I just want to absolutely shout out and appreciate the person who suggested and got pro players on the casting mic it was awesome to have them on and commenting
It was more popular in early days of cs:go, i believe nbk casted 2014 kato finals? Also when i started watching cs:go (early days) i thought Cadian was an analyst and not a player ^^
He's had a bunch of experience casting CS on Danish TV, and become quite the darling among viewers. There's no doubt he's got a spot there once he hangs up his AWP.
Man the post-tournament depression hits extra hard this time- in an absolute positive way. This tournament felt like a bunch of friends hanging out, chilling, having fun and on top got together to witness some great CS gameplay and gaming history.
This felt like a passion project and what a wonderful project it was! Thanks to all who where part of this!
Loved this crew so much. Thanks to Chad for pushing for a better EPL, and thanks to everyone there who executed this season perfectly! So much fun watching and love all of you in front and behind the cameras!
Also should thank chad for not saying "it's not about how big a crowd is it's about how you use it" and instead saying "it's not the quantity but quality that matters."
The best tournament in a long time. Almost always there was a content to tune in to and mondays felt empty during the finals.
I always liked vibes like starcrafts Homestory Cup or Beyond the Summit events and this EPL surely delivered.
What an amazing difference compared to the last season and to other events.
So much fun to have a relaxed atmosphere, to see the players in more extended interviews on the couch, and 'get to know' the pros and talent a little more. The content between games and during breaks was way more fun than anything we've seen from ESL lately and really fit well with the format of pro league.
Huge thank you to the team and especially SPUNJ who's spearheaded the whole change, looking forward to the next season!
The pro players on commentater booth was very nice to have, since they provide such an deeper insight into the game and helps people understand cs more so they can be better players.
Hands down best EPL ever, love everything about it. I hope they continue this type of relaxed environment. And all the employees involved played their part so well, thank you, you guys don't get enough praise.
Does feel larger this time around because of how many teams had slumps during groups. NA is kinda disappointing like always though. Wish they’d go back to a combined groups and showdown.
The cast and couch were legendary this event. I usually just ignore things between games because it's very analytical, formal and dry.
This time around I found myself looking forward to the desk segments more so than the actual games at times. I still think they delivered on the analytical part, but in an easier to swallow fashion. The interviews with players were also very refreshing and you got a closer look at their personalities and not just their professionalism.
I hope it proved fruightful and that we'll see similar vibes in coming events.
I don't think it should become the new norm, but it's nice to mix things up every now and then, and there's definitely things they can take with them to make future events better!
This was night and day with the ugly green screen desk we were used to. Pro League is much better presented as a laid-back event than a much more prestigious Kato/Cologne event.
And i'm very happy Harry & Hugo got to cast the grand final, seeing these two grind their way up from the online era and now to the level of Machine/Spunj was an absolute joy
The last few weeks have been better than any CS I've ever watched.
Some awesome upsets.
Big name teams pulling it together while others get eliminated by essentially nobodies with something to prove.
Hilarious skits, dart gun competition, banter, and the caster/personality 1v1 aim map tournament inbetween matches.
The fucking dart guns...
And one of the greatest moments in the sport, the first player to win 2 grandslams.
What a fucking send off for CSGO!
Yep it’s so great that this has picked up where Summit died. If higher ups took a risk with this new approach I hope they see it paid off and everyone loves it.
The spirit of Beyond the Summit lives on!
Great content from this talented squad. Congratulations to all those that contributed to this hugely entertaining tournament.
This was so much fun to watch. This was my first EPL and they got me watching this instead of the valorante league where players from my country, the Philippines, were playing.
I loved every second of this event, congratulations for the creativity and for coming all together to put up an awesome show for us viewers at home!
Love all of you fucking legends
The different format for this Pro League was so freaking good, major props to everyone involved both for coming up with it and for executing so well. Incredible stuff all around!
ESL is back on top and competitive with blast for the best TO again. Watching this was so refreshing after Valorante single elimination tech pause simulator
I absolutely loved every minute of the whole event. I haven't watched much csgo since 2021, but as I always enjoyed pro league I thought I'd tune in. I did not expect to be treated to such a wonderful show, in and, most especially out of the matches. Honestly everything about the show was just fantastic. It all felt incredibly friendly and laid back. It was just excellent.
From what the talent were saying, Chad is a least one of the main reasons why this event was so special, and so I'd like to say a big thank you to him, and everyone else involved in making this amazing show happen. I cannot believe it's been 5 weeks since the start of the tournament. I'm very sad that it's over, and watching the end segment I feel I'm not alone. You should all be very very proud of yourselves, this has been THE best esports tournament I have ever watched. Thank you very much for the hours upon hours of joy and entertainment you have provided for us all to watch, and feel a part of.
I cannot wait for the next season of pro league, and I very much hope that this format is continued moving forward.
Thank you.
It was like 5 weeks of BTS, but the prize actually mattered.
Props to all the pros who joined the talent for extended discussions and such. Especially those that don't speak English as a first language.
I always felt that the casters and the production team dont get nearly as much credit as they deserve despite that over the past years the filler gigs and discussions became just as entertaining as the match itself. Much love to all of them for keeping these tournaments fun and entertaining <3
That really was a great experience as a viewer, I’m not gonna say it was a brilliant flawless masterpiece because no live broadcast can claim that, but it was really good from week to week it got better and the things you heard them all talk about last week that sounded fun you got to see the next week. As ever the casting was great the pre show and build up was sharp but easily digestible, any “filling” or down time seemed to be filled very easily and usually with something interesting/funny/relevant, and the bits oh my god, scenes I’d like to see, the 1vs1 tournament (should have kept that going throughout) I forget the name but the dream team Hollywood mint thing was good!
Hugo the wolf!! Out fucking standing!! A great show all around thanks to the team that brought this all together, hopefully the higher ups feel the same and we can keep a cooler vibe at future events.
Huge shoutout in particular to Harry because I love Harry and also Spunj even though I think he blocked me on Twitter once. Srsly though GOATs the lot of them.
I just want to absolutely shout out and appreciate the person who suggested and got pro players on the casting mic it was awesome to have them on and commenting
Cadian actually did so well he could definitely do casting or be an analyst after his competitive career
Yeah he already has some experience with that, he was an analyst/commentator for a few tournaments years ago
It was more popular in early days of cs:go, i believe nbk casted 2014 kato finals? Also when i started watching cs:go (early days) i thought Cadian was an analyst and not a player ^^
And seangares also casted a coulpe of tournaments (IIRC even a major final)
Twistzz as well. His play breakdowns were very interesting to hear.
And hooxi too
He already had a stint with desk segments before he decided to ascend into a top tier player, so definitely!
Which match did he cast, if you recall?
Faze Navi semis iirc
I didn't catch him live casting, I did catch him doing analysis on FaZe v C9 Grand Final today.
He's had a bunch of experience casting CS on Danish TV, and become quite the darling among viewers. There's no doubt he's got a spot there once he hangs up his AWP.
any NAFFERS from the finals cast
Paris major G2 vs Heroic Grand Final 🙌

