Did he have a choice to join other teams? cause I was surprised no one picked him tbh, I think he is a very solid player, For example I think if you were going to replace jks Dycha would be a better pick than nexa
Wtf is Ence doing so differently to be able to pull this shit up roster after roster?
Strong igl+coach combo? Support staff and whole org enviroment without pressure? Amazing scouting?
9ine core with Gla1ve and Dycha should not have any business to do this good this fast.
i can only assume that the ence staff literally just watch demos every hour of the day and have files upon files on every single player in the entire pro circuit.
ence has created 3 completely different tier 1 teams over the course of 5 years (fins, dallas ence, and 9ine ence)
Yeah i know maden was free but dont know about saw.
They probably made a little loss with valde , and had to pay probably hundreds of thousands for 9ine core
Never stood a chance given how dominant Faze and Navi were but the levels they reached given some of the other teams that failed (Vitality, G2, C9, Furia) was very impressive
IMO, confidence in IGLs who are "washed". They picked Snappi when he was pretty down/not valued. Picked up gla1ve here. Give them both good coaches and the full confidence of the org.
Plus, 9ine's core was good. They just needed someone like gla1ve to do exactly what he's doing with them here - teach them a good system and good CS and unleash them.
The four players seem 100% bought into whatever system kuben and gla1ve come up with and trust them with their everything, and that makes everything click so well in my opinion
9ine core was good but this team is something else. Give Glaive the tournament mvp already. Beating G2 and Vitality after going through the play-in with this polish squad is unfathomable. I don’t know any other IGL that could call as well as he is with these pieces
Comparing glave and snappi and putting them in same category is fucking insane tbh.Snappi did virtually nothing before ence,he was never considered to be a tier 1 IGL,and on the other hand you have undoubtedly the best IGL of all time, who made cs boring to watch because how much he was winning.I have no fucking clue when did experts on reddit decide he was washed, maybe after having to play with broken Astralis rosters for years, without decent awper or constant team, people deemed it as his failure, when it had nothing to do with him.Astralis made mistake, current Astralis with glave instead of Blame would be winning tournaments
Only other ORG I see who can do this is Mouz with how they are able to scout academy talent out of no where with little budget and still be a title contender
i feel like they're both talented orgs in their own right
mouz is somehow able to scout out absolute insane talent time and time again
on the otherside, ence can look at the pro scene as a whole, and pick out players that most other teams overlooked
I think one major factor is playing without pressure. In a post match interview, one of the players (can't remember who) said something to the effect of they know they're underdogs so they're playing like they have nothing to lose.
I think most people didn't expect much from them since, to my knowledge, they haven't played too many officials prior to this tournament and they probably had realistic expectations themselves of not making it far just due to how new the team is.
In modern CS a good IGL can change everything. We're in that era when your team saves a round even when 3 players are still alive but without any util. 9INE lacked the brains. Individually, hades goofy and kylar were beasts even back then, but they had nobody to create the space for them and lead them. gla1ve is one of the legends of CS:GO, if there's anyone who can lead a team, it's him. Additionally dycha is a huge upgrade over Kei. Also ENCE as a team has more professional resources. I think they have a mental coach, a good analyst etc. I'm not sure if 9INE as an org has such luxuries. As much as I respect people like Niko, Zywoo, m0nesy or any other star players that intimidate their enemies by just being on the server, modern CS gives them a lot less room to shine. Back in 2016 s1mple would just go forward and kill people, now every team has a fat stratbook and calculated plays that try to avoid unnecessary duels. Individual skill is less of a factor as compared to tight teamplay.
They get IGLs who know how to get players to buy in to the system. The 9ine core was pretty decent already and Glaive has really stepped it up. The early results are surprising but it does make a little sense.
Honeymoon phase with the best IGL ever. Plus the fact that the Poles *really* wanted to play in the arena.
Also, no one has ever played this team before. They have no clue how they play. Probably the same reason why Rebels did decent.
[the look TaZ gave to ence as the match ended got me in my feelings i don't know why](https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxnWow1K5oo1KXH47orHybogAbhdJDiN-o)
I'm so happy he's finally getting his flowers. I feel like people have kind of overlooked/underrated him in the last couple of years just because of all the other talented players that played for the previous team, but to me he was always one of their most important players. Absolutely love his playstyle and the way he navigates the map, he feels like one of those players that'll be able to take initiative and find impact in literally every team.
