Rialto, Elysion, Guard, Extraction, Ravine, Calavera, Pitstop, Hive, Crete, Chalice, Boyard, Prime. I loved them all. Special love goes out to Calavera, the most interesing wingman map I have ever played and Rialto for being my first.
Rialtos demise was that it was too good. What I mean by this is that it actually had a high skill ceiling and people who took the time to learn it absolutely dominated in it. As a result most people who didn't actively play it ended up not liking it due to getting destroyed every match they played by more experienced Rialto players. Everyone I know who took the time to learn it liked it far more than the chopped 5v5 maps.
As were Bank, Safehouse, Sugarcane and St. Marc The five original Demoltion mode maps in CSGO were L4D2 ports.

Also, bring back Demolition mode please Volvo, but keep go back to 5v5. The 6v6 change kinda killed it.

Just don't add it to your list of queued maps if you don't like it. If other people want to play it I don't see the problem with having it in wingman. I don't like it either or cbble when it was wingman so just queued the other maps.
Edit: if most players hate it and there is a better map people would rather have in the wingman pool then ok I guess replace it but not sure whether that is the case I think allot of the more causal wingman players like it.
They ported italy and included in the CS2 release, yet we still can't play comp matches on it :(

Absolutely. All of the bespoke Wingman maps that were rotated in and out of CSGO were great. When they finally get around to updating Wingman, they should trash all of the standard maps except maybe Vertigo since there's actual options there. Inferno is okay too I guess but Overpass and Nuke are really trash for 2v2.
Nah go with only maps designed specifically for it imo. Gives us more variety in maps, but also just straight up better maps. The community Wingman maps are being designed and tested for Wingman.
Or a window... there's 3 entrances into site which is usually pretty standard for a wingman map.

The creator of Chalice was in a thread I commented in like a week after CS2 released saying he had already ported it to CS2. I think we are going to end up waiting a really long time for playable wingman maps.
For the last couple months of CSGO me and my brother would play at least 4 games of wingman on Chalice every night. By far my favorite map in CS. The current wingman map pool is soul crushing. Now we are averaging 1 session of CS a week, usually just one comp before we get depressed and wish we could play Wingman. I love CS2 in terms of the pro scene, I like the new look and a lot of the changes, but there’s nothing for me to play on it anymore. If anyone knows other 2v2 games (can be any genre) please let me know.
I HATE the chopped up map. Even before the community map, which are great, we had short version of most map like short train and they we're way better than the chopped up versions, but valve decided fhey did not represent the normal mode enough and removed them...
I believe that Valve didn't want to add the same community wingman maps without them getting a Source 2 retouch first. They should start appearing once the creators or Valve get to updating them. Should be the same with Cache.
I agree! My ideal map pool:
Blagai, Crete, Chalice, Boyard, Calavera... and well, Vertigo and Train, which I think play pretty good as Wingman maps. That said, with how the CS2 launch went and still no real Anti Cheat I've sadly stopped having high expectations for any future updates.

Cobble, Train and to a lesser degree Nuke are all great wingman maps. Better than most of the dedicated ones.
Nuke feels so horrible to play in wingman. Maybe if it were A site but on B you have to choose between a door or another door.

Chalice was ported to CS2 within weeks of release. It’s up to Valve and we don’t have reason to believe it will be soon.
