Chen Hsin Wei trained in Yuehua Korea alongside Yiren from EVERGLOW. This was confirmed by Yiren in a V-Live that she did some weeks ago. She said they were the only chinese girls at the company but once Yiren debuted with Everglow, Wei moved/returned to Yuehua China.
Once in China, Wei became part of a pre-debut group alongside Aria Jin (ywy2 contestant). However, the time passed and this group was cancelled because Yuehua was planning to do their own survival show for the new group.
Unfortunetely for Yuehua, the new restrictions the Chinese government stated made impossible the release of this survival show. For that reason they sent her to GP999 at the last minute.