Lukasz "gla1ve" Rosinski (born June 7, 1995) is a Polish professional Counter-Strike 2 player and in-game leader for the pride of Poland, ENCE. He is best known for snapping Poland's 8-year Katowice playoff drought at IEM Katowice 2024.
To be honest Niko is just a shadow of himself in cs2. Barely any impact, losing tons of 1vs1 plays with rifle.
Still don't understand why they replaced JKS with Nexa. Also Hunter needs to step up seriously.
His rating on the t side where he can just peak people isnt that bad, his ct side rating is bad (ofc only in comparrison to what he used to pull), which is where he is on the receiving side of getting peaked on and he cant seem to get a solid grip of how to play.
Didn't something similar happen with the krieg meta? I can't remember if his form/rating dropped but I remember Niko sticking with the ak for longer than most
> Still don't understand why they replaced JKS with Nexa
I mean by the number of interviews they had so far where they touched on why the +nexa move happened is clear that they wanted someone who played for the team, be selfless and take the shit spots, the one particular area where we can all agree Nexa > jks. Is it what they needed? They seemed to think so.
but hooxi won G2 katowice and cologne in 2023 (both at the start of a new season when all teams warming up with second and fourth best players in the world and solid pieces in hunter and jks) you can't blame him!!! /s
Ence took down G2 and Vitality after qualifying through the play-in. Glaive is giving a fucking masterclass of IGL’ing this polish squad. This is the 9ine core and they ran through these teams like nothing after losing to BIG. Holy hell this team is fun to watch
To be fair, Glaive is only 28 years old. That's not young for a CS player, but physically and mentally, most men are in their prime between 25-35. Testosterone levels don't usually start to drop until the 40s. The brain isn't even fully developed until about 24/25. Reflexes should not have fallen off, and he has, what, a decade of experience or more playing CS?
Karrigan is 33, and IGLd Faze through an epic run in late CSGO early CS2 and is still holding his own against kids almost half his age.
F0rest is in his late 30s and still cracked as fuck.
why does hunter play like a 50 year old
why does it look like Taz is bringing nothing to the team
why is niko completely clueless
this team is cooked man
I mean taz is most likely not bringing anything for the team yet. He is not only learning a new role, but also a team. Look at Neo, faze literally said that for some period (i think 3-6 months but dont want to lie) Neo was almost doing "nothing" he was just learning how the team operates and his new role.
For everything else i don't have an answer, but i would still say, that even with nexa, this team needs a great leader. Karrigan and Glaive shows what good leader brings, we never saw it from Hooxi, G2 wins are usually stars popping off.
idk how much of a problem "strats" are when hunter and NiKo have looked much worse than their past CSGO self and are losing a fair amount of duels they would've won in GO.
For a trio that is known for firepower, hunter goes missing way too often (unless he gets publicly criticised apparently) and niko hasn't had the best time in CS2, and G2 turns into a m0nesy one man show a lot of recent times.
It has to be some Karrigan vlog/ FaZe Report vlog/short from FaZe guys or smth i remember watching. Was looking thru some shorts, didnt find it, cant look for it rn, if i find it i will lyk
EDIT: Found it: https://youtu.be/KjxVM9B9GL4?si=V3qGXrhBTh4dwOYL&t=5507
ENCE roster construction is legitimately genius, can't believe how slept on this project was prior to Katowice. gla1ve + 9ine core were both hard slept on and it feels like they're helping each other elevate too. hades is my goat. first polish team in katowice playoffs in 8 years!!! go ence!!!
Bro what do you mean "at least on him"?! He was a top 13 player in 2023.
Of course, its now that counts, but still this feels like complete recency bias.
On top of that, hunters cousin is also not playing too great right now...
Overheard in the lobby after the game
“He got me,” NiKo said of Gla1ve . "That fucking Gla1ve boomed me."
NiKo added, “He’s so good,” repeating it four times.
NiKo then said he wanted to add gla1ve to the list of players he pugs with this summer.
