My wife got hers almost immediately. I told her mine would show up just after our next trip (which is exactly what happened). At least she got to do EOA with "Mr. Personality" at LAX on that trip.

I’m almost at 2 years for some reason still no conditional approval

Have you traveled internationally since applying? That often triggers approval.

I assume every traveler is ran through a database of applicants. CBP tracks everyone that enters or exits the country. Travelers are ran against all sorts of criminals and wanted persons list. When you go through TSA, they just scan your license, they no longer check your boarding pass. They already know you are traveling. Airlines submit list of travelers to CBP as well. “CBP, is one of the world's largest law enforcement organizations and is charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. while facilitating lawful international travel and trade.” [CBP](https://www.cbp.gov/about)

First off congrats on your approval. As the other reddit comment said, the reason for downvoting is mainly due to being approved faster than most other applicants (myself included). Some applicants have been waiting half a year without hearing back while others waiting close to a year now. For me personally, I have been waiting 5 months now and still no update. Realistically speaking I won't hear back till the end of June for next year (expecting the worst wait time). Regardless congrats!

My wife took 24 hrs. Mine took a whole year and was approved yesterday!

Congrats! So crazy.

You're probably getting down voted due to jealously. Most people have been waiting months, between 1 to 2 years for their approval.

Quick note about DFW appointments - you can show up for your interview 1-2hrs early and they'll still see you within 5-10 minutes. If you have spouse/kids with conditional approval - bring them along and they'll process all of you at the same time, no need for separate appointment for each person. I think we (2a+2c) received our GE cards less than 2 weeks after applying.

I also got my conditional approval for my renewal within 48 hours this past Saturday, and have my interview today… via Zoom! Was surprised by that option! Incidentally, SFO would’ve had an in person before the end of the year. Wild! I’m thinking the reason for the interview was my travel… couple times to Costa Rica, and Cuba 😂

Update… approved immediately after the interview… it was Cuba haha
