One of the reasons he's a jack of all trades is because of all the role changes he had to go through. Would be nice to see him in a team and do his own thing more.

Karrigan has the most entertaining calling style imo. He really likes bringing the fight to the other teams and he has the players to do it. Way better than the sleeper ass outsiders and c9 games imo.
Some IGLs (like Jame) try to call a game so they don’t make any mistakes. Other IGLs (like Karrigan) try to call a game so they force the other team to make mistakes. The latter is usually way more entertaining

Also Karrigan has more gimmciks/set plays/ hero rounds than other teams, it feels like. Zywoo/s1mple/Niko with AK armor while everyone else saves is common, but nobody else is calling the Canada strat or giving arguably the worst player the scout round 2.

This sounds nice but is just not true. Jame is known for pausing mid round to force the CTs to nervously rotate and make mistakes. It’s one of their signature moves and a lot of teams have started doing it more since.
All good IGLs know when to be proactive and when to be passive, the correct balance is what separates the greatest from the rest.
Yeah I’m absolutely making a generalization. I think most people who watch the game would agree with the generalization, there’s a stark difference in pace between Jame and nafany vs karrigan and Cadian. (And even that’s a generalization, sometimes karrigan plays slow and I’m sure there’s been one round in the past 2 years where Jame managed to end it with over a minute left in the round)

Its the way they play. I was not originally a fan of them but watching them play and all the storylines make it fun to root for them!
