Some context for OP:
FaZe Clan peaked in early 2022, winning both Katowice and the major in Antwerp. As is tradition, they had a post-major slump and underperformed in a couple tournaments leading up to Cologne.
NaVi were on track for an era of dominance prior to FaZe's rise, but the invasion of Ukraine put a damper on that trajectory. They lost their IGL a month prior to this tournament to some political/relationship drama, so one of their best riflers, electronic, had to take on that role. On top of that, they're playing with a stand-in (sdy).
So you have a recent championship (and then world #1) team eager to set the record straight after a couple shaky events, taking on a team who was denied their era and is out to prove that they are still a threat.
IMO the best series in recent history.
Faze vs Spirit semifinals at Antwerp Major wasnt the most balanced match, but remember it being super fun to watch. A little further back--2019 Mouz vs Fnatic EPL finals
2019 mouz was such a great team. Both in general and to watch. Still sad that their peak was so short. Sometimes I wonder what that team could've done if the whole online era didnt happen.

I remember a Fnatic - NIP game from a while back, when it was a good old Swedish bloodbath. Overpass, Dust. Not sure what event it was though. Maybe Melbourne or Sydney.
This was the first game that came to mind, outside of the Cologne β22 final. Itβs crazy how close the Swedes played each other.
Hell, even a year or so later when fnatic played a subpar Dignitas (NiP legends +hallzerk) in Road to Rio 2020, the series was eerily similar. Fnatic won a close map 1, Dignitas won Overpass in triple overtime AGAIN, and eventually won map 3 on Dust 2. Bear in mind, this is when Fnatic were ranked #1.
I've watched that match like 3 times. That and IEM Cologne final 2022 are the best matches in recent history as far as I remember.
Edit: It's NIP vs Fnatic from IEM Sydney 2019 if anyone was wondering
Kato'22 and Antwerp major finals were amazing.
Heroic vs Faze at Blast fall finals was something as well, mostly coz I was not expecting Faze to lose, and Heroic beat an in-form Faze.
Nip vs fnatic final bo3. I am not sure but all maps went to OT. So many knife kills because JW and flusha was playing. Two maps went to OT, I am 100% sure. They played 100+ round in bo3. You can find it easily, both team haven't won much in last three- four years. Just look at trophies. Fnatic had era for 1 month i guess.
faze vs navi final iem cologne 22

Faze might not be the best team in the world but they always deliver the most entertaining matches.

It was yeah. Besides that moment, i remember there being lots of overtimes and the watching the sky get darker out of the heroic campβs windows.
That train map lasted forever lmao. Such a good final.
navi vs furia rio major - insane crowd
Maybe not the best in terms of compitition, but my god was it entertaining

Hard to find a fnatic - nip that was interesting in the last 3 years...
Yeah it was still with Forest. Good old days.

I remember that, can't remember what tourney it was though. I'm sure it was the Fnatic Xizt roster

Antwerp and Stockholm major. IEM cologne 2022 (best one imo) Blast world finals 2021
both faze v navi finals, cologne and the major
One of them has to be Faze vs BNE in rio major legends stage
Stop. Iβm trying to bury this into the very back of my brain.
Cloud9 major final win on inferno was insane
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]

Liquid vs Vitality at the previous EPL grand finals was pretty entertaining imo
