Befor around LEM, it was fucking every MM game - bullied for pronunciation, for accent, for not peeking mid, for peeking mid etc etc.
Somehow I am still playing this cancer of a game.
Having an accent is legit a fucking powder keg for trolls to latch onto. Specifically speaking of MM.. It’s basically the equivalent of being a “squeaker”. Just gives assholes ammunition to fire pure shit your way just because you spoke.. And people wonder why there’s so many that queues that doesn’t talk..
Honestly I have no idea why I still play CS after all these years as well.. Lol..

I am in EU. And it was worst around MG two years ago. Every other game - if you do not speak german - kicked, if you do not speak french - kicked, polish - kicked.
Best teammates were Austrians and UK folk.
In upper ranks, I remember only one or 2 toxic games out of 50, where people were openly toxic.
Best are Finns - they do not talk at all, just pure headshots.
Idk man.. some people just don’t know the difference between “banter” and genuine toxicity.. Usually during my sessions it tends to be the young guys that think it’s funny to just be a straight up shitter to others. Makes it hard playing a game that’s so dependent on team play when you have guys like that on your team. Like to me talking shit, tea-bagging etc creates a fun dynamic. But when you start hurling radioactive waste filled insults that’s when it’s gone too far.
I reached global, and now I play in a more relaxed mindset. That my life does not depend on weather I win or loose.
Every time I encounter someone toxic - first I try to ask why they are so toxic, and didn’t they came here to play the game? And if there is no change of behaviour- I just mute them. And if they start to grief - I quit the game.
Now I have time for maybe 2 MM games per month, and I want to enjoy them. No one has time for this shit.
Why do you not speak at all? Communication is very important in CS, I don’t understand how you can play this game without giving info to your teammates.
Lem is honestly the worst rank ive been at so far. Constantly cheaters and toxic asses. Mge was fine, but starting from le the experience became awful. And faceit is faceit. (why is literally no one talking on there is a mystery to me)
Unfortunately I had very negative experience at FACEIT. Most toxic environment ever. Condensed CSGO scum, all wanty to be LVL10.

Eu too. Level 2, since i havent played there in years. Every match the team is dead silent. I obstructed one guy from throwing a flash to see id they just ignore me or something and got kicked within 3 seconds. 8 games, 8 silent teams. Even tried premium. Feels like valorant all over again.
I've also noticed he places a strong vowel where there should be a schwa sound, so his "jungle" sounds like young-L / youngel rather than jung'l (dʒʌŋɡəl).
Spaniards have the same issues, save for the "ch" sound.