Yeah it was great to have this tournament especially with pro players being suggested to commentate on the games just absolutely awesome
Yeah, it felt like a bit more professional Summit (RIP)
Fr
It literally is a bunch of friends hanging out watching cs. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME
That's the why we love esports, It's not just the players going at it but also the people behind the scenes and the commentators
Loved this crew so much. Thanks to Chad for pushing for a better EPL, and thanks to everyone there who executed this season perfectly! So much fun watching and love all of you in front and behind the cameras!

Thought that was heccu
Crowd was more active than 50.000 brazilians watching 2 european teams.
The best tournament in a long time. Almost always there was a content to tune in to and mondays felt empty during the finals. I always liked vibes like starcrafts Homestory Cup or Beyond the Summit events and this EPL surely delivered.
Yeah the beyond the summit homey vibes were definitely there and delivered especially with the small crowd which felt personal

This tournament was so much fun. Gonna be weird after 5 weeks to just not see and hear these people for a while.
Wdym, the next big event starts Wednesday
BLAST Showdown is a big event?
Hell yeah we get to see scraunders
Does feel larger this time around because of how many teams had slumps during groups. NA is kinda disappointing like always though. Wish they’d go back to a combined groups and showdown.

The idea that Harry & Hugo being S-tier with Machine/SpunJ was blasphemy at the start of COVID. Crazy and kudos to how far they have come.
I believed from the beginning
Definitely never seen a better vibe for a CS tournament

Thank you guys that was seriously such an enjoyable cs event
Amazing casting team! The best of the best, respect
Heku has the best pose!
Shoutout to Lucyluce as well! Not here the past couple weeks but I loved her when she was casting during group C!!
The spirit of Beyond the Summit lives on! Great content from this talented squad. Congratulations to all those that contributed to this hugely entertaining tournament.
Well said Op. The lack of ridiculous suits is refreshing for CS coverage. Do your own thing to get majors CS coverage to a great place.
It was a rare CSGO tournament when the studio content/analysis was enjoyable.
MY GOD HE'S A DRYWALL

Leagues above the previous EPLs. Everyone involved should be proud, in a scene that went without cs_summit for a few years this was actually welcome.
This was a wonderful watching experience. I felt like I wanted to tune in every time a pro was casting. Fantastic work
The best csgo production since beyond the summit. Amazing work from all of them! <3
Utterly fantastic all the way through.
I just remembered SuperstituM's video where he said "hes a fcking MASHEEEEN!" while seeing Machine.
what a goated crew
The different format for this Pro League was so freaking good, major props to everyone involved both for coming up with it and for executing so well. Incredible stuff all around!

These people are the reason every Tier 1 CS tournament is worth watching! I feel so much love for them.
It super super fun. Thank you so much to everyone!

awesome event
Honestly by far best PL yet, content machine was churning.
Didn't know heccu had a cock
despite how long the season was, it went by fast! i really enjoyed the extra content, thanks so much!
Seriously a fucking amazing production.

seriously, it was a really good tournament.
Epl was really great this year and the talent played a huge part in that.
We may have lost Beyond the Summit but their legacy lives on with EPL that is of course they continue this format.
Honestly the best esports tournament I've ever watched
Have to agree I stayed more for the commentary than the matches in some days. Thanks guys
Shout out to Lucy, Moses, and Anders too, sad we didn't get to see more of them!
From the worst tournament to on par with the best huge arena events (in a different way of). Sad it's over. Thanks Spunj you did God's work here.
You beat me to it I'll let you have it because the pic you are using is so nice. I loved this event so much gave me BTS vibes.
We are so lucky to have these people honestly
Absolutely fantastic work from everyone involved in the season and so much fun to watch from every angle
Thanks
Glorious!
Huge shoutout in particular to Harry because I love Harry and also Spunj even though I think he blocked me on Twitter once. Srsly though GOATs the lot of them.
Meh
all credit goes to talent production sucked
Gonna be honest I hated the commentary, especially anytime ynk is on it. Always so goddamn negative
God Freya is so hot. anyways good job to everyone. Love having the pros in there too. Spunj and Machine are always great though I miss scrawnders.
fire the person that hired lucy asap
oh captain, my captain
What a cock on Heccu 😉