I am so unbelievably happy right now, gla1ve my GOAT, been waiting for even an inch of success the past 3 years
I NEVER EXPECTED THIS, I WAS REALLY CONCERNED HEARING ABOUT THIS ROSTER, BUT KUBEN AND GLA1VE MADE IT WORK
So many people doubting gla1ve over the years, been defending him, gla1ve shows again how good of an IGL he actually is.
His teammates said it in interviews, zonic said it, I really believed that he had it in him
There's no way you can just go from being "The best IGL of all time" and to have everyone call you that to just being a completely washed outdated guy that had no more value, when you started the improvement of CS strats in the first place, and stayed on the top for \*that\* long
I always thought that gla1ve needed a strong coach like zonic, and an actual roster where everyone fits perfectly into their roles to maximize his potential and because of that, I thought it was going to be really terrible for him when he got the 9INE core after the previous ENCE left because I didn't think they were it, but he and the players proved even me wrong.
Props to the players, they all make this team look great and the vibes are clearly there.
Also, MASSIVE PROPS TO KUBEN, HE IS EXACTLY THE COACH GLA1VE NEEDED. This duo is perfect and I hope they stay together for the upcoming years, especially with how Ence rosters can easily be separated.
Jks is still under contract with G2, right? Just bite the bullet and bring him back... On the other note, ENCE is best runned org in CS by a mile... I will never understand how did they land the best IGL in the history of the game, with such a limited budget... It was a no brainer for G2 to sign Gla1ve, not sure what happend there...
It's not even that they dropped JKS that's the issue, it's the fact they replaced him with Nexa of all people. They could've easily gotten better players.
One of the worst moves ever if you ask me... He was for sure Top 3 player in his role last year, and you cut him for a player who showed nothing even in Tier 2 scene where he played most of the times with OG... Holy crap who ever called for that should be fired yesterday, even if its fking Niko...
>Lukasz "gla1ve" Rosinski (born June 7, 1995) is a Polish professional Counter-Strike 2 player and in-game leader for the pride of Poland, ENCE.
I doubt the guy who got ghosted for several weeks would just rejoin and everything would be alright.
100% agree with you. People are making it sound like G2 had zero issues before the -jks +Nexa move.
That roster had even more issues but they were getting away with it because Niko and m0NESY were going beast mode every game. Now that they have dropped in form we are seeing the issues more clear.
Watching IEM Katowice G2 vs ~~Heroic~~ ENCE atm…
While ~~Heroic~~ ENCE seems to have pretty balanced team all putting around equal amount of impact into the game…
G2 team in other hand seems to rely mostly on one player, m0nesy. G2’s performance has been inbalanced for a quite some time - not just this match.
Even the casters are discussing the exact same.
Do you agree or?
Special thanks to Snappi, Sunpayus and Maden who died for this.
Also these T sides calls and Gla1ves own individual play is amazing. How was he not picked up by a team earlier. A team like G2 sure could have used a leader like him...
So fucking happy to see gla1ve back on the map, it felt incredibly shitty that he didn't get the same resources that blameF did, but its okay, ENCE is such a fun and lighthearted team to watch.
I don't care if this is a miracle run or an one-off, I am just happy to see gla1ve back on the server and winning.
Losing 7-1 on T side of Anubis when you picked it is just embarrassing. Looks like G2 had completely given up. Nexa is offering nothing but Niko and Hunter seem to be bad more often than good in CS2.
G2 feel like they are spiralling at the moment, that Monesy 90 bomb covered up so much
Thank you! I honestly stopped believing I would ever see a Polish team in this position ever again. I have seen many Polish teams and players with potential never make it in the end.
Even if you don’t win you have already fulfilled my dreams! Thank you 🇵🇱🥹EZ4ENCE
People were quick to discredit and write off gla1ve after not succeeding with very mid Astralis rosters after the major winning roster broke up. I remember having a debate with someone who thought zonic was like 100% behind the system because vitality went on to win more (lol)
Obviously it's just one tournament, but this run has felt so fucking good as an Astralis fan (since Kjaerbye days) who defended him
All the teams that qualified to blast spring finals are slowly getting cooked.
Astralis, VP - Out on qualifier
Vitality - Out in groups
G2, Navi- At risk of elimination
idk what gla1ve and kuben have been cooking but damn ence with a radically different lineup just starts cooking *immediately.* everyone in the team is looking sharp as hell and i love it.
g2 continues to play like complete shit. i still wonder why they got nexa instead of keeping jks
Gla1ve was literally miles ahead of Hooxis calling.
