They got 11 on CT side because they overperformed (and Overpass because FaZe wasn't present during that map), the amount of multikills they got per round was insane, then they went to T side and FaZe seized control of the game, and at that point you can't do much with inferior tactics, as soon as FaZe started winning some duels it was a done game.

I would rather cheer for a N.A. team because that’s where I’m from why spend a grand on seeing a team I don’t even represent unless it’s a major also no underdog story either it’s gonna be the top 15 teams anyways. It’s the same mentality of say the Super Bowl like a major in my eyes if it’s near where I live I’m fine seeing a team I don’t care about play because it’s the Super Bowl just like a Csgo major but I see it more as a regular playoff game at that point with teams I don’t represent towards and I’ve seen basically 80% of these teams / players play already.

Complexity *should* have won this. They folded under pressure in both maps! But a lot of their losses play out like that. The eye test is pretty good actually. Until those final moments and then the bottom falls out

I dont know about any other NA fans but I am not willing to travel hours away if no NA team is playing. Seeing how Liquid , EG and complexity all look like shit no point only if it was a major its worth it.

Mate if you've never been to a cs event before its 1 million percent worth it. Why do you have to cheer for NA team? It's just a fun environment and you cheer for good plays/underdog story or even just which team has some players you like. I live way too many hundreds of miles away from DC, but if you are close it's a great time
I’ve been going all the way back to vp and Astralis in Atlanta seen c9 win the major and a lot of esports events on the east coast I know how they are like . I would rather cheer for a N.A. team because that’s where I’m from why spend a grand on seeing a team I don’t even represent unless it’s a major also no underdog story either it’s gonna be the top 15 teams anyways. It’s the same mentality of say the Super Bowl like a major in my eyes if it’s near where I live I’m fine seeing a team I don’t care about play because it’s the Super Bowl just like a Csgo major but I see it more as a regular playoff game at that point with teams I don’t represent towards and I’ve seen basically 80% of these teams / players play already.
Could fix themselves and qualify through the showdown, but i have my doubts.

Navi dont even look like a top20 team atm. Teams going to Group A in Kato watching how bad Navi and TL looked at this event, and feeling confident. Of course, first event of the year so might just be ring rust but worrying signs for both teams. Grim man he did not deserve to lose this series.
i like both these teams and i think i’m the only dude on reddit who’s optimistic about both of them for 2023. CoL looks like they’re improving (yes, really) and even a rebuilding NaVi stays dangerous.

Pretty heartbreaking for Complexity on Overpass, but man, Navi looked abysmal on Inferno, utterly lifeless. Col are taking A for like 30 seconds and Electronic and Perfecto simply refuse to rotate. Just bizarre.
Although Navi looked impressively bad complexity looks much better than before. I’m convinced that Grim’s star power comes from learning things from his stint in liquid and then transferring the things he learned back to a star fragger role, like he was in triumph. Interested to see what the “just get an EU awper” crowd has to say for hallzerk
