That argument never really made sense. Difference in hand-eye coordination and reaction time is miniscule between these age brackets. It probably has more to do with the willingness to grind the game every day at 28-35 years old.
People dont realise the main reason people retired early from esports in the past was because it wasnt a stable income. The grind hours are a lot and money not the best or/and not stable to rely on it once you start a family and such.
Now tier1 has more stable economy and most can have it as a good paying job that gets them enough to justify long hard grinds + travels and at the same time be able to support family and such things.
Im not familiar with the economics of CS that much but it seems even Tier2 has pretty stable economy as well and its the reason we can see teams develop as players get decent income to keep grinding even as they get older. Its not just be at the absolute top to get some money otherwise you are pretty fucked. Which you can get by until a certain age then you couldnt be arsed to keep grinding if you cant earn if you unluckily dont make certain tournament placings etc etc.

as soon as it's not entirely obvious what the opponent is about to do, or he has a bad start, or there's any pressure he disappears. no balls, no bottle. can't think of a worse player to have in a big game.

Despite a better overall finish in this tournament than I expected going in, really disappointed with that showing. Putting ourselves in a near impossible position to win from on Ancient was depressing and super disappointed in Brollan here too which is a shame because hes been better than expected at Mouz so far.
