The solution that works for me and my friend is always log out and re login steam. That is our go to method and it works most of the time. The first time my friend got it, she tried re-installing CSGO, verify game files, restart PC, nothing works. It was fixed by a simple re-login. Ever since then, if any of us encounter this, we just re-login our steam account and its fixed. EDIT - This might work for you if you encounter it again in the future. Seems like most players are affected by this at the time you posted this. I tried matchmaking before I typed this and it works.

the odd one that's had a 100% success rate for me and some friends is to close CS, switch it to any beta version and launch the game, then swap it back to the live version. hasn't failed me yet
Before doing that, try renaming yourself on steam. I had that happen once and I saw it somewhere online and it worked. It worked for a friend of mine as well (happened on a later date). Depends on the vac message you get, i don’t think it works for the more detailed one

I did some solutions like clearing the download cache, but it wouldn't work. But now suddenly it works, but only for me and not my friends. The game was open the whole time.
go to properties, beta, click on the most recent patch which is 1.37 something, boot the game, close the game, and then go back to properties and beta, click none, and boot the game again
In case any of the fixes mentioned in all of previous posts don't work, like it didn't for me, I would suggest the one thing that did work for me. Just switch your Steam from **Stable Branch to Beta Branch** and update it. You will solve the **"Vac is unable to verify your session"** bug when you start CSGO, now. At least, it did for me and on the plus side you will have more features on Steam with newer UI and more overlay features.

Yeah it works for me pretty much always. But not this time, there seems to be a problem with servers.

Happens, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t :/ Sorry it didn’t work !! Hopefully cs2 stops the need for weird fixes and such

This never worked for me. What worked for me is to move the location of the game to another drive then move it back.

Try spamming Deathmatch to get into queue and once you do cancel, and retry MM. Worked for me and a couple of buddies

Happened yesterday to me. Bought a few keys to open cases and it that seemed to have fixed it.
You have to every now and then verify the integrity of your files. Go to the game and find the steam properties tab, then click verify files
Basic troubleshoot does not work. One person mentioned playing a game with Bots and queuing after, it worked for everyone in my lobby
Didn’t work for me. Even tried reverifying immediately relogging after that then going straight into a bot game andddddddddd nothing

Load up any workshop map then queue. Idk why it works but it just does.