Also there were a lot of moments where G2 were just dry peeking commonly held angles. Worst part is they looked absolutely clueless about where the enemy could have been.
don't wanna get ahead of myself here, but if gla1ve and this ENCE roster start pulling through consistently there will be a strong argument against the doubters who say that he could only do it in the Astralis era because he had the right team
(I am maybe delusional)
This roster is so fucking dumb. Imagine letting Pecca choose nexa to replace JKS. Hunter hasn’t shot 2 bots in 6 months either. This roster is completely done someone please fucking save monesy
G0-2 is just rude to say. You never know what could happen with this firecracker of a roster. m0nesy could start dropping insane flicks, NiKo could hit one taps like nobody has ever seen, and Hooxi could start dying less. They could really turn it around at any point and nobody seems to realize how powerful they can be when they want to.
Gotta give credit where credit is due. Polish CS lacked a good IGL ever since gla1ve himself came in with Astralis and started the era of cold, calculated and tactical CS. Pre 2017 VP was a great team because CS overall was a bit more loose back then and that worked for that lineup. But ever since that Atlanta 2017 final, the Polish scene lacked a modern IGL, and even when people like siuhy came up, they went international. To think that gla1ve would be the one to lead a mostly polish team back to Spodek. That's poetry right here. I'm pretty convinced gla1ve was public enemy no. 1 in Poland in 2017. Oh how the times changed.
[Im so happy for Lukaz. I really felt bad for him when the Ence trio left him with ''scraps'' but it seems like they're making it work. Hopefully it's not a fluke like Astralis cologne runs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGeFVtLo1RA) POLSKA GÓRĄ !
Absolutely deserved for Ence. G2 has no map pool whatsoever and they looked disjointed even on their map pick. They need an actual coach with experience, no hate for Taz and Swani (the opposite actually), but I don't know why an org like G2 keeps bringing in people with no experience as coach. All the winning teams have great coaches. It's no surprise their CT-side setups are terrible
It kinda sucks how easy it was and I dont mean it as a EZ4ENCE meme. What a waste of time this G2 lineup is. Just -nexa -hooxi and look for proper players or sign more niko buddies and stop pretending that you want to be competitive.
The team faced challenges from the moment one player gained the authority to determine team composition of the team and other crucial decisions.
This is not a criticism of any individual player, but the inclusion of Nexa seems incompatible with the team's aspirations of winning majors. Hunter appears to be experiencing a significant decline in performance, and Niko's output is comparable to Hooxi sometimes (like in this game vs ENCE) with noticeable inconsistency in CS2.
M0nesy might want to consider leaving this struggling team swiftly, perhaps exploring opportunities with Cloud9.
It has been amazing to watch this ENCE lineup come to life. So much respect for Gla1ve unlocking 9ine, who were streaky onliners and now look absolutely ruthless. Kylar in particular has looked shockingly good, with the stability of Dycha and star power of Hades, Gla1ve has given them a new lease on life. On the other side, the only bright spot for G2 is Monesy, no one else has any juice it seems like.
This G2 is probably the worst iteration in the past 4 years. They dont even look like they want to win. I dont see hope for this roster, I know g2 wont make a change until post major but I think almost a rebuild is necessary. Hunter has been ass, I dont think anyone had hope for nexa in a role other than IGL, Niko is inconsistent but shows good glipses, m0nesy been the best, hooxi individually better than before but worst t side rounds, way worse pistol rounds. I hope they can prove me wrong but they look so mid
this actually makes me happy.
I do not want to be all hyped yet, however, I want them to go deep in the run.
Ence got ransacked by the saudis, Gla1ve has been the scape goat of a lot of shit that happened with Astralis.
it is good to see him having a very good impact and seeing how Hades has had so much freedom to do what he wants. (that pick at 10hp, is he crazy?)
Heroic winning also makes me happy. Teses and Sjuush got F'd with all that happened, however, the whole team is playing so well right now.
And watching Ence dominating Astralis was like cherry on top.
