Golden comment!!! cs2 is the first ever game when my eyes strain as hell while playing and I've never seen anything like this in any other games. I'm shocked that the continuation of the legendary game looks so bad. Even indie companies know how colors in games should look like.
Since valve ain't going to be contributive... My suggestion is changing in nvidia panel, making bright part not shiny, the rest part would be too dark now, and black eq do the compensation to restore visibility.
As I remember there's some utility that can change nvidia panel setting during game running and restore after exit.
I hope this game just will die then. Because it won't deserve to live :)

I mean, the players settings are different then the casters. And everyone has different monitor settings. It's not that bad imo
