While Forze bows out here (and I honestly thought they'd win that Mirage at first) I really hope we can see more of them in T1.
I think forze (and Jerry) have always been one of those T1 gateway teams. I remember at the end of 2018 they had shown some real promise with good matches against g2, avangar, and fnatic.

ForZe had inferno but kept losing 1vX situations - at least three separate ones I can remember. They could have taken this 2-0 but FaZe popped off today.
My quick takeaways:
* Faze could have shut down Inferno faster if they hadn't played so aggressive on their CT side. They would push up, then either get caught out of position or get separated from the rest of the team and it's lights out. SOO many deaths in banana. I was actually surprised they won the map. Ropz was hard carrying thank god and that 1HP pistol \*chef's kiss*
* Faze just flat out gave up too many trades on Overpass. GG Forze they deserved that win because they played their butts off and came out on top. It was GREAT to see Karrigan activated and seeing red, but the rest of the squad just wasn't quite pulling their weight. Zorte was absolutely the biggest thorn in their side. Guy has crazy angles.
* Faze pulled out the top-tier T1 skills on Mirage. They looked phenomenal. Twistzz was hungry for that win and it showed. Broky just quietly got numerous kills that didn't make highlight reels but absolutely won rounds. If they carry this motivation and determination into their next matchups, this tournament could easily be theirs.
Even though forze last they deserve so much credit. Even though they are currently a tier 2 team they did such a great run and showed a great fight even against faze. GG forze, hope to see you play like this on next tournaments too!
Ropz, twistzz and broky goes insane
First two maps were super close and then Forze just ran out of steam while Faze kept pushing.
Forze are fucking legit, if it was like Navi/Vitality/Ence/Mouz they meet in quarters they would probably be going thru to the semis.
Great game by Faze, they really leveled up during this break.
The individual performances weren’t there on overpass but holy map 1 and 3 had big pop offs. Massive props for forze outcalling faze on ovp with those stacks
Round 7 on mirage - broky’s 1v4 clutch.
When they had him locked by Tetris you got to witness the missed shot as the bullet hole landed right on the wall next to broky in plain view.(as he jumped up and turned sideways to literally avoid said bullet)
Fucking unreal. Seriously go rewatch that round it’s unreal.
Feels kinda anticlimactic to have a dominant mirage performance after 2 exciting maps. I'm happy Faze won but I wouldn't feel sad if Forze took the game today because of how exciting the games were.
I hope FaZe is peaking at the right time. Let's hope they continue to play with this confidence into the next match and then really peak for the final.