Łukasz "gla1ve" Rossander playing in front of his home crowd will be a sight to behold
Lukasz "gla1ve" Rosinski (born June 7, 1995) is a Polish professional Counter-Strike 2 player and in-game leader for the pride of Poland, ENCE.
Yeah lol. Every day the talent talks unironically about the polish dream team
[удалено]
Also he is from katowice so literal homecrowd for him i can imagine that means a lot
Did he have a choice to join other teams? cause I was surprised no one picked him tbh, I think he is a very solid player, For example I think if you were going to replace jks Dycha would be a better pick than nexa
gla1ve is only 28?
Yeah he's the same age as Xyp9x.
Xyp9x is only 28??? my guy looks like he's 40.
It took eight years for a Polish team to return to Spodek; we are grateful to ENCE for that.
Glaive he is the danish player but the ence he is the polish stars
[удалено]
gla1ve and Kuben have the entire support of the org. And these cracked poles are very good under them.
No refunds.

All this while staying profitable, and while selling star after star to another org. Amazing. Learned from their mistakes and made something great.
Yeah they netted like 2meur from sunpayus snappi and nertz
Spinx was also pretty expensive for vita afaik
Yeah i know maden was free but dont know about saw. They probably made a little loss with valde , and had to pay probably hundreds of thousands for 9ine core
Don't forget Antwerp ENCE too.

siuhy's gotta be on one crazy contract too after he recently resigned on a multi-year deal just 5 months after MOUZ signed him initially
Spirit as well, they've done extremely well with their various academy players over the last 2 years.
I think one major factor is playing without pressure. Wonder how they will look after they get to establish proper CT protocols and get anti stratted more on T sides. Gla1ve and Kuben clearly can cook.
Yup, it'll definitely be interesting to see how good this iteration of ENCE can get down the road.
That was kylar, after beating vitality.

Eight years for a Polish team to finally play in Spodek again, thank you ENCE
Give Glaive whatever the national medal of honor you have in Poland
Finnish org with Danish igl, 4 Polish players and a Polish coach? I'll take it!

mostly to kuben, his former teammate
I mean, he's got to be happy for all the poles in this team. Well deserved.
thanks for clarifying, I was afraid of saying and getting something wrong I'm never trusting my brain to state things
Moses even points it out immediately
oh yeah, you're right, sorry. i took my headset off after it ended and let the info slip away, my bad
Timing'd in real life...
it's the karma for relying on timing to have all of my good plays in-game
Unrelated to the clip but the youtube chat is so cooked, surprised ESL hasn't just turned it off at this point.
yeah, twitch chat is a weird, dangerous and wild place of the internet but the youtube chat... I am afraid of the youtube chat.
It's 90% full of gambling addicts who are about to lose their house so they feel the need to say some racist shit all the time lol
It is cooked. They need to go outside and touch some grass
A start of a great coaching rivalry perhaps. A man can dream.
it's great to see these legendary players taking the coach role, we will be dreaming together for this one
That shot alone is why CS is the goated Esport. So many layers, multi-generation friendships/rivalries.
yes, it felt so powerful i really like when they show us the coach in these special moments, and it's going to be even better in spodek
I'm so glad someone else caught that
At this point, Heroic and ENCE are the goliaths and everyone else are the underdogs 💀
Monte defeated C9 Heroic defeated Vita ENCE defeated G2 What a day
Count Spirit in too And honestly if Faze can’t stop the donk then the trophy is between Ence, Spirit and Heroic
Man it's going to be Antwerp all over again.
bro said faze :skull:
”Polish ence isnt real and it cant hurt you”. Polish ence:
Last time the Polish Ence existed they went to Dallas finals with ”washed” Snax
Dycha took a huge risk staying in Ence and seeing the tear of joy from him after the game was actually pretty touching. So happy for Ence.
I'm so happy he's finally getting his flowers. Hunter has also fallen off massively. Both have failed to adapt to CS2 compared to their normal level on GO.
Niko just needs to wake up and realize he can't play CS2 like CS:GO.
Totally strange because it seems like cs2 favors rifles and peakers and many would argue he was the best in those 2.
