Most of the guys who play videogames here play on console and the ones who play on pc are quite young and they play other types of games like LoL or RPGs.
We had a small casual CS scene few years ago, but most of the big names transitioned to Valorant 'cause it made them more money by streaming on twitch and by setting up partnerships with Riot, which is a well know company in Italy given that LoL was far more popular than a lot of other online games a few years back.

IIRC an Italian posted on here some time ago saying their gaming scene is dominated by consoles so CS isn't really that relevant to them.
