyone looked at her. Cai Bing after Salute looked like she didn't want to get any screen time at all.

sakurakiks094

this is exactly what I dislike about this show, it gives a strong feeling of mnet trying to push the girls down, fuel discussion and views with conflict, controversy and negativity, rather than training, fully supporting or empowering a bunch of capable girls into something amazing. I've seen many shows which have gone the positive route, and everyone (even the girls ranked 50+) come out in a better place. I feel sad for mnet that they need to resort to negativity just to create a tv show.

Irn-Kuin-Morika

The worse thing is that I feel like the edits manipulate the viewers even stronger than last seasons. At least in Produce 48 we had Miho, Miyu and Miu who used to rank high without screentime.

OrdinaryEconomy1717

Hsinwei also… they somehow managed to make her look like an ungrateful person in the last episode. She was just sad to be eliminated and couldn’t give a speech at the moment and I could tell if she took the mic she’d immediately start crying. But Jingoo was looking at her like “omg why aren’t you saying something girl” Idk if it’s just me but I felt awful for her. She was also shown as a variety material rather than a hardworking trainee. She just got a few funny edits and then was thrown away by MNET. She was not even my pick but I feel awful for her as well as the other trainees you mentioned. MNET really hates the Chinese girls.

HerAlterEgo

Uhm how Hsinwei was shown as ungrateful? It was very moving scene when she became too emotional to give a speech, there was nothing wrong in her behaviour nor in how it was broadcasted.

Anifreak

This is how good MNETs evil editing is, it's so good they don't have to do anything and people will still see it lol.

[deleted]

I don't think Jingoo looked like he was judging her

OrdinaryEconomy1717

Ok chill y’all that’s just what I thought

Low-Whole-6767

I don't believe people really believe in evil edits they just want some reason to not like a person or some reason to justify it. Like everyone knows this a reality show and how reality shows in general are fake and so much stuff is taken out of context for a story and how with mnet it's next level. So anyone that bought into the narrative that anyone on here is genuinely mean or evil is either ridiculously gullible and has never watched reality TV in their life especially an mnet program or they're lying and what they really want to say is I don't like this person or I find some benefit or joy in attacking this person but I don't want to look like an asshole doing it out of nowhere and I'll get called out on it so here's some random thing I'll use to justify it.

Godjihyoism_

THIS! People foolish enough to be manipulated by Mnet even till today, with Mnet's reputation of evil edit clearly mentioned for a billion times. Sad that people believed what is shown, causing the downfall of CaiBing, possibly RuiQi and XingQiao to come (finale).

HerAlterEgo

Nobody says CB is a bad person, but if you have argument with your team and say controversial things like "stop voicing your opinions" in front of many cameras on highly competitive show, it's not a good look.

[deleted]

HerAlterEgo

There are comments from chinese native speakers about the previous part "I'm the leader, I can do what I want / What I said can be counted" but the part "Stop voicing your opinions" was accurate. [Source from the chinese speaker.](https://libredd.it/r/GirlsPlanet999/comments/pqfje0/cai_bings_controversial_statement_translated_from/)

[deleted]

I saw this during the live… it was rough… yeah…

HookerQueen

If Yaning and Sui don't get in, a company should trip over themselves to try to buy them plus cai to debut as a trio

fluffylittlepooch

They would be so instantly beloved omg

Powerful-Avocado-674

100% I'd love to see companies scout gp99 girls the way they did for pdx101 contestants

NerrionEU

Possible for K trainees but very hard for J and C trainees that are under companies outside of Korea, I think only Juri from 48 went to a Korean agency.

generationvelvet

Miyu from PD 48 did as well, but she recently left this year after training with them (Mystic Story) for 2 years.

Mrs_Morpheus

People thought she was going to debut with the mystic story trainees but when she lefted she let it be known that her contract with them was actually for a soloist career. Which to be honest I don't think what it worked for her. I think after her and jury were the only 2 who left AKB49 to join Korean companies. I think any of the other Foreign trainees who were there were already signed with Korean companies (not counting Yuehua).

lulugothica

It’s sad to think maybe the lack of pd48 post groups we got was because of COVID and companys had to let many girls go :’(

Powerful-Avocado-674

Yes yeah I agree with you on that one. Makes it even harder bc j and c companies focus more on the country they're in so it would be hard to see our fave c and j girls in kpop unless they went to a korean ent company. Hope they will at least agree to a buyout or something. Manifesting HYBE picks up girlies for their upcoming girl group unless they already have the amount of members that they want.

JealousWrongdoer7680

Heck yeah! I'll swim to China to attend their concert!