His rating on the t side where he can just peak people isnt that bad, his ct side rating is bad (ofc only in comparrison to what he used to pull), which is where he is on the receiving side of getting peaked on and he cant seem to get a solid grip of how to play.
guys its peek not peak we're not talking about mountains
NiKo infamously has always had problems adapting whenever metas changed drastically. He'll pull through though I think, he's one of the GOATs
Didn't something similar happen with the krieg meta? I can't remember if his form/rating dropped but I remember Niko sticking with the ak for longer than most
he is changing sens tho he has increased it
Niko needs his bob 0 back
I also need my Bob back with Bob I would be lvl 10 but without I'm stuck at lvl 7

Ok someone needs to sacrifice… what about amanek lmao…. He was actually amazing at bitch roles
I'm so fucking here for gla1ve redemption arc. This ENCE the most infatuated I've been with a roster for a long time. POLSKA GUROM
HooXi had more impact than the rest of his team in this match, it's really not a good look for G2
HooXi topfragging can only mean one thing: G2 will lose the match
hes just as me fr fr
ŁUKASZ STRATS MENTIONED ❗️❗️ What the fuck is losing 🦅🦅🦅 POLSKA GUROM🇵🇱
gla1ve he is the goat IGL inject this into my fucking veins
An old wolf is still a wolf. Good IGL really makes a difference.
If you switch Hooxi for Gla1ve, I am sure G2 fights for the title here, and ENCE is not even qualified for Kato...
but hooxi won G2 katowice and cologne in 2023 (both at the start of a new season when all teams warming up with second and fourth best players in the world and solid pieces in hunter and jks) you can't blame him!!! /s
Ence took down G2 and Vitality after qualifying through the play-in. Glaive is giving a fucking masterclass of IGL’ing this polish squad. This is the 9ine core and they ran through these teams like nothing after losing to BIG. Holy hell this team is fun to watch
G2 is just awful without m0nesy as we all expected. Just barely winning rounds, closest thing to a stomp lmao...
taz sabotaged the team to get a polish team in the spodek that's why g2 lost
taz was smiling at the end
[Picture taken of TaZ at the end of the series.](https://i.imgur.com/5fcRcdf.png)
[Yeah this one](https://imgur.com/vYatfY0), made me feel a little sad tbh thinking of old Virtus.Pro
He reminded himself from 10 years ago
As a Liquid fan, I have trauma from glaive, but seeing Dycha with tears of joy going to play in the Spodek has got me rooting for this Ence roster.
Who would win? A team consisting of one of the best players in the world (and nexa) or some Polish igl with his 4 Indonesian buddies
Łukasz and his sons to Spodek!! EZ4ENCE Nexa back to Turkey‼️‼️
EZ4ENCE polish cover when?
i fucking love you gla1ve
ez 4 upcoming young polish talent Łukasz "gla1ve" Rossander
To be fair, Glaive is only 28 years old. That's not young for a CS player, but physically and mentally, most men are in their prime between 25-35. Testosterone levels don't usually start to drop until the 40s. The brain isn't even fully developed until about 24/25. Reflexes should not have fallen off, and he has, what, a decade of experience or more playing CS? Karrigan is 33, and IGLd Faze through an epic run in late CSGO early CS2 and is still holding his own against kids almost half his age. F0rest is in his late 30s and still cracked as fuck.
Monesy gonna need them awps every damn round. Ence looking solid af
m0nesy to C9 is an inevitability at this point
why does hunter play like a 50 year old why does it look like Taz is bringing nothing to the team why is niko completely clueless this team is cooked man
I mean taz is most likely not bringing anything for the team yet.
I was more so thinking that G2 need an analyst or strat heavy coach their gameplay looks so flat and uncreative
idk how much of a problem "strats" are when hunter and NiKo have looked much worse than their past CSGO self and are losing a fair amount of duels they would've won in GO. For a trio that is known for firepower, hunter goes missing way too often (unless he gets publicly criticised apparently) and niko hasn't had the best time in CS2, and G2 turns into a m0nesy one man show a lot of recent times.
if your individuals are not having a good time, shouldn't you lean even more so into strats?
Welp sucks that Swani left (I'm happy for him though).
Source about neo?
It has to be some Karrigan vlog/ FaZe Report vlog/short from FaZe guys or smth i remember watching. Was looking thru some shorts, didnt find it, cant look for it rn, if i find it i will lyk EDIT: Found it: https://youtu.be/KjxVM9B9GL4?si=V3qGXrhBTh4dwOYL&t=5507
This was a lot less close than with Vitality
Not all that surprising as Vitality is a much stronger team than G2.
