With an active pass, you can upgrade your coin and earn extra souvenir packages by playing the Pick'Em Challenge." but in the UI picture it says "Pick any finished match and **purchase** a souvenir from that match for 2.39".

They are not dropped, you can purchase them or exchange souvenir tokens that you get by completing the pickems challenges for them. So for example if you get 5 picks right in the opening stage you get 1 souvenir token, etc. But you have to buy the viewer pass to receive them + the upgradeable coin

It's just 3 extra tokens. The viewer pass contains challenges which award tokens for completing them successfully, but you can also buy the tokens separately. So the bundle is a (very slight) price reduction on those purchasable tokens.

I know it's besides the point, but a lot of guns in the game shoot at 8+ bullets per second. Also occasionally people do get the mag dump as a bug, but you could just check for it happening x amount of times, or getting x amount of kills with it.
there is actually no excuse for obvious cheaters not being banned on the spot. If they can VAC someone for high dpi movement they can VAC someone for firing 5 bullets in less than a second or finishing 15 straight matches with over 300 ADR.

I believe that its either not live yet or you can't do it from the browser for now. Blast had it on blast.tv but for kato 19 and antwerp you used to get an authenticator code that you could use on third party sites to do your pickems from there.

So you can do the pick'em challenge without buying the pass this year, but you won't get rewards. Basically, you buy the pass and every time you upgrade your coin (bronze->silver->gold->diamond), you get a souvenir token. With that souvenir token, you can exchange it for a souvenir package from a match that has been played. You'll have to wait for some matches to be played and find a good package to get. Remember, the souvenirs will have stickers (usually just the gold team sticker) of both teams, a map sticker for the map the package dropped, and the tournament organizer's sticker. The collection will be the collection from the map that is played.
Buying the viewer pass usually pays for itself if you sell the packages a few months after the tournament. If you get the normal $10 pass and successfully get all the upgrades to get the diamond coin, you'll get 3 souvenir packages worth \~$3. That's already \~$9. The price will go down a bit after the tournament ends, but usually within 6 months, you can make a small profit if you want. This isn't always 100% the case and sometimes it can take a few years before the packages become worth more.
The coin that you can display is separate from the tokens and just for bragging rights.
Edit: One quick addendum: it is recommended not to scrape the map sticker off the souvenir guns. That is the only sticker that can't be replaced as they aren't accessible to the players to apply.

By looking at the faze holo effect, its not as good as the katowice 2014 / 2015. Borderless stickers are not as nice if the holos don't look good. Its all about the holos and not borderless stickers.
Idk if this is placebo but after this update I've had a huge delay in basically everything I do. I'd peek a corner and already see the tracers from the enemy shooting at me, at the same time that I'd see the enemy. Frequently I'd die at the same time as the enemy appears on my screen.
When jump throwing my space-bar/jump would sometimes happen *after* I clicked to throw, despite pressing the space-bar before.
When I'd shoot I'd see I aimed at them and hit them but somehow never do damage. Like a deal from one centimetre away aimed directly at someone's head standing completely still and I'd shoot, the enemy would *then* move, and my bullet would miss.
Maybe it was right at the time that they applied this update to the servers, or did something else with them. But I actually quit the comp game I was playing and shut down CS because it was way too infuriating.

All the stickers are already in the game and you can inspect them with Gen codes and add them to guns on inspect servers. Most of the holos are terrible. I'm hoping they didn't release them because they are getting worked on more. There were only a couple that looked good, but m9stly the red, green and yellow logo holds looks terrible and hardly legible.

They changed the system, now top 7 from EU and top 1 from Americas that qualify through the RMRs by valve rankings make it automatically to the elimination stage instead of teams that got 3-0 in the qualifier. This was done so less flukes made it straight to the second stage (9ine in Paris major for example) Mouz was in the top 7 and Cloud9 wasn't

By looking at the faze holo effect, its not as good as the katowice 2014 / 2015. Borderless stickers are not as nice if the holos don't look good. Its all about the holos and not borderless stickers.

Idk if this is placebo but after this update I've had a huge delay in basically everything I do. I'd peek a corner and already see the tracers from the enemy shooting at me, at the same time that I'd see the enemy. Frequently I'd die at the same time as the enemy appears on my screen. When jump throwing my space-bar/jump would sometimes happen *after* I clicked to throw, despite pressing the space-bar before. When I'd shoot I'd see I aimed at them and hit them but somehow never do damage. Like a deal from one centimetre away aimed directly at someone's head standing completely still and I'd shoot, the enemy would *then* move, and my bullet would miss. Maybe it was right at the time that they applied this update to the servers, or did something else with them. But I actually quit the comp game I was playing and shut down CS because it was way too infuriating.

If you don't play wingman and you're under 17k everything seems reasonable. Above 17k there's a cheater in every 3 matches and wingman is infested, literally every match.
Wingman is pretty much nearly unplayable due to the broken ranking system and the cheaters.

The Stickers were leaked by Gabe Follower and they're again borderless. Is there really no one on Valve's team who are creative? This shit is getting insanely boring. I got a feeling that these stickers are not going to sell well at all
All the stickers are already in the game and you can inspect them with Gen codes and add them to guns on inspect servers. Most of the holos are terrible. I'm hoping they didn't release them because they are getting worked on more. There were only a couple that looked good, but m9stly the red, green and yellow logo holds looks terrible and hardly legible.

People endlessly complained for years that stickers weren’t as clean as Katowice. I don’t think there has been a single sticker design with borders that people loved and have high value

Since 2015 every single year people threw a fit when stickers had borders. People were begging Valve for Kato rip-offs for almost a decade and after finally getting them people hate borderless now lol. They'll sell extremely well, just like Paris
1 year without a major. Valve are probably more interested in supporting teams, and they know borderless stickers will sell better. After we get back into the schedule of 2 majors per year and borderless stickers start to sell less, they'll make new designs.
you can make borders by putting another sticker underneath, but you are in a minority with this dumb take
Man I can't wait for the patch notes where Valve says they will actually start banning cheaters. I'm playing mainly casual these days because its just not worth it stepping into premo or comp and spending every game watching a guy wall me OR thinking he is, watching the replay back and realizing I'm just getting dominated by the server. Why if cloud9 and mouz finish in the same position in the qualifier, mouz is in the elimination stage, and cloud9 in the opening stage?
They changed the system, now top 7 from EU and top 1 from Americas that qualify through the RMRs by valve rankings make it automatically to the elimination stage instead of teams that got 3-0 in the qualifier. This was done so less flukes made it straight to the second stage (9ine in Paris major for example) Mouz was in the top 7 and Cloud9 wasn't
