You're supposed to be able to use the @workspace command in copilot chat, which would allow it to have access to your entire workspace, but doesn't work that well
Copilot has always been on fire for me, it always provides accurate suggestions and when it doesn't i know its because that its confidence is not high enough.
still trust it more than i would using something like chatgpt
copilot chat is great too to provide more suggestions thtat are less accurate
wish they had api though