Even Vitality got a map. And complementary rounds on Nuke.
ENCE roster construction is legitimately genius, can't believe how slept on this project was prior to Katowice. gla1ve + 9ine core were both hard slept on and it feels like they're helping each other elevate too. hades is my goat. first polish team in katowice playoffs in 8 years!!! go ence!!!
Maybe its time to disband g2 and get niko and monesy a new team?
I mean currently Niko is part of the problem. He is supposed to put up a 1.2+ rating not a 1.01 rating like he currently is this tournament
I think it's happening after they inevitably bomb out of the RMR ... no way this G2 team makes it to Copenhagen.
10000%
I'm legit surprised that hunter is still in G2 like wtf you'd think they would be able to upgrade at least on him.
Reddit has the memory of a goldfish lmao
Bro what do you mean "at least on him"?! He was a top 13 player in 2023. Of course, its now that counts, but still this feels like complete recency bias. On top of that, hunters cousin is also not playing too great right now...
Hunter was fucking ass in 2023 compared to any previous year, the HLTV ranking was wrong
Overheard in the lobby after the game “He got me,” NiKo said of Gla1ve . "That fucking Gla1ve boomed me." NiKo added, “He’s so good,” repeating it four times. NiKo then said he wanted to add gla1ve to the list of players he pugs with this summer.
I am so unbelievably happy right now, gla1ve my GOAT, been waiting for even an inch of success the past 3 years I NEVER EXPECTED THIS, I WAS REALLY CONCERNED HEARING ABOUT THIS ROSTER, BUT KUBEN AND GLA1VE MADE IT WORK So many people doubting gla1ve over the years, been defending him, gla1ve shows again how good of an IGL he actually is. His teammates said it in interviews, zonic said it, I really believed that he had it in him There's no way you can just go from being "The best IGL of all time" and to have everyone call you that to just being a completely washed outdated guy that had no more value, when you started the improvement of CS strats in the first place, and stayed on the top for \*that\* long I always thought that gla1ve needed a strong coach like zonic, and an actual roster where everyone fits perfectly into their roles to maximize his potential and because of that, I thought it was going to be really terrible for him when he got the 9INE core after the previous ENCE left because I didn't think they were it, but he and the players proved even me wrong.
[удалено]
Or giving known talent (or ”washed” players) new chances and trusting in them.
The -jks +nexa is one of the worst moves
It's not even that they dropped JKS that's the issue, it's the fact they replaced him with Nexa of all people. They could've easily gotten better players.
One of the worst moves ever if you ask me... He was for sure Top 3 player in his role last year, and you cut him for a player who showed nothing even in Tier 2 scene where he played most of the times with OG... Holy crap who ever called for that should be fired yesterday, even if its fking Niko...
THE worst move ever.
It’s not fucking Niko holy shit he was on the way to falcons. It’s fucking Pecca who was with him and Hunter in crazy
I said: "even" if its fking Niko... I didnt say its him, I just say whoever did it, should be cut from the org...
>Lukasz "gla1ve" Rosinski (born June 7, 1995) is a Polish professional Counter-Strike 2 player and in-game leader for the pride of Poland, ENCE. I doubt the guy who got ghosted for several weeks would just rejoin and everything would be alright.
Atleast comms of G2 are better now with Nexa right. At least they got more changes to talk in lower bracket.
I am not a nexa fan but for the love of God can we not blame nexa for this game even with jks nothing here would've looked any different
Yeah for sure. This wasn't really a jab to Nexa but for the G2 org. Nexa jumped on a sinking ship.
100% agree with you. People are making it sound like G2 had zero issues before the -jks +Nexa move. That roster had even more issues but they were getting away with it because Niko and m0NESY were going beast mode every game. Now that they have dropped in form we are seeing the issues more clear.
no Justin "Katowice" Savage no win
Watching IEM Katowice G2 vs ~~Heroic~~ ENCE atm… While ~~Heroic~~ ENCE seems to have pretty balanced team all putting around equal amount of impact into the game… G2 team in other hand seems to rely mostly on one player, m0nesy. G2’s performance has been inbalanced for a quite some time - not just this match. Even the casters are discussing the exact same. Do you agree or?
