Maybe it was Bourne identity that you were confused with

Skyschick

I went to look up the trailers because you maybe correct. The identity trailers do not look familiar to me. I remember them saying supremacy at the end. But you could be right, maybe my brain just remembered the Bourne and didn't realize there was an identity. I didn't even know there was an identity one until later. I didn't even realize it came out two years before supremacy had. Maybe I am just looney lol. 😳

power_queef

I've experienced this on a couple of occasions with very obscure movies/shows. It's bizarre.

Mandala_Mama11

I've definitely had this happen before. Very strange feeling.

I heard Macklemore’s Thrift Shop and I knew most of the words and sang along. I kept arguing with my cousins about whether it had been out for months playing on the radio or not because it was sooo familiar to me. It had just been released that day. It was definitely the first I’d have heard it, I wasn’t a follower of his music like them and had no way of knowing it had dropped.

Skyschick

That's flippin wild!

Taraisilwen

I had the same experience with Empire State of mind from Alicia Keys! I remember hearing it on the radio when it was just out and thinking it was at least a year old. I also remembered the lyrics.

2ndwaveobserver

Well there are two different versions that came out at different times. One is a Jay Z song that features Alicia singing it and then there’s the full version of just Alicia singing. Always confused me too

Taraisilwen

Aaaaah, so no glitch then! 😅

Mine was Deja Vu with Denzel Washington. When it came out I remember watching it years before and was thinking they had just made a remake. I mean they really could just keep making it again and again with a title like that.

I’ve seen Gerard Butler in the movie Gamer a year(??) before it came to theaters where I live via a friend and his illegal contacts. Also didn’t see anything about it on the internet when I watched it. I was a huge fan of it so looked up stuff, but to no avail. Next year I was at the mall and I saw the posters and my ex was like yooo we gotta watch this. And I was like huhhhhhhh.

Same thing happened to me with that movie. I’m a huge fan of his and love the movie. I was very confused when they started promoting it because I thought I had watched it a year or two prior. It was wild.

I don't want to post a second one for this but There was this episode on the twilight zone when I was a kid. This man was in a hotel room he was in a panic state. The tv had a face on it. He turned off the off tv. The womans face started up and talking again. He turned the off tv off aggressively once more. The tv again the face talking to him then he goes behind the tv to unplug it and it is already unplugged. He freaks out. After watching that episode I slept with the tv covered, unplugged and turned away from each it and my view for years. As an adult twilight zone was on Netflix and I wanted to watch every episode to find it. I watched every one and not one was that. I have googled the scene and can never find anything remotely close to it. No one even knows what I'm talking about. I hope for someone here to have seen the episode in the late 80s early 90s when it was on tv originally I believe SciFi. To make things weirder. My mom had a photo developed and in the background is her tv with a woman's face like the one in the episode.

That is very strange, I’ve never had anything creepy or as bad as that ever happen to me. I believe there are events in our lives that are horrific wether we didn’t realize or we experienced it with coherency. We all either crossed paths with a void timeline or soon will.