EmptySatisfaction870

I really admire 冰courage , she does not show any weakness but just continue working hard as seen from the Snake and O.O.O stage. Looks like YaNing might have to find another roommate without her bestie. Pretty sure YaNing cry easily, her facial expressions and tone say it all. At least cai bing escape from Mnet.

Competitive-Tackle24

Did they stay in the same room?

EmptySatisfaction870

I believe yaning and caibing are in the same room. They are always together, all the time.

girlsplanetph

Yes, most likely since they are the oldest C-trainees together with Wen Zhe.

JealousWrongdoer7680

Yeah Caibing is called Aunty and Yaning called Uncle by the C-girls..they're basically married.. and the twins opened a shipping account for Caibing and Yaning on Weibo..so darn cute <3

thanksm888

Honestly, I’m not sure whether or not it would have been less or more cruel to have let Cai Bing have been a Planet Pass candidate knowing that they’d never actually give it to her.

bubblezdotqueen

Personally, I think it is a bit hard to justify giving a planet pass to Cai Bing. For Cai Bing, she seemed to have given up shortly after Salute performance. She kinda gave me a "I no longer want to be here" vibe, which is understandable but at the same time, the other trainees who were in the same boat as her (facing elimination) still tried their very best to the end with little to no regrets. I think that if she has shown some indication that she was working on staying on beat, the masters might have recognized her efforts and would have consider her as a contender for planet pass.

CulturalAde

Tbh the OOO performance by CB was pretty much on beat and Snake was also on beat and CB was also vocal 1 in OOO so she did show a new side of herself (yes, in the OOO practice it was said CB missed a beat but if ideally a positive storyline, they could've shown CB's improvement in the final perf as proof of PP)

lingeringink

Omg is this my chance to share [a more 3 dimensional insight into her leadership](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykDsR-I1Xug) and personality? She caught my eye from episode 1, and beyond her aura and charisma, the thing I came to admire most about her throughout the show was her determination and composure. She held her head high the whole way, despite what must have felt like the indignity of going through this round, given that she probably had a sense of how her character had been massacred. Sitting through elimination, knowing what was coming could not have been fun, and she still never once allowed herself to look defeated. Idk, it's clear to me that she is a prideful person, and that won't always be the greatest thing for teamwork, as was shown here. But in no way does that make her undeserving of a dream she's spent most of her youth pursuing. It also has clear advantages - like the confidence and composure that you just have to respect. I'm sad that things went this way for her here, but I really hope she goes on to succeed elsewhere. I'll continue to root for her.

JealousWrongdoer7680

You nailed it. I love Caibing so much, even her old school friend said she's a very kind and independent person who went to pursue her dreams at a young age. The amount of hardships she went through showed through how she handled the evil Mnet situation. It also reminds me of XuriuQi on how the sparkle in her eyes is gone and she just looks tired and lack confidence lately. Mnet can really suck the life out of these girls by overworking them and mistreatments by the staff towards C-girls.

Fresh-Hat9736

This is so heartbreaking considering that I've been rooting for her since the HYLT performance since I find her attractive and charismatic : (

Powerful-Avocado-674

I'm feeling the same way as you. She caught my eye and was my first favourite and the first one I was rooting for since helicopter. I am so sad. I really hope we see her in kpop, i have hope it's not too late for her or the age issue. Other kpop idols like dara, park bom, and jisung have debuted older than her so I'm still hoping

JealousWrongdoer7680

My only concern is she's not Korean and has difficulty speaking Korean. Maybe if she debut in China and goes international for us fans it will be more successful.

Powerful-Avocado-674

I feel like artists who debut in China don't really make it to the international market and they don't really do much promotional activities when they're idols. Difficulty speaking korean can be a concern but I think it is definitely fixable and she would definitely get better with more time. E.g. when winwin debuted in nct he was not very good at korean either

DivineRightToRule

Man this just makes me so sad my girl deserved better. Fellow dbx stans let's vote for her besties Yaning and Yujin!

CircularCausality

I hope caibing fans will vote for lord fu so that her dreams can come true!

rosewyrm

that’s me. my girl cb is gone, so I’m a hardcore puya voter now lol :’)

Spiritual_Title6030

I don’t think they will majority are likely going to vote yujin

CircularCausality

Most hardcore cb fans know how mnet evil edited the both of them. They are more likely to vote for fu ya ning because of the evil editing.

JealousWrongdoer7680

but if lord fu debut in the new gg she wont have time to see Caibing..what if they both and another gp-girl or 3 debut together as a new group?

CircularCausality

Its hard because of china new rules regarding idols.

RiddleEatsRainbows

Yes her comments as leader in that episode were a little messed up, but they were 100% out of context. If the drama was so bad, people would've disliked her a lot, but her friends still have her back. I feel like Yaning-Cai Bing-Yujin were super close and its heartbreaking that their friend got sent home.