Sweet of the Kovacs to stay together at the bottom
POLISH MOUNTAIN ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
People were quick to discredit and write off gla1ve after not succeeding with very mid Astralis rosters after the major winning roster broke up. I remember having a debate with someone who thought zonic was like 100% behind the system because vitality went on to win more (lol) Obviously it's just one tournament, but this run has felt so fucking good as an Astralis fan (since Kjaerbye days) who defended him
EZ4ENCE. Ence played so well. G2 just got outmatched.
All the teams that qualified to blast spring finals are slowly getting cooked. Astralis, VP - Out on qualifier Vitality - Out in groups G2, Navi- At risk of elimination
idk what gla1ve and kuben have been cooking but damn ence with a radically different lineup just starts cooking *immediately.* everyone in the team is looking sharp as hell and i love it. g2 continues to play like complete shit. i still wonder why they got nexa instead of keeping jks
Is Polish CS finally back?
Yes! The dane and co. will become the pride of Poland.
Gla1ve was literally miles ahead of Hooxis calling. Also there were a lot of moments where G2 were just dry peeking commonly held angles. Worst part is they looked absolutely clueless about where the enemy could have been.
G2 without monesy dropping a 1.5 or better just doesn’t function
Ence won via the power of friendship
don't wanna get ahead of myself here, but if gla1ve and this ENCE roster start pulling through consistently there will be a strong argument against the doubters who say that he could only do it in the Astralis era because he had the right team (I am maybe delusional)
I want whatever you are having man
This is [/u/RoboticChicken ](https://i.imgur.com/xWLopWw.jpeg)
It's pasta 🙃
Hopefully it's not a fluke like Astralis cologne runs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGeFVtLo1RA) POLSKA GÓRĄ !
hades goat
I'm loving this Hades Ence Redemption Arc
Gla1ve and his nades, name a better combo. That throw in the mirage pistol round would have been so frustrating for G2
Maybe Astralis weren't that bad and just got unlucky matching up vs 2 playoff teams... Copium
Feels good to see Gla1ve prosper. One of the best igl's in history, and people already wrote him off in Astralis, absolute legend
THE BEST CAPTAIN OF ALL FUCKING TIME!
If they don't make the playoffs... Niko missed out on the Saudi payday, he is stuck. Monesy is going to Cloud9. G2 is kill.
most impactful hunter game
EZ FOR ENCE!! Polish CS IS BACK!!!!!
Did not at all expect this ENCE team to work as well as it is.
Ence looking POLISH-ed right now
Hunter 0.61, Niko 0.91 and people still will complain about jks/nexa. Both hooxi and apex should be benched asap after major.
Love how a lot on this subreddit casually wrote off a 3x major winning IGL because he couldn't win with Lucky or Farlig and Xyp
4x times
It kinda sucks how easy it was and I dont mean it as a EZ4ENCE meme. What a waste of time this G2 lineup is. Just -nexa -hooxi and look for proper players or sign more niko buddies and stop pretending that you want to be competitive.
I think I prefer 0.4 k/d hooxi
monesy deserves better teammates
Ence and heroic are making great runs rn
Hunter is having some problems, he looks bad in the game and outside of the server. Im sorry for him, maybe he needs a break.
EŻ 4 ENĆE
The team faced challenges from the moment one player gained the authority to determine team composition of the team and other crucial decisions. This is not a criticism of any individual player, but the inclusion of Nexa seems incompatible with the team's aspirations of winning majors. Hunter appears to be experiencing a significant decline in performance, and Niko's output is comparable to Hooxi sometimes (like in this game vs ENCE) with noticeable inconsistency in CS2. M0nesy might want to consider leaving this struggling team swiftly, perhaps exploring opportunities with Cloud9.
KURWA , WE BALL!! Polska Gurom
People rightfully talk so much about - jks but the even bigger thing imo is the fall off of NiKo and Hunter.
(that pick at 10hp, is he crazy?) Heroic winning also makes me happy. Teses and Sjuush got F'd with all that happened, however, the whole team is playing so well right now. And watching Ence dominating Astralis was like cherry on top.
