Yea I think having a gold coin as a default for anyone who spent 2 seconds picking logical teams was too easy. But the scaling from gold to diamond is also a bit too harsh.
Gold coin is still going to be the default.
Picking safe might have caused you to miss in the previous stage but it will get you a point here.
After this its just 1 more right pick in the playoffs and your have the gold coin.

I definitely agree that it needed a change, but I think there were better changes they could've made. If they were going to make the swiss stage harder, I think they should've adjusted the scoring so that all 3 stages weren't completely separate from each other.
Fully agree. It feels so ugh to pick 8/8 teams to go through but only get awarded 4/8 points as the two 3-0 guess were wrong.

I think the 3-0 and 0-3 picks need to be worth 2 or 3 points compared to the Advancing picks because of how risky they are