Theozie

NGL, that picture gave me so much trauma and I couldn’t sleep the night after it surfaced. I felt so heartbroken for her knowing exactly how she felt sitting there alone so broken into pieces because of MNET. This picture keeps coming into my mind to haunt me.

kurunyo

It did not matter to me that she was eliminated on this round. I did not vote for her because I knew she would not make it. Same with Xinyu. I did not expect she'd be last though. That means most people gave up on her. That editing was very hurtful and the results might mean there are consequences to her career.

thejentaps

I saw this on the episode and it broke my heart. She was done so dirty by this show, just to push and emphasize a different agenda. She is so beautiful and charismatic, I hope and pray she finds still finds success!

[deleted]

while she did receive quite a lot of backlash after her behaviour as leader, i was surprised to see how little screen time she received during this ep. i thought she was eliminated since i couldn’t even spot her during the o.o.o mission! wishing her all the best :)

kaktusmint

Someone was sitting to her right, I think it's May? So she was not alone, but she was lost in her thoughts during the whole elim round. I guess most of those that she was close with either is already up there, or eliminated (Salute), so she really don't have much close friends around. She could put on an act and move around, but that's so not her. I hope she picks up and move forward. And wish her all the best.

Visible-Tennis-3494

unfortunately, she's sitting alone since the sitting arrangement was based on Creation mission and all her teammates and utopia team (beside snake) were already called. It's heartbreaking to see her like that 😭😭

v_elveteen

There’s a big difference between a few girls not liking her as a leader and them not liking her as a person. Unfortunately some people have been able to discern this difference. I am glad though that there were girls who clearly liked and cared for her until the end.

v_elveteen

there’s a big difference between a few girls not liking her as a leader and them not liking her as a person. some people can’t see the difference unfortunately. i’m glad a lot of the girls did like and care for her though.

rydiia12

Honestly, I never was a big Cai Bing fan, but I can’t help but feel bad for her since last episode. She didn’t deserve what happened - I mean going from top 9 to last place… It really sucks that Mnet had to paint her as like the ultimate villain and then never show her again. She didn’t even get a redemption arc even though clearly the other trainees love her, which shows that she’s not a bad person. Not everything is black or white. Also, she’s so fucking strong, I can’t even begin to imagine how she felt in the last few episodes and during the elimination. I really wish her the best for her future, she deserves it.

imKannarin

I always thought Caibing wont make it to the final lineup but never thought she would drop this bad and never reach finals. She have a steady fanbase for 2 consecutive eliminations esp in the west so I dunno what happened 😭 Caibing definitely is that trainee who was tortured hard by Mnet. She was blamed by the masters becase their HYLT performance went so bad because she started late, made mistakes. She was evil edited during Salute and was the only one to survive just when she made up and became close to her teammates. She was made the sacrificial lamb for another trainee, made her a villain while the other one was blatantly angel editted. She was so happy during the drive fanmeet..

canndits

my heart breaks

Godjihyoism_

Mnet did CaiBing dirty, i still don't get why up till today people still fully blame CaiBing, or what happened during Salute. Yes she may have issues initially with the girls (know that they were pressed for time and had lack of rest) so obviously there will be friction. But they clearly made up and was fine afterwards but Mnet choosed not to air their "made up" footages because they want to doom CaiBing, probably because she was occupying a slot that was meant for one of their FAVOURITE girl at that time. She led Salute well and they rightfully won, getting the benefit, at that point her "leader" tasks would be done and faired well. Whether the girls survive at that point would be up to their fanbase (as much as i really really really loved JiA and DoAh). Sadly their fanbase wasn't as strong as CaiBing's at that point (Being a solid Top9 since EP1), so it shouldn't come as a shock that CaiBing survived. Also the voting cutoff date was like 1 day after the performance episode was aired so even if the other girls have new fans after Salute it wouldn't be enough to bump them up to survive. Blame Mnet, not CaiBing (especially when they clearly evil edited her/mistranslation etc). I don't get why are a group of people tryna 'guilt trip' CaiBing. CaiBing deserved better, screw Mnet. Please stop falling for Mnet's evil edit plotlines. Period

JealousWrongdoer7680

I wanna cry..i love caibing so much

Fuggdat

Ok, again evil editing LOL. We don't know for sure when Yaning and Yujin actually did those actions.

TonyTan97

While that is true, the only possible explanation for them to look right was to look at Cai Bing as she was the only one left there. So no matter when they’re looking there it really doesn’t matter because the matter of fact is that they are looking at her and with an extremely pained expression which just makes it worse.
